Ryan just left my home and I can't tell you how grateful I am that I called this company over others. I called them out when one of our big trees suddenly dropped a huge branch on our lawn which spurred concerns about our other trees (our property has large mature oak trees) . I wanted someone to come out who would truly be honest about the health of my trees without pushing they be cut down if they can be saved. Ryan was exactly what I was looking for. He was extremely knowledgeable and was detrimental to helping me understand the health and condition of all of my trees. He walked me through my options, gave me his honest opinions and answered all of my questions and concerns. You can tell he cares about our environment and conservation, he has a huge respect for trees and I highly valued that in him. Often times its easy to be taken advantage of when you're not knowledgeable in the subject and you feel they're pushing you into doing something that's all about money. He was nothing like that, and from the beginning when I called their office and Shelley answered the call, they make you feel that they truly care. I did a lot of research to ensure that the company that came out would do what was best for the trees rather than suggesting they be cut down first. And I'm so happy I called them out. Do not doubt bringing them out for what you need. I'm really looking forward to using Ryan's expertise in the future and knowing I have a awesome place to call when I need anything for my trees!

Recently bought a home and the trees needed more than just a face lift. They've been outright neglected for probably 10 years or more. Ryan came out to give me a consultation a month ago and immediately knew he was in love with his job. He was so detailed and knowledgeable about his craft. The crew spent 8 hours making my front and back yard trees go from severely neglected to outright beautiful. I wanted a face lift, but they give my trees a complete facial reconstructive surgery. I will never use a different company for my tree needs and my wife and I will always recommend them when we can. I'm still in disbelief honestly. They took care of EVERYTHING we talked about and more. I'm so happy. 10 starts out of 5. I wish your company the best.

Ryan the owner of Tree hugger Tree Service is nothing short of top tier. He was prompt at getting to my tree as soon as he could and did beyond an outstanding job on my massive red oak. While he was there Ryan and his crew were able to take care of my neighbors trees as well. We are both beyond satisfied with his service and would highly recommend him. He is not only passionate about his job but an Arborist. Have comfort knowing you've got the best keeping your trees healthy for years with this company.

I had excellent results in 2 difficult to do 55-60 ft pine trees removal adjacent to power lines using Tree Huggers.
They had first rate equipment and crew that handled this in a way I was relieved that a professional bunch had everything in hand.
Ryan, the owner was congenial, answered my questions, even advised on tree replacement type and timing. His crew is well selected and trained- hard working and quality focused.
Overall I can highly recommend and plan to use them for tree replacement. -
We had Treehugger trim our entire front, back and side yard trees and bushes on 1/19/2024. Prior to starting work, we were provided with a written quote that outlined the entire scope of work, including descriptions of the work and pictures. We had an all-day contract. On the morning of the job, the surveyor was onsite to go over the scope of work with us and the five workers before they started cutting anything. They trimmed dead branches, copious amounts of mistletoe and specific branches on our oak and cedar elm trees. The arborist was a great help in providing advice. Their professionalism and care of our trees and flowerbed plants and roof was terrific. Their clean-up was thorough and fully met our expectations. We would highly recommend Treehugger.

We have several hundred plus year-old oaks on our property and I would trust no other company to taking care of them except for Treehuggers. They also take care of the other multiple trees on our property with pruning and keeping them healthy. Incredibly friendly crew and owners. Very knowledgeable and never want to do extra pruning or cutting when it is not necessary.
Our trees are healthy because of Treehuggers.
Highly recommended. -
I contracted with Treehuggers to remove two large pines at my parents home - professional workmanship and not a trace of the tree was left behind. Especially grateful for their respectful work as my father was in home hospice care at the time and he was not disturbed by the work being completed. Thank you!!

I had a very difficult tree removal project at my home. Two dead trees, one large right next to my house. It was dropping limbs, and needed removal. My son, who had past experience with them, advised I call. I am glad I did. They were very professional. Respect for the property, excellent clean up. I am glad they were recommended, and I will call them again when further work is needed.

This is my third time to use Tree Hugger Tree Service in the last 12 years to prune branches off a rather large Red Oak tree in my back yard. Ryan Elliott and all the folks at Tree Hugger are professional and know what they are doing. Today (3/11/25) the 4-person crew that came out was led by Parks Elliott, who like his Dad is a Certified Arborist. (Well, actually Ryan
is a Master Arborist, but the point is these two know what they are talking about when they assess your tree and make a recommendation.)
Watching the crew work today, it was evident that they are used to working as a crew and doing so in safety. Their clean up of my yard was meticulous.
If you are looking for someone to help you with your tree issues, look no further than Tree Hugger. There is a reason why they have all these outstanding reviews. They will help you. -
I just had Treehugger Tree Service prune our trees and I am beyond impressed! As certified arborists, they really know their stuff. Before scheduling, they took the time to come out and assess my trees and explain the best approach for the health and appearance.
I appreciated Cher's consultation and expertise. She even shot a video with detailed explanations for the crew. The team was professional, efficient and left our yard spotless. Out trees look amazing.
If you're looking for expert tree care, I highly recommend Treehugger Tree Service and when you call you will get to meet Shelly who is not only knowledgeable about trees, she does a stellar job of communicating expectations and seeing the project through to completion. Icing on the cake was when Cher gave me a follow-up call after service was finished to make sure all was done to my satisfaction.
It doesn't get better than this. -
Wonderful experience! From the first person I talked to on the phone, Shelly, to Cher, the arborist who came to our house, our experience was so positive. Shelly was compassionate, personable, and so helpful. Cher was so kind, informative, and educated us about what was going on with our tree. We discussed what was wrong with the tree, how to remedy it, and what the tree needs to stay healthy. Cher took her time with us and even explained things to my son. Outstanding customer service! I will be recommending yall to everyone I know who needs an arborist. Wonderful company and employees!

