I begin the service with true green at the beginning of May and now that it’s approaching September, my yard Continues to look worse than it has ever looked.The photos below are all from my front yard which is a small yard. I couldn't believe that they were willing to post a TruGreen sign in my yard.

True Green killed my grass. All of the grass along the sidewalk is completely dead and several other places in the yard where there use to be grass is bald now. Our neighborhood HOA penalized us for not having grass now at the sidewalk. Scheduled truegreen to come out to discuss only to send someone to do another charged service which we stopped. Tried calling the company again and the lady was so rude on the phone saying it’s our fault. Not even interested in trying to resolve the situation. Since we cancelled them I can see grass trying to grow back where they killed it. I’m appalled with True Green. Took no responsibility not cared to find out what’s wrong.

I'm happy they come back and re-spray, if weeds don't all die out. I have the Trucore package and the Mosquito package. It's a process, so I'll reevaluate recommendations of service and products as time goes by this year.

The Mosquito package service is worthless and a waste of time and money! I made sure nothing around property was holding water and I don't have musky areas around anywhere. The service consisted of a backpack blower type of service and I still had Mosquitoes. The Trucore lawn service package isn't that great either, and I'm not picking on, nor am I disgruntle. I have cameras set around my property, and on most services, the techs never sprayed a majority of the property which is why they could show up, spray, and leave in 10 minutes for 8667sq ft. This is the second chance I've given Trugreen, and I won't be using them again for future services. This is as real as a review can get!

Came to deliver load of fertilizer, for unload that should have been 15 minutes it took 1 hour 15 minutea. Very slow.

Specialist VALAJI did our mosquito treatment today and I was able to watch him through my windows from inside my house. He did a very thorough job and I am very pleased about that. He actually did much better than some of them have done in the past. I have cameras all over the outside of my house and it records them when they treat my property. I have been very disappointed with a lot of the ones who fertilize and treat for weeds in my yard. Some of them just skip parts of the yard. I have complained to TruGreen about it a few times but it doesn’t do any good.

Larry was such a professional. He came and talked to me and my wife about grounds progress. He was detailed in his work in spraying weeds in random areas of the yard and had a very nice new machine that looked like it helped the tech carry out his work effectively. Great Job tru green and Larry for your professionalism and kindness to my wife and kids. This is the best my yard has looked in years.

Was considering canceling the mosquito control service, but after today’s exceptional service, we are in for the long run. The young man performed a phenomenal job around the entire perimeter, paying special attention to the wooded area in the back yard. A+++

We hired Trugreen after moving into our new build home. We had put in an irrigation system and watered the sod early and a lot...especially during those first few months when it was so hot out. Fast forward 6 months, my grass looks almost dead. We have tried since November to get someone out to do a soil sample to see why it was looking so bad. They came out and did ANOTHER treatment and charged us again. It is literally impossible to get anyone on the phone. I have been sent 3 emails stating I need to correct my number..the number they have is correct and everyone else seems to get me just fine. Every yard in my neighborhood looks amazing...even the ones that do not hire a company. Mine however looks horrendous.
A man finally came out and said he didn't need a soil sample. He knew exactly what was wrong.....it needed water and lime. Well folks, I do all of the watering and THEY were supposed to put on the Lime, So why is it still brown?? Looking at all of my neighbors yards, I am better off without them. IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone on the phone and certainly not the same person twice. Then they want to tell me I am not watering? I am not happy AT ALL with their Customer Service, I am not happy with their product. If you want your yard to look like my picture, then feel free to hire them. As for everyone else that wants a fabulous yard......STAY AWAY FROM TRUGREEN!!

Absolute piss poor service. Long review, but worth the read... Technicians at the house are decent. Phone techs are rude and disrespectful. Supervisor and management are horrible. Which explains why the service is horrible. Subordinates are a direct reflection of their leadership... Tech ran over and broke 3 of my gas cans; 5gal, 2gal, and another 2gal fuel cans. After multiple arguments about it and the tech never denied property damage a supervisor promised to replace them. He did not show when promised. After another phone call he had someone send out ONE single 2gal metal and used fuel can. Phone tech argued with me that my yard had been serviced for weeds when I told her nobody showed up. They later admitted that it doesnt look like any has been here. Agreed to come out and "re-treat" my yard that was never serviced. They brought a partially used 4 gallon back pack sprayer to service a yard that is OVER 1 acre and full of weeds. If you want respect , quality, and honesty I strongly discourage TruGreen ...would recommend Performance Lawns ten times over before ever doing business with them. With lying about my services performed that were not(because I was home to witness) I personally feel robbed. With the disrespectful tongues of their employees ,I have no trust and faith in competence. With destruction of property, without full replacement I'm completely angry with the money that I have wasted with NO RESULTS. Do NOT make the same mistake i did. Look elsewhere, their competition has to be better ...has to be ...

