Elijah was my technician. Dryer vent was. Clogged from where it started through the drywall all the way to the roof vent. No air was measured escaping the vent and the back wall of the dryer measured 300 F, 49 year old house and this was its first cleaning. HomeSafe was professional, efficient, and thorough. Once cleaned out the dryer temperature returned to normal.

HomeSafe response was A1. A human answered my call, booked an appointment that fit my schedule. The service tech, Charlie, was polite, very professional, gave clear explanations, thorough inspection with recommendations, and left everything in the house and outside cleaner than he found it which surpassed my white gove test.

Jacob called to let us know that he was about 20 minutes from our house. He was on time and extremely courteous. He explained the inspection process and would discuss the charges after his inspection. He was very thorough and never made us feel pressured to do more than we were comfortable with. He was very personable and totally impressed us with his before and after vent pictures and dryer air flow readings. My wife was really impressed with the way he cleaned the area around the dryer. We would definitely recommend this business and Jacob for his honesty and professionalism.

We had a very good experience. The technician checked the dryer and the vent which terminates on our roof so he went into the attic. He also discovered that our washer hoses were cheap/inferior and old. He took lots of pictures and shared with me so I could see what he saw. He walked me through the things that didn’t need to be replaced or addressed, the things that he recommended doing at some point, and the things that needed immediate attention. I was able to determine what I wanted taken care of at this appt. Once he finished he showed me pictures and readings afterward so that I could see for myself how everything was resolved. Start to finish under two hours. Will use again.

I live in an apartment complex and my landlord wasn’t willing to help maintain or clean the clothes dryer that was in the unit. Thankfully HomeSafe came to the rescue! The technician was on time for the appointment, very courteous, and expertly identified the cause of my dryer problems. He even pulled the dryer completely out to clean behind it when I didn’t think that was possible, given the size of the apartment. I’m super satisfied with the service and quality that HomeSafe provided. They’re true professionals.

So obviously I picked this company because of the great reviews although they seems a bit high on their price. I wanted it done right, and the reviews told me they had to be the right guys for the job. My experience was mostly like the other reviews. The gentleman was nice, knowledgeable, professional, and capable of doing the job. I had confidence that the work would be done right. So your probably asking, why the 2 star review? I'm giving the 2 star review for price gouging. So it seems there is a varmint screen on my roof ventilation hood which was full. He mentioned he sees this a lot. I expected there to be a clog, else I wouldn't of made an appointment. The service tech showed me pictures of this and then told me it would be $75.00 to remove the varmint screen so he could conduct his cleaning! I'm sorry, but if you are working on a house where the dryer output escapes via a roof vent, you'd expect that roof vent will have some screw/nut/fastener which keeps out varmints and rain! He even showed me a picture of how simple this task was going to be! Unwilling to be taken advantage of, I pulled out a ladder, got on my own roof, unscrewed ONE nut, pulled the varmint screen off (with ease) and SAVED myself $75.00 in the matter of 2 minutes!. I literately looked at the tech and said, I know this isn't your call, you have a boss, but that was not worth $75.00. No matter what, he had to be on the roof to do the service! I know most of you don't want to get on your roof, nor did I, but $75.00 for a task at which the tech had to be on the roof for anyway is pure robbery. He had to clean the dryer vent from both sides else it wouldn't of been done correctly per his own statement. They did great on all parts, until I felt cheated. My bill was $205.00 for 60 mins of work. It would of been $285-290 real quick which is bogus. So obviously after that, every suggestion he made came with, is there a charge for that? I don't like to conduct business with last second fees unless its clearly unusual or extremely damaged, but the tech made it clear earlier, he sees this all the time. That means there are tons of suckers paying $75.00 for something that should be A PART OF THE SERVICE AND NOT AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

As stated by the owner, we spoke the night I wrote my review. REALLY nice guy who is trying to deliver a good service at a good price. He truly cares, we spoke for 30 mins...

We want to thank you for your outstanding work that you did in our home. When we were having trouble with our dryer collecting so much lint inside and in the filter we called you in to “unclog” our dryer vent.

After HomeSafe (Elijah’s) thorough exam of our problem, he let us know that the problem was much bigger than we thought. He traced the clogs in the system all the way up through our attic and showed us (with photos) that the whole system was clogged up due to a faulty vent in the attic. He showed me up in the attic the problem with that vent. He was able to fix that problem (I’m not sure if it had to be replaced or repaired). He subsequently blew out the entire system and checked/repaired all connections so that we will not have this problem again.
Our dryer is now working as good as new!
We will keep his contact information and certainly use HomeSafe again (if it ever becomes necessary.)

HomeSafe Dryer Vent Cleaning did a fantastic job!

I had left my dryer vent open for some time after birds pecked out the vent cover. Instead of immediately replacing it, I figured I would replace it "when I got around to it". Unfortunately for me, that was a poor decision on my part seeing as the birds that pecked out the vent cover then built a 6ft long nest of rotting vegetation in the vent. Thanks to HomeSafe a Technician came out the next day (after my new dryer communicated the problem to me of complete blockage) and fixed my problem. The Technician was very informative and helpful. I would recommend this company again in a heartbeat.

I was having an issue where the dryer lint from my drying was blowing into the attic. Also, I knew my dryer vent had never been cleaned in the 7 years I have lived in my house so I wanted to get it cleaned. The Technician (Virasay) was very professional and informative. He analyzed the situation and we discussed my options. He removed the screens on the roof vent. These screens were not original to the roof vent I have. Those screens had been placed there a few years ago by an exterminator who, at that time, thought it was an access point for rats to get into my attic. Since these screens were now causing lint to backup into my attic, we removed them. He explained to me that the roof vent I have on my house is not specifically designed to be used as a dryer vent. We discussed my options to replaced the roof vent which I am still considering. I also had him replace my Foil Flex dryer hose with an Aluminum Flex hose which seemed to be a much more safer and efficient hose. He did a great job cleaning my dryer vent and the before and after pictures and before and after air flow comparisons were great. I highly recommend this company.

I had a stuck vent cleaning brush that Justin was able to remove then clean the entire vent. Great and fast service! I would highly recommend them to anyone! I will definitely use them again.

Justin came out to help clean out our dryer vents. He was very knowledgeable about the parts of both the washer and dryer. He was able to clean out the ducts and did a great job. Would recommend.

I would highly recommend this company if you’re looking for a dryer vent cleaning. This was my first time using this company. But they by far exceeded my expectations. They were Very commutative. Charlie called approximately 15 to 20 minutes before he arrived, which was helpful for me to put my dog away. My main concern was the vent going to the outside of my house from my dryer. But Charlie went above and beyond and checked the heating element inside the dryer and make sure that was good, he also checked for any leakage in my washer hoses, checked the attic as well as the roof. He was able to spot the issue and got it fixed right away. He showed me pictures of everything along the way and the before and after pictures are amazing!! I had a nasty situation with the dryer vent. I had two other dryer vent companies come to inspect but they couldn’t resolve the issue. One recommended HomeSafe. I am so glad that they did. Ozzy showed up and thoroughly investigated the situation and presented two options. We decided to change the vent location and made the vent pipe from 21. Feet to 5 feet.
