I did not end up using Go Flooring, which is why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1. Just want to share my experience so that prospective customers have more info when researching their options. I wanted a flooring quote from Go Flooring to compare with other flooring quotes, and the salesman who showed up at my house wanted to stay for 2.5 hours and give me a long and high pressure pitch to convince me to commit to buying from them that very day. I found their pricing to be opaque and intentionally deceptive, and had difficulty getting any straight answers from the salesman. When I’d finally had enough and tried to explain that I wasn’t interested, they became argumentative. It’s possible I just had a bad experience from one salesman, but it seems more likely to me that Go Flooring carefully trains their sales staff on a standardized process that feels manipulative and deceptive, in order to maximize sales by any means necessary. I would just caution prospective buyers to be aware that if you have these people come to your house, you probably aren’t getting a low pressure appointment with helpful information shared efficiently. Be ready for a long sales pitch leading to them expecting you to purchase from them that day.
