Home Services reviews in Arlington, Texas

My first time at this nursery and it was great! They had an amazing selection of well kept plants everything I looked at seemed very full and thriving. Entire row full of crotons, tons of ferns, succulents, fiddle leaf figs, sansaverias, standard and not so standard varieties. The staff was very attentive and offered help even though I was just browsing. Ended up buying a fern, a sharkfin sansaveria which I'd never seen in person, and a small rattlesnake callathea. Prices were decent if a little higher than I'm used to but the plant quality seems a bit higher too. So I was happy.

Bag of worm castings obviously had a $4.99 price label. Charged me $14.99 and I noticed the error when I got to my car. Came back and they don’t even acknowledge that the label was misprinted, only says it’s $14.99 pointing at the barely-there dot where the ‘1’ is supposed to be. How is anyone supposed to read anything other than “$4.99” from that? I returned it and it ticked me off the rest of way home. Cashier that checked me out doesn’t seem like she wanted to be there either.

Came on a whim to find some plants for our sons nursery and the assistant manager, Chad, was so helpful and personable! He gave us so many recommendations and tips since I lack a
green thumb. Very good experience! -
This place rocks! The order on line with them was fast simple and easy to pick up. Plants looked great. I didn't have to get out of my car. No personal contact is important to me now with Covid.

VERY VERY FRIENDLY. We were greeted very friendly right when we walked through the door and was greeted and assisted throughout our visit. Very clean store with fair prices. I will definitely be going back
Thanks Calloways for a great experience... -
Paula was extremely helpful and sweet. She was a flower expert. She educated us every step of the way since we are still fairly new to gardening. I highly recommend going here. All the staff were super friendly and pleasant.

One of the more expensive nurseries, but typically has better plants than most places. Never get Proven Winners, that brand is more Proven Death, those plants never last. Nice employees and a rewards program

JAMIE, Allied Manager/Store Supervisor and BRITTANY, Bedding Manager of Store 108 on Cooper Street In Arlington, TX, are both Professional, and Knowledgeable about Plants 🌿, Shrubs 🍃, Trees 🎄, and Vegetables 🍅.
They are also Kind, Courteous, Supportive, and always exhibit the highest level of "Customer Service" to me and others as Calloway's Customers. They always make me shop with a SMILE! ☺ -
I had the best time here! As soon as I walked in, Jacob helped me find a plant that would be good my living in my apartment! He helped me with instructions on my to care for my spider plant! I’ve never had a plant or ever had to take care of anything living. Jacob was awesome! On top of that, he even planted my baby spider plants for me in my pot. Great, great service!!

Excellent service and the plants are well cared for. Good selection of perennials and house plants, and excellent bedding plants and shrubs. They are a bit pricier than other nurseries. Plants are guaranteed though, and I was fully refunded for a tree that died several months after I planted it.

Wonderful staff. They are very informative, helpful, and patient. My plant that I purchased from here in July are still growing strong and healthy...which is a long time for me. I will be back.

Everyone in the store is so nice. They let you wander around and do your own thing, unless you need help then just ask. Calloways potting soil caused of my plants to grow 50% better as than miracle grow mulch soil , from Home Depot just about killed my plants. I would highly recommend the potting soil , especially if you're growing from seeds

Love this store, love their employees. Love the fact they are nice to me and to my son, even when he's a bit squirrelly. They are always so helpful, and unlike a couple of other Calloways that pretend I don't exist when I have politely waited my turn to ask for help, I actually feel welcomed in this store, which is why I do business with them sometimes up to 2-3 times a week.

I understand that everyone has their bad days and that sometimes the bad mood takes over their attitude but today was the worst experience. I usually never ever write a review but today was the absolute worst service . I felt as if I was judge for being Asian . Went to return a plant and bought some as well , the cashier (later to find out she was the manager) didn’t give me my old receipt when I had returned the plant; she said that it was hers too keep and that it wasn’t mine! But I gave it too her to confirm that I had bought it at this store. I didn’t want any trouble, I simply left and never coming back to this location . I use too call this my second home but not anymore . Wish I could give a zero star.

I enjoy gardening and Calloway's is my go to place for everything I need. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the variety is always a hit, and the price is always fair. Thanks for reliable customer service and products. I'll see you again, soon.

Went in today because we have been driving up here for soccer games the last four years. Curb appeal is great from the road. Walked in and everything was very well taken care of and looked nice…I was looking for a specific plant I was informed when I called that was there. If customer service is what you base your experience off, there is none. I walked out about 5 minutes after entering not getting any help. I was frustrated with lack of customer service.

A very helpful staff at this location. As soon as we walked in the store, a person asked us if we needed help. We wanted bluebonnets and they had them in stock. We wanted a Japanese maple tree and they had several different types and sizes in stock. The person helping us knew where everything was and helped us load everything on a cart. He then helped us take everything to our car and even put the Japanese maple tree in the car for us. They have soil and fertilizer for trees and fertilizer specially made for fruit trees. We have two lemon trees that we are trying not to kill. As for prices, you will pay more for larger trees no matter where you buy them. But their is a better chance they will survive because they are more mature. I highly recommend Calloway's Nursery for their customer service and their large selection of plants and trees.

The most beautiful 🪴 🌱 🌿 plants flowers 💐 😍

You can catch some pretty good deals on flowers but you're going to get reamed when it comes to soil, bushes, and trees. I like their selection of quality tools and accessories. Their living products are kept in excellent condition. There's no lack of friendly, helpful employees.

Poor customer service to some customers. Walked in on Sunday Sept 19, no one greeted me, not even a hello but did greet other customers after me with enthusiasm & offered to assist. Again today, needed help making a selection. Floor person was sent over. Asked 3 other ppl if they needed help as if I were invisible. Very consistent with the current social climate. I'll donate my gift card to someone who may feel more welcome.
