Tree reviews in Allen, Texas

We hired Derek and the crew to thin some trees at our property. They provided very prompt service and were very responsive in all of their communications. Their work was high quality and they cleaned up the area well.

After the horrible ice storm in Austin when so much tree damage we had Lumberjack Tree Service leave a card on our door. Derek and his crew did a great job cleaning up our property, trimming tree tops, and hauling it all away for a very reasonable price.

Lumber Jack Tree Service, under Derek’s exceptional leadership, was phenomenal! When a tree emergency caused a road hazard, Derek led his team to respond immediately, arriving swiftly and resolving the issue in mere minutes. His hands-on guidance ensured the work was precise, professional, and impeccably clean, with the area left spotless. Derek’s respectful and courteous approach, combined with his ability to orchestrate such prompt, high-quality service, made the experience seamless. I highly recommend Derek and Lumber Jack Tree Service for top-tier tree care!

Would like to send a heart full thanks to Mr. Derek Herbert and his company for doing a wonderful job on our tree removal. His team is professional and highly skilled and worked great as a team. We had a huge pecan three removed from our house that extended over a fence into the neighbors yard and they kept it clean and not any damages to the fence nor our neighbors property. They were efficient without any wasted movements! I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking to have a tree taken down. Very impressed with the work and highly satisfied!

Derek and his crew are top notch! They were on time and all just wonderful people. We recently moved to a home with overgrown bushes, dead trees and healthy trees that needed pruning. The before and after pictures tell the story. You will be glad when you hire them to take care of your trees.

20 years ago, I was a first time homeowner- living in Dallas with no clue on how to take care of the tree in my front yard. I reached to Derek and he made my tree and home look amazing. Fast Forward and I now live Frisco. I tried another tree trimming company and even attempted the work myself. However I could not replicate the aesthetic and service I had received from Lumberjack. I reached to Derek and he did not fail me. My Live Oaks were trimmed and shaped to not only enhance the tree but the facade of my home. My silver leaf maple was given the love it needed as well. I learned my lesson and will only call Derek and Lumberjack Tree Service.

Lumberjack Tree Service exceeded my expectations and will be my go to service provider in the future. Please take a few minutes to let me tell you why.

My previous experience with other tree trimming companies is probably similar to yours. Normally they trim a few branches to get branches away from other structures, do some rudimentary shaping, take your money, and call it a day. Derek runs his business differently and the results speak for themselves.

When Derek showed up to assess our needs and provide a quote I was immediately struck by his enthusiasm for trees and his desire to make them as beautiful and healthy as possible. He appreciates that each tree is unique and he considers airflow, canopy height and consistency, aesthetic form, and sound structure to promote healthy long-term growth when he's proposing work. After a walkthrough and discussion about what we needed and what was best for our trees, Derek provided a detailed proposal that was comprehensive and fairly priced with a very short turnaround time.

Derek and his team delivered excellent results and showed great respect for our property while performing their work. Once the initial trimming pass was complete Derek walked the yard with us, asked questions, and provided some additional trimming recommendations based on what he noticed as well as questions we had. It was my first experience working with a tree trimming service provider who actually created more work for himself simply because he likes creating beautiful treescapes and really cares about his customers and their trees.

Derek is an honest man with an incredible work ethic and he will take care of your trees as if they were his own. He deserves your business and you deserve the excellent results that he will deliver. My trees have never looked better and we've actually caught ourselves going outside a few times just to look at how great they look now. That's a first for us but I'm sure we'll be doing it again after their next trimming by Lumberjack Tree Service.

Derek and his team did an amazing job on my giant red oak tree! He called me with a great quote and immediately started working and finished the same day. He cleaned up the deadwood at the top of the tree and took some weight off by thinning the canopy in the middle and ends. I can breathe a sigh of relief now that I don’t have to worry about the heavy limbs falling on my house during our Texas storms. I will definitely continue to use Lumberjack Tree Service to keep my tree healthy. I highly recommend Derek and his team!

Our tree had a broken limb and we were concerned about the tree. We called them and they came out the same day to check the tree. They offered many helpful suggestions and honest opinions. They shared their remarkable knowledge and experiences with trees for free. No oversell. Highly recommend!

Great service and fair price for the job. They do well with big jobs like our HOA in Murphy. Easy to work with and Chris, Ryder and the whole crew is great.

These guys are like TREE NINJAS! 🥷 They came in and cut up the trees with such precision and hauled them off with their heavy duty equipment in record time! We will only use Parker Tree Service for our tree needs! Thank you, again!

Ryder, Chris, and the crew did an excellent job! They were fast, professional, and did a great job removing the tree and stump. The cleanup and restoration were very thorough. Highly recommend this team!

These guys did a great job taking down two massive trees, one near our service line. We also had them take a few smaller trees and trim the rest of the existing ones. They were punctual, brought the tools to knock the job out, and were extremely professional and courteous. Ryder and Chris provided great customer service. Highly recommended.

We had Parker Tree Service out September 2025. Ryder was quick with a quote (and I got many quotes) he explained every detail, he knows the business and was very professional. Chris and Ryder and their crew went the extra mile for us. It was a big job. Thank you so much for your expertise and professionalism. I highly recommend this company.

Great experience with Tree Service Boss of Allen! They were professional, on-time, and did fantastic work. Highly recommend for tree trimming and removal services

I was very impressed with Adam and his team. They did an incredible job on my large Oak tree trimming and gave me a fair price. They worked quickly and easily with my neighbors and were very conscientious about cutting branches off my roofline etc. Adam also provided good communication. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend Patriot.

Great service from communication to clean up! Highly recommend!

I contacted Adam at Patriot tree service to trim one tree and remove another. When he arrived to provide a quote, he suggested not trimming the tree as I had wanted because it wouldn’t be good for the tree. The other tree he agreed with removing because it was dangerous. I appreciated his honesty, and it was clear he’s very knowledgeable. I also found his pricing to be straightforward and reasonable. I will definitely call him again when I need additional tree work performed.
