West Side Electric was awesome! I called them around 9 AM, at my house by 1 PM and done by 1:30. These guys did a great job and were very polite and professional! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs their services!

I lost power at my unit at night and I called them. They picked up my call and gave me advice on the phone and now turn the breaker on to get power back in my unit. This was free advice and they didn’t have to do it. I would recommend using them for electric needs.

Jerry runs a great business. Guys on call were prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. Can’t recommend enough.

Well, I had the hardest time communicating with the lady on the phone. It was one of those conversations where the person offering the service thinks you should know how they run their business? And gets kind of short with you when you don't understand? Kind of annoying to start off that way. Anyhow, the electrician, Jerry, was very pleasant to talk to. Unfortunately, he was a complete no-show for my appointment.

I called ½ hour after my appointment time to see if he wanted to reschedule for later in the day. There had been a terrible storm the night before and I assumed they had picked up an emergency call. He said that's exactly what had happened. So I said that it was no problem for me to wait until later that day. Again, kind of annoying that I had to do the calling to find out what was going on. It would have been pretty easy to just give me a call to let me know. But whatever, it's not the electrician's job to act as his own receptionist if he actually has one, right? Again, Jerry was very nice on the phone, and sounded kind of busy. I told him to just call as soon as he was on his way and he said he would. But he never did call back, and neither did anyone else from the company. Now, that was the last straw. For some reason I suspect the scheduling staff dropped the ball, because every time I spoke to Jerry he was professional and courteous. I wasted an entire day waiting around for them. I have to cancel and reschedule the next phase of work on my kitchen until I can get another electrician. I will be calling someone else first thing Monday morning. And I will be telling all of my friends on NextDoor to stay away from this company unless they can get their scheduling act together.

Fantastic, friendly service. No pressure to overspend and I was given several options going forward for my AC needs. Highly recommend.

Jerry at West Side Electric is the best ever! He didn’t have to take our call after his shift was over but he did, and he immediately came to work on our house so we could get our power back on for our family. We are so impressed and happy with our service. We will be using West Side Electric from now on

Once upon a time, this was a great company - people were friendly, and I called on them for a number of electric and HVAC services for about 10 years, not to mention recommending them to others. When I inquired why a routine HVAC maintenance was $260 for a rental unit, I was supposed to receive a call back regarding the bill. Instead, I received another bill with a nasty, handwritten note at the bottom where Jerry said they aren't a "fly-by-night" company and they've been in business 40 years. Still didn't answer my question about charging me $260 for routine HVAC service, and when I called, the lady did say she tried to call me back the next day and left a voicemail, but I never received a message. I called, paid the bill, and told them I would never use them for anything again. I have been a good customer of theirs for several years, but I'm done. Never again.

I needed two plugs installed. I called one evening thinking I was going to just leave a message and the owner answered. He talked through my project and gave me an estimate on the phone. I received a call following up and scheduled the service, Two young men came and did the work professionally and courteously. The price was great. I highly recommend West Side Electric.

We’ve called on Westside Electric three times now, and they've been absolute lifesavers EVERY single time. It's refreshing to work with a team that's not only super quick to respond but also genuinely cares about your issue. We were told by other companies it would be days to help us only to have Westside come out in a few hours…. And get the job done super quickly!

I have worked with Jerry and his team for various electrical and HVAC needs over the years. They are always punctual, up-front and honest, and priced reasonably for their services. Jerry literally just saved me hundreds when a big box company quoted me for a repair and replacement part on my HVAC unit that he was able to come out and repair without a replacement part! Thankful and highly recommend giving them a call for your electrical and HVAC needs!

We had an excellent experience with Jerry and his team at West Side Electric. Woody and his apprentice Jared came out this morning and replaced an old breaker box in our 1969 home and you’d think they could do it with their eyes closed. They were knowledgeable, polite, and efficient with their work. We will absolutely be using them for any electrical needs in the future.

I haven't done business with them, but I will. They graciously gave detailed advice immediately over the phone during the January 2026 ice storm when a neighbor's neutral line from the pole came detached. Electricity seemed to work fine, but it was potentially a safety issue. They took their time, and patiently answered my electrically unsavvy neighbor's questions. We deeply appreciated it.
