We were very pleased with the service Wauson Tree Service provided. The price was very fair. They arrived right on time. They trimmed a very large oak tree in our backyard, and did an excellent job. We have used many other tree services in the past, but Wauson did the best job, by far. They cleaned up all the limbs and leaves. Will definitely use them again, and would recommend them without hesitation.

I have used Wauson Tree Service multiple times, over a number of years, and will continue to use them. I am thoroughly satisfied with their service and have recommended them to several neighbors (who have used them also). Walt and the crew have always done great work and leave the trees and yard looking better than when they arrived. I appreciate the work they do!

Update after 05/28/24 storm: I am thankful that my two large backyard trees had no significant damage, probably in part to Wauson's care over the past several years.

Outstanding, professional, and reasonably priced. Walt has a wealth of knowledge and experience and knows how to thin out trees, weight distribution, health, etc. Its the full experience vs cutting a few limbs here and there. His crew is high up in the trees doing hard work. Thrilled with the outcome, highly recommended.

Wauson Tree Service trimmed several of our trees in January. The crew was on site for almost 8 hours and even trimmed trees that were not in the initial bid. Walt was quite attentive to our questions and the whole experience was good. We would definitely hire Wauson Tree Service again!

I can not recommend Wauson Tree Service enough! My husband and I are first time homeowners, before we bought our home we knew we would need to remove several trees in our backyard. We reached out to Walt because we wanted somebody local with a great reputation. His team did a phenomenal job. I was concerned about one of the trees because of its location, they were able to remove it with no problems or damages to our fence. The whole crew went above and beyond when it came to answering questions and cleaning up. We’re very appreciative of Walt for taking the time to explain best practices for our trees and even answering some of our general home maintenance questions. We still have a few more projects we want to tackle later in the year and we will definitely be hiring Wauson again.

My neighbor across the alley had some very large live oaks trimmed beautifully by Walt Wauson and his team and said he would use no one else, so when I needed my three red oaks cleaned up, I called Walt. He went by very quickly and called me with his quote, which was very fair.

On the planned date Walt and his crew showed up and within about 15 minutes there were three men climbed up into the trees.

They thinned them out beautifully letting in more sunlight so my new St Augustine sod would grow. They brought their own chipper and took away every bit of waste — a wonderful cleanup.

Also, I have some delicate landscaping in my backyard as well as hanging lights. I offered to move some things, but they said they would tie off branches and lower them down so I didn’t need to do that. They even swept up my roof.

I am super-pleased with their work and cannot say enough good about them.

In less than three hours from their arrival, they had everything finished and beautifully cleaned up, too.

I can't say enough good things about Wauson Tree Service! I have used them more than once and most recently to remove a large oak tree that was slowly dying in my front yard. Walt not only gave me the most reasonable estimate, but when the tree farm recommended that they go deeper with the stump grinder to allow for the depth the new tree would need, Walt came back not once, but twice to make sure that was accomplished and done well. We needed to have a dead tree removed, a Bradford Pear trimmed, two Oaks pruned, and several Crape Myrtles trimmed to keep them off the roof of our house. Walt was punctual, communicative, and did an excellent job. He came out immediately to provide a quote, even though I wasn't home, and was able to assess the situation from the alley and front yard. He sent the quote to me for review promptly.
