As a new customer I inherited a GFE system on a home purchase and I was clueless about solar. I found their customer support was apparent from the first call. Even the administrative staff was extremely knowledgeable, answering extensive questions and providing great industry information. Taylor Thomas became my primary POC providing more quality information. She scheduled the technical team to assess the system’s health within a couple of days at my request. Frans and Chris came on-site providing a thorough assessment of the equipment, and a few updates were recommended and completed in days. All this took place before the house purchase was completed. I found GFE has outstanding customer service with a great team that delivered in record time for me.

We just got a solar system (no pun intended) installed for our home, and can unequivocally recommend Good Faith Energy. We decided to install solar panels and interface to our Generac system and called GFE (Sammy) based on our neighbors recommendation. It has been a positive experience from then, GFE project management (Amanda) went from estimates to permits through installs and Q&A smoothly. The installation team were both highly skilled and very friendly. We are enjoying the fruits of the Texas sunshine, and you should too!

Good Faith Energy has been fantastic to work with. We had some communication bumps, but our project manager, Samantha, did a great job of smoothing them out as quickly as possible and keeping our project on track. One of their electricians, Albert, was amazing. He came to our house to address a couple of issues we were experiencing and handled them quickly and extremely professionally. I would absolutely recommend them if you're considering putting in solar.

Good Faith Energy was fantastic installing a very complex roof with the Tesla Solar Roof, six power walls, and two SPAN units. Their great work ethic and technical ability both on the roof and with the electrical systems produced a gorgeous result!

Good Faith Energy did a wonderful job installing my solar panels and Powerwall 3. They are easy to contact, very responsive to questions and kept me informed of status leading to actual installation. System looks good and has been running perfectly.

I researched solar panel companies for months in preparation for hiring one for my home. Ultimately I decided on Good Faith Energy because of its reputation, professional knowledge (that became evident when compared to the employees of other companies I interviewed who didn’t seem to know/understand the capabilities of the various products I asked about), products offered, comprehensive installation, set up, and post-installation assistance, and use of Good Faith Energy employees in the scope of work (as opposed to a rotating door of sub contractors who can have varying skills & work quality). I had the following installed with my system: solar panels, battery/inverter, extra battery, and SPAN panel. This was a big investment for me so research and due diligence was critical. Good Faith has exceeded my expectations, and even when I reported minor things that I think could have been done better (for example, a caulk sealing), Good Faith Energy promptly responded and sent a professional out to address/remediate it. Though the system was installed and working and they were paid, there was no hesitation or delay in their response and sending someone out. It’s been almost 2 months since my installation and my system has endured heavy rainfall, snow, and ice, and, to my knowledge, everything has worked as it’s supposed to. I also appreciate the post-installation guidance in choosing the right electricity plan and programming of the SPAN and Powerwall apps for same. Overall, after getting at least 6 estimates and meeting with 3 solar panel companies, I don’t think I would trust such an investment to any other company in DFW presently. While Good Faith Energy wasn’t the highest bid, when I reviewed the lower bids, it became apparent why they were lower in terms of the systems (one less battery, different brand inverter/battery, lower quality panels, no SPAN panel, etc) and the contracts seemed to shield them from liability for their own potential wrongdoing(s) and/or allow them to use subs for the installation that the purchaser has no control over while the company has you indemnify them for mistakes/issues such subs you don’t choose cause. That was a hard pass for me! If you want quality, reliability, knowledgeable staff, no unknown sub contractors, on going customer service, top of the line products, & a reasonable price for a quality system, then Good Faith Energy is the company to use! I’m very pleased with their work and follow up.

I don’t normally write reviews, and Good Faith Energy did not ask me to write this review, but I’ve had such good experiences with this company that I had to express my praise for Good Faith Energy.

