We contacted Treehuggers to cut out the damaged part of a large red oak tree that was damaged during the severe cold in February 2021. They did an excellent job removing the damaged limbs. We also had them do minor pruning and limb removal from a red oak in the front yard. It looks even more beautiful now. They were quite professional and were eager to answer our questions. I would highly recommend them.

We were pleased with the trimming and shaping his crew did on our elm and oak. Ryan gave us an encouraging assessment of the health of both trees and tips for keeping them healthy. Reasonable rates for the trimming and cleanup. Prompt, polite, clean work area. Free mulch on demand for customers.

This is the go to company for tree trimming. The estimate was very reasonable and the workers who came to do the work were very professional. They explained in detail the trimming they intended to do and completed the work to my complete satisfaction. I would definitely use this company again for future tree trimming .

As a former tree care specialist who retired early for to a bone tumor on my leg that disabled me, I am always looking for tree services that can live up to my expectations. Let me tell you, there are some really bad service providers out there, but Treehugger Tree Service is not one of them. Not only did they go above and beyond the excellent maintenance they provided for the trees around our new home, they were super friendly to us and our dog, too. Ryan and his team were excellent to work with. The were on time, took care of cutting down a huge old oak tree and and pruning dead branches on other oaks. The crew worked hard in some extreme Texas heat and cleaned up everything afterwards. Ryan was also easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. I would recommend their services.

Treehugger Tree Service did a great job trimming several trees in my yard. They not only cleared out dead wood and too many branches choking out others, but they also cut with the future health and growth of the tree in mind. My goals were 1) get branches off the house and garage, 2) remove dead wood so my kids would be safe playing under them, 3) provide proper clearance over sidewalks, road, and driveway, and 4) ensure healthy trees in the future. I ran into them down the street on another job and was impressed with their equipment. I liked the idea of hiring a crew not just a couple of guys with chainsaws. What I got was a well-oiled machine with their own trucks, wood chipper, stump removers, multitudes of chainsaws of different sizes, and the long poles and handsaws you need for detail work. They can do so much more work with all the right tools. My trees look beautiful, and they timed their day to leave an hour for clean up. All the men were gentleman - receptive and willing to help with whatever request I had. This is the crew you want. They care about trees and doing good work. They take joy in it. And they get along with each other. It was a fun experience all around and I would love to have them back every year. You can tell they know what they're doing and no one is going to get hurt on the job. Safe and professional. This was the smoothest, most pleasant service experience I have ever had. From the initial contact, the evaluation of the work, the estimate, the work itself, and the final invoice, everything was seamless and breezy. And reasonably priced!

Ryan, the ISA Certified Arborist, was very helpful and informative in answering all of my questions - he even came to my house on crutches to evaluate the job. The office staff responded to all of my emails and texts within 5 minutes, and the crew who performed the work cleaned up so well that you would never even know they were there - except for the massive facelift given to my Live Oak.

I tend to have terrible luck with service providers but not in this case. I happened across one of their trucks in traffic and thought the name was clever. When I looked them up, I really liked the energy of their website and the information it provided, and I’m so glad I went with them.

Ryan was great! He showed up on time for the initial appointment and his knowledge of trees is apparent. He and his crew did our trimming on a day when no one was home. They cleaned up so well I wasn't sure if they had actually been there except all the trees looked terrific. We look forward to our next tree project. I highly recommend Treehugger Tree Service! I had a huge tree that was hanging over my roof and needed several areas of it cut. Ryan and his crew were professional, reasonable, and trustworthy. I had him back out to get a huge branch that came down on my roof after a bad storm and he came right away. They are the real deal when it comes to providing excellent customer service and high quality work.

We have used Ryan and his team to trim trees and to remove two big Cedar trees that have fallen, response and follow up was first class. From Shelly in the office to the crews that have done the work, our thanks to them! We highly recommend them!

Shelley is the receptionist/scheduler and she is very sweet and friendly when you call to make an appointment or have any questions. Ryan is the arborist and he is AWESOME! He knows his stuff and I trust him 100% when it comes to my almost 200 year old tree. He recommends only what is necessary and tells me the truth what doesn’t need to be done. Love this company for all my tree needs! Highly recommend.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, we lost our water oak tree to the Texas Freeze of February 2021. We had Ryan visit in May to assess the health of our water oak and provide an official diagnosis after the tree did not leaf in the Spring. Sadly, the tree needed to be removed. Once again, cue Ryan and his amazing Treehugger crew. They removed the tree safely, guiding each large limb down using a system of ropes and weight balancing, avoiding damage to our roof and driveway. They safely dropped the trunk on the grass (the tree was located between two driveways) and ground the stump to make the area usable for adding other plants. Once again, the whole crew was professional, friendly, and used fairly quiet equipment. Excellent job!

My husband and I live in an older neighborhood chock full of mature trees, and after watching (and hearing) the tree maintenance work done at neighboring properties, we decided to call an arborist. We recently moved into our house, and we wanted to learn more about the trees on our lot - and about proper maintenance. Cue Ryan the ISA-certified arborist and his amazing Treehugger crew!

Treehugger provided a top-notch, forward-thinking tree maintenance service for a very reasonable price! We learned about the types of trees on our lot and their health, and the crew worked with respect for the trees. Also, they used hand tools and resorted to chainsaws only when necessary. We were able to continue our remote work - meetings and all - as if they weren't even there!

Ryan & his team did an excellent job cutting our tree back after the winter freeze almost killed it. I appreciated that they love trees & aren't quick to want to cut them down/back unnecessarily. Also, I appreciate that they respect wildlife & made sure to safely clear our tree of critters before cutting. Most importantly, they knew what they were doing & made cuts that will hopefully help our tree to survive for years to come. I highly recommend them.

Treehugger did a great job on our trees. I really appreciated the way Ryan listend to my concerns and then walked me through his plan for the trees. He kept what was best for the trees in mind the whole time but also cut them so they enhance the appearance of the home.
They clean up was excellent as well and we'll be having them back in May to try and improve the health of our Pecan tree.
