I'm absolutely thrilled with their incredible work on my driveway! From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, their outstanding customer service and attention to detail left me genuinely satisfied. The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations, resulting in a beautiful and sturdy driveway. Exactly what I wanted! Surprisingly, they finished ahead of schedule and kept a clean work area throughout. I just couldn't be happier! Thank you!
Consumer beware The project was to remove all the grass on the sides of the house and place Pavers instead, as well as widening the driveway and placing pebbles around the outside of the fence. We hired a contractor from "Best Hardscaping and Pavers of Allen" they also call themselves "DFW Pavers" and "Evercrete LLC". (Multiple names to make it easier to disguise, should have been red flag #1). Initially they said, Kennedy Nugent is the only sales person and contractor but later they said "he is one of multiple contractors". So, Kennedy came by and literally told us everything we wanted to here. He was very tentative and kind, and made lots of promises on materials and work plans, and offered to do a few extra things at no charge!!! (That "Sounds too good to be true", should have been Red flag #2). The initial agreement was he gets paid when he is done, then by the second meeting it turned into 3 payments. Initial down payment then half before he starts and half after he finishes. We felt that was fair and we agreed. On the first down payment check he came late in the evening to get it, which we thought a bit odd, but OK. On the second check, he showed up at 7:15am to pick it up and had it cashed as soon as the bank opened. The Circus started when he came with one person to help and a bobcat to dig (red flag #3). Of course it all started with the Bobcat, he literally broke almost every sprinkler line, and continued digging after it got dark. As we brought that to his attention, he kept saying, "i will fix it later!!!!", but later missed half of the broken lines. His work seemed at best mediocre, and he would show up for a bit and disappears the rest of the day. Then he would skip a day or two and come back for half, and the game of cat & mouse began, because he was doing multiple jobs at the same time. We had several talks and several attempts to get him to commit and focus on the project, but yet it was an excuse after another along with an attitude. He refused to sign off on a completion date, as he knew he was going to drag it till God knows when. We felt we really needed super high boots from all the bull...not to mention the cheap materials he started bringing instead of all the high quality that was verbally discussed. Needless to say, we realized that this was a huge mistake and this is turning into a complete disaster. I asked him to give us about half of the money back and call it a day. We figured we take our losses and move on, but his true colors were showing by then and he refused. So we fired him and asked him to get his stuff off of our property and not to ever come back again. Most definitely, we will be filing a lawsuit, once we gather all documentations. Neighbors, I highly advise everyone to run the other direction if you happened to stumble across any of the above names. The icing on the cake is, the initial company who referred him is definitely part of their combined scheme. The only thing they are professionals at is how to smoothly take your money and destroy your property. I hope no one else falls for their scheme.