I first contacted Good Faith Energy to help with solar planning for an all-electric house build I was building in Dallas, TX. While the house was still in the pre-drywall phase, I wanted to make sure that anything that could be added in the construction phase to help with solar installation later was done. Good Faith Energy helped me out, and for a nominal fee, they designed an electrical plan and coordinated with the builder on what components would make installation easier in the future.

My original plan was to build the house and live in the house for a year to figure out my electricity needs, and then design a solar system around my usage. However, after moving in in early 2025, I decided to proceed with solar installation given my fear that the solar tax credit would be going away soon.

I explored several solar companies, but ultimately picked Good Faith Energy. They were familiar with the products I was interested in (REC solar panels, SPAN panels, and Tesla Powerwall 3). They are very involved with the community and post very insightful videos on YouTube. You can tell that their owner and all of the employees are passionate about what they sell and install, and truly care about selecting the right solar system for you.

My sales associate with Sammy, who was happy to provide different quotes, and he offered me very good suggestions about things I hadn’t thought of. Joe was the engineer that worked on the plans, and he was also incredibly helpful and patient with me. He understood my desire to maximize the number of panels on my roof space, and tried out different ways with the design to maximize solar production. Samantha and Amanda were excellent project managers, who kept me informed throughout the entire project.

My install was a bit more complicated than a typical residential system. My house is all-electric, and I have a 320 amp service powering two 200 amp panels. As a result, I ultimately went with a 28.5 kW REC solar panel system powering two separate sets of Tesla Powerwall 3 (5 total).

Special shoutout to our electrician Ronnie and the site manager Shane, along with the rest of the Good Faith Energy install team, who battled some of the hottest days this summer to install the project on time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and the result is a very clean install.

I live in a conservation district in Dallas, and as a result, I needed approval from the conservation district as well as from the City of Dallas. It took several months to get a permit, but Good Faith Energy had experience with this and knew how to handle it.

There was one minor rough patch. We scheduled a city inspection two weeks ahead of schedule, but Good Faith Energy wasn’t there where the city inspector came, which generated an immediate red-tag. However, this was ironed out by the next week, and we received a green tag after just one inspection the following week.

Since the install, I’ve had a couple minor issues with the system, but Good Faith Energy was quick to respond and resolve the issues. I have been left with a feeling that this company stands behind their project.

In the end, for such a complex and expensive project, I have had an extremely positive experience working with Good Faith Energy, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solar install in DFW.

We have now used Good Faith Energy twice for outstanding service, and both times they have exceeded our expectations. For our first project, installing a complete solar system with 30 Solar Panels, Powerwall and SPAN electrical smart panel and the team was exceptional from start to finish. Our most recent project, adding additional panels to max out our Powerwall inverter before this year’s tax credits end was handled with the same level of professionalism and expertise. The entire team, including Frans with follow-up onsite visit to address any questions was over the top, Frans was communicative, knowledgeable, outlined options and best practices to take advantage of the capabilities of the solar/battery system. It's rare to find a company that maintains such high standards across multiple projects, but Good Faith Energy does. In fact, I would like GFE to possibly install/upgrade our vacation home out of state. We highly recommend them, and we will be repeat customers in the future

This outfit was on time and ahead of schedule throughout the entire time. Very positive experience from day one. The employees arrived on time, where very careful with my lighting fixtures and noticed and repaired items that needed attention. Would give them 10+ stars.

I had new stadium lights installed on my driving range, batting cages, and mini golf course. They also replaced all the interior light boxes and the exterior recessed lights in my shop. The team did a fantastic job, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. frank is our top choice for all electrician work! whenever we require any electrical services for our operations, he is the one we call. he always responds quickly and maintains complete transparency with every project. one task involved setting up a new outlet for a specific piece of equipment with unique power supply needs, different from our existing infrastructure. this task had a strict deadline, and we needed the power supply ready a week before a major holiday. frank was at the site the very next day to provide us with a quote, he then procured the necessary parts, and completed the task the following day. the work he did received commendation from the technician who was dispatched to install the equipment.
