Tom and his crew led by Omar provided an incredible service from start to finish. My wife and I were dreading the cost and hassle of getting our homes foundation repaired. We called five different companies and had each of them provide a free estimate.

Company one came in and told us we needed 40 piers around the entire house at a cost of $18,500. Company two came in and said the movement in our house scared him and he didn’t even quote us. Companies three and four were just as pricey as company one.

I recently noticed some cracks in the walls of my home. So I scheduled several foundation companies to come out, evaluate my foundation and provide me with estimates for any work. Tom Dodson, the owner of Dodson Foundation Repair, was my second appointment of the day. Within 5 minutes of stepping inside, Tom told me that based upon his many years of experience, he was able to tell immediately that there was no work that he would recommend at this time. While this may seem a little presumptuous, let me add that when I first contacted Dodson Foundation Repair to schedule the appointment, Tom spent a good deal of time with me on the phone. During that conversation, he tried to educate me on things to look for and questions to ask of the various foundation companies which I had an interest working with. From that conversation, I formed the impression that Tom is an honest and ethical businessman who is genuinely interested to helping people (not just as customers). Additionally, the appointment prior to Tom's, that company performed their assessment and was not recommending any foundation work either. Surprisingly, after Tom told me he didn't think I need foundation work and I told him that that was also the conclusion the other foundation company, Tom asked to me to do the courteous thing and cancel the other appointments I had scheduled for the rest of the day. He suggested that I would be freeing up those other appointments, so that those other companies could potentially help people who might actually need foundation work. Honestly, I just thought that was a really cool mindset to take. So if and when I do need foundation work done, Dodson Foundation Repair will be one of the first companies I call.

Tom arrived at appointed time and was very friendly. He did a thorough review including measurements. He took the time to answer my questions about the things I was seeing. He was honest enough to let me know I didn't need foundation repair at this time. He pointed out a tree that might become a concern down the road. No charge for his visit.