When a very large water oak reached the end of its life and was endangering power cables (and dropping limbs in the yard), I gathered quotes from three services. I really liked Cher, who handled our estimate, and was glad when Treehugger's quote was reasonable, to seal the deal.
Shelly the scheduler is personable and thoughtful, and when she called to reschedule our job (forecast of very wet weather meant endangering the crew), she did it in plenty of time for us to realign all the other moving parts involved in getting this sort of work done.
Then Ryan came with a skilled crew, right on time. They deployed to get backyard permissions from adjoining neighbors, helped us shift the camper trailer out of their way, and got to work. I swear I heard at least one "yee-hah!", and it was a joy to see a crew so dedicated and enthusiastic. All of them were friendly and open to questions.
As they finished tidying up after themselves, Ryan reviewed with me everything they had done. Then he unknowingly won a place in my heart by complimenting the big elm in our front yard. "I hope we get the chance to come back and climb up in there," he said with clear admiration. Well, Treehugger, based on this experience, I'm pretty sure you'll get that chance! -
Had a dead pine tree needing removal that was quite close to my house.
From the site survey by Cher, to the crew of lads led by R.J. that performed the removal, Treehugger was fast, efficient, friendly, and did an outstanding job.
Within about half an hour or so, they had cut most of the limbs off and brought the tree down under perfect control to ensure it touched nothing as it fell.
The lads ground the stump beautifully, despite it being quite close to my sidewalk, and filled in the hole.
Cleanup was executed flawlessly; after the crew was gone, the only evidence they had even been there was the absence of the pine tree- no debris at all.
I highly recommend TreeHugger for any tree needs you might have. -
Had an amazing experience with this company! As a new home owner, I was unsure on how to deal with several trees in the property. After the initial consultation, I had a clear plan of action on what needed to be done and received some great advice on trees I initially wanted to fully remove. When the workers came in, they came in ready, knew exactly what needed to be done and went above and beyond with their cleaning. The service was really amazing and their communication both in email and phone was top notch. I will definitely recommend and will continue to use their services.

I would recommend Treehugger Tree Service for tree jobs large & small! Ryan Elliott & his top notch team did a great job of cabling 3 trees that are within inches of the house & raising the tree canopy around the house in preparation for a new roof. They also left me the wood chips for mulch. Out of the of tree companies which bid on the project, Ryan, as a certified arborist, listened, analyzed the issues and provided the most robust, comprehensive solution.

Tree huggers cut down my maple tree in front yard that was dead and ground the stump. The workers cleaned up my yard of all debris. They are a professional and knowledgeable company. The work crew were all very nice and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend this company.

Treehuggers Tree Service hugged my trees yesterday and did an amazing job! Having so many aging pecan trees that have needed ongoing care is a task but I finally found a group that has the same philosophy as mine.
I have quite literally, and certainly not lately, climbed everyone of my pecan trees. I have lost five trees from storm damage in the past 10 years, and lost some major branches this time from the major pecan aphid outbreak last year. It breaks my heart to see them hurt, ill or damaged. That might sound stupid, but I quite literally grew up with these trees and can tell stories about each one. They are a part of our family.
Treehuggers Tree Service is owned by an arborist, Ryan Elliott, who will only trim for the health of the tree or if a limb falling will cause damage. The crew that came out were awesome - very thorough and respectful of my trees. It seemed they loved them as much as I do! I even have video of Parks checking a nest, to make sure it was empty, before cutting the branch.
And, as I am easily entertained, I enjoyed watching the "transformer" lift in action! It is the safest and least invasive for the trees.
A big thanks to them as I know my trees were loved in the process of pruning! -
Extremely satisfied with the work done by the Tree Hugger team today. They were friendly, professional, and meticulous in pruning my trees as well as thorough in cleanup.

Using Treehugger was a great choice. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgable, and did a great job. I have a 20 year old Crape Myrtle that had gotten bigger than my house. I wanted it trimmed back, but I did not want it cropped like so many poor crapes. They knew exactly what I meant, and didn't over prune my tree. They even gave me some advice about my Japanese Maple, which I will take, because we have had one die previously.
If you live in Arlington, or the surrounding area you should consider using Treehuggers. -
Cher, our arborist, was very good at assessing the health of our live oak trees and she made the appropriate recommendations for tree trimming and to improve their longevity. The crew did an excellent job trimming our trees to our satisfaction today. I highly recommend their work! Thank you!

I highly recommend Treehugger! They have helped me with multiple jobs now including a couple of time-sensitive Tree-mergencies lol. Ryan is excellent at problem solving and coming up with solutions that work with my budget. They work really fast and leave the site as clean as when they found it. You can tell maintaining great relationships with their clients is a core value for Treehugger.