Paid True Green for 4 months of service in the most comprehensive plan (over $600) to get rid of weeds in the lawn. My lawn is still full of broad leaf weeds. When I cancelled the plan due to poor service and the sales team called they insisted that the only way they would treat the problem was if I was to sign back up. Don’t believe the “guarantee”. I paid for a service that did not address the reason I paid them to address. I would have expected the problem to be remedied and would have gladly continued.

I have had Trugreen come out several times to treat weeds. Every time they treat the weeds, they never die or even turn a different color. The only thing they can do is treat it again, to no avail. I could have sprayed my own weed killer and probably would have had better results or at least would have saved several hundreds of dollars. The last time they scheduled for a re-treatment they canceled near the end of the day and now they can come out because of snow and rain.

Trugreen says they tailor the treatment to each lawn, but I think they spray the same stuff on everyones lawn.

Save your money, don't hire Truripoff.

Thank for addressing my grass problem by reseeding my yard. With rain forecast for the next two days the results should be great.

I hired Trugreen to rid me of weeds on my lawn. After numerous months, they were unable to kill the weeds, maybe because they kept spraying the same chemicals on them each time. Not only did the weeds not die, the flourished. After getting tired of them coming back out with the same results (the definition of Insanity), I fired them. Because I would have gotten the same results if I sprayed water on my lawn.

If you are thinking about having weeds killed in your yard, please think about another company.

I’ve been a loyal TruGreen customer for years and, up until recently, the service was consistently solid. Unfortunately, the last six months have been a real disappointment.

I don’t know if it’s related to their merger with Scotts or if I just got assigned a bad route technician, but things started going downhill in April. I’ve called multiple times since then to request service. When nothing happened in May, I called again to cancel. At that point, I was offered a free service for June — but that never actually happened either.

Now it’s mid-July. I called again and was told someone would be out on Monday. It’s now Thursday afternoon, and still no one has shown up. At this point, I’m done with the excuses and missed appointments. I don’t want more promises. I want a company that delivers.

After years of good results, it’s frustrating to see TruGreen decline like this. I’ve heard good things about Lawn Doctor and will be exploring other options. I wish I could still recommend TruGreen — but based on my recent experience, I just can’t anymore.

My lawn has responded well and looks great since TruGreen has been servicing my yard. My neighbors have complemented me on the care the lawn has shown this year.

TrueGreen’s salespeople ignored my no solicitation signs and when I pointed out my sign to the salesperson they attempted to further solicit me. The next time they enter my property they will be trespassed. I will do business with a company who so willfully ignores a person’s request for privacy.

Shoutout to the TruGreen team—these folks work incredibly hard, even in the blazing heat, and always do a fantastic job keeping my yard looking great. Their consistency and attention to detail haven’t gone unnoticed. I really appreciate the care they put into what they do. Highly recommend!

TruGreen service is very good. They offer flexibility if treatment dates allowing me to reschedule if the planned date is inconvenient using their phone app. Technician’s are respectful, polite and hardworking getting the treatments done with a minimum of intrusion while at our home.

I’ve tried numerous times over the last year to cancel this service. They continue to show up and bill me. You can’t call them locally. You’re routed to a call center in India. The last time a representative came to my place, he got his truck stuck and destroyed part of my yard. Do not use this company.

I have created multiple bad reviews with many evidential pictures. Once I attempt to post, my post gets deleted. People, do not go with this company. They are awful!

Customer with Tru Green. Have had several interactions w/them. Customer Service, Treatment Reps, Salespeople and Every experience has exceeded expectations...Our Service person, Anthony is professional, reliable and efficient! Service is great, price is very reasonable...highly recommend! Reliable and professional!
