Electrical reviews in Addison, Texas

I returned home from a short trip only to discover that my power had gone out. I was lucky enough to find Ethan & Sons Electricians online and I immediately reached out for a free quote. Easton, the owner, along with a specialist named Jerome, promptly visited my home the same day to evaluate the issue. They found that my electrical panel was severely damaged. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They thoroughly explained the seriousness of the damage and the potential risks involved. They also provided me with several options. Such professionalism and honesty are hard to come by these days, particularly in this line of work. Due to my tight schedule and the complexity of the repair work, I requested if the panel replacement could be done the next day. They were more than willing to accommodate my request. Sure enough, Jerome arrived on time the next morning and replaced my electrical panel within the promised time frame. They delivered on their promise of quality work, and Jerome even cleaned up everything after finishing the job. This has been one of the most outstanding customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. I was truly impressed by the before and after results!

I have been a very satisfied customer for the past five years, with projects ranging from small tasks like lighting repairs and outlet swaps to larger ones such as separating an 80A feed from the house to the workshop and setting up a new dedicated 200A service. Recently, they completed the installation of a Generac 24kw generator for backup power at my home, after thoroughly troubleshooting some initial issues. They are truly the best electricians I've ever worked with, and I can't see myself hiring anyone else. I would describe Walter and his team as punctual, reasonably priced, helpful, professional, and friendly. You definitely won't regret choosing them for your electrical needs!

Objective 1: Install 7 recessed lights in the kitchen. Objective 2: Install a 50 amp generator power inlet box (also known as a pigtail) to support a portable generator. Results: Both tasks were completed precisely and on time, with regular updates provided throughout the process. 100% success! Jerome and his team did an outstanding job, and I would rate them higher than 5 stars if I could. They came out weeks in advance to discuss our electrical needs for the recessed lights and to rewire our breaker box for portable generator use during outages. They also delivered a detailed cost estimate within a day or two. While working, they took great care to protect our belongings and quickly cleaned up any mess to keep the area tidy. I highly recommend their services to anyone needing electrical work. The workmanship was fantastic, and their professionalism was impressive!

I was curious about installing a dedicated outlet for my Honda 2200 generator. Curtis was very honest with me and explained that my generator was on the smaller side, so investing $1200-1500 might not be necessary since it would mainly power my refrigerator and possibly a fan, but not much else. He took the time to discuss the importance of running my generator monthly and even provided tips on where to find the best fuel for it! He was such a nice guy, and I truly appreciate his honesty. I highly recommend Ethan & Sons Electricians to anyone! I have used their services before and will definitely rely on them in the future!

They took care of a large project for me, installing ceiling fans and new lighting in several rooms of my house. They also put up ceiling fans and string lights outside under my pergola. Curtis and the crew also fixed some other electrical problems and managed to install a light in a tricky spot in the storage room. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will definitely call them again for any electrical needs.

I had a great experience with the electricians. They scheduled my appointment quickly and even arrived a few minutes before the time we agreed on. Carter figured out the problem with my breaker panel fast and fixed it without going over my budget. I would recommend their electrical services to anyone and will definitely call them again. I’m really happy with their work and positive attitude.

I needed to have our breaker panel replaced and a whole-home surge protector installed at our house in Addison. I got quotes from seven different electricians through some online services. Carter was easily the most professional and straightforward among them. Even though his price wasn’t the cheapest, it was very fair, so I decided to go with him for the job. Carter’s work really proved I made the right choice—everything was done to a high standard, and he took the time to explain each step and why it was necessary, just like he did when we first talked about the project. The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end. I’ll definitely call on Carter again for any future electrical work, big or small.
