I’ve made several attempts at getting Stephen Gaige to come out and look at the washer that he has already repaired, since it is back to its old ways of moving to the middle of the room during washing cycles.

Maybe the work isn’t covered under any type of warranty or guarantee, but it would be nice to have better communication. My last text (and video) to him was “read” but not responded to, and that was over a week ago.

This is the second time that I’ve given a low rating for his business. The first time came with a very quick response questioning concern over the low rating, so I removed the review with hope that I could finally get some help. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

I've had Stephen install a disposal and fix issues with my aging dishwasher twice. Both times he has been nothing but completely professional. I have never felt pressure from him nor did he ever try to up-sale me on things I didn't need. Always on time, and his workmanship was clean and well done. Will definitely use again in the future.

Thank you for fixing our washer! Our business cannot survive with a down washer as the dogs require constant fresh clean linens.

Friend of mine recommended him left him a voice message in the morning never heard back so I text him in the afternoon. “Are you still in the appliance business?”. His answer was yes, and that was it! he never called, Never return my call and never followed up with a text message. That has been my experience.

GAIGE APPLIANCE REPAIR service was excellent. The Technician patiently worked on the problem, explained the problem and how he plans to fix it. I would rate them five stars plus if I could. The technician was very courteous and took all safety/health precautions. The turnaround time to fix the dishwasher was amazing

Stephen came out to my home because my oven was not heating up. He had no problem figuring it out and he tried the most cost effective way to fix the oven first. Turned out that I would need a new part. The part was ordered and rescheduled a visit to install upon arrival of the part. Every contact with Stephen was a positive experience. Very professional, polite, considerate, knowledgeable and helpful, and seemingly just a real nice guy. I appreciated the continuous communication throughout the process. Knowing when he would arrive and being able to track his location and also working with my schedule so that it was convenient. This was a really great experience from start to finish. Thank you!

UPDATE: 10 months after posting a rosy 5-star review I reached out to Gaige Appliance Repair for another issue. Two calls not returned. I'm sad to report that I can no longer recommend Gaige as a reliable source for appliance repair.

I connected with Stephen through American Home Shield home warranty company (of which I'm no fan). Stephen is a breath of fresh air compared to some of the knuckleheads I've dealt with through American Home Shield. He did a terrific job communicating. I felt that he had absolute command of the repair throughout and he got the job done quickly. I've added Gaige Appliance Repair to my database as THE contact to call when I have an appliance issue.

I just got done with an amazingly courteous and professional house call for Gaige Appliance Repair. Stephen came by and immediately started to work on my leaking refrigerator. I was really surprised by how quickly he got the work done. Afterwards, he even helped me out by checking out a second broken appliance, my dryer. He gave me a few pointers on how to improve my efficiency and usage of it. Overall, I had a great experience and I would recommend Gaige Appliance Repair to anyone who needs to have their appliances fixed!

I have had varied experiences with different appliance service companies over the years. Most were what I would call "acceptable", but Gaige is a cut above. You expect expertise, promptness, and issue resolution, but these guys are quick to diagnose issues and set expectations up front on what to expect. They also communicate well with customers without talking down to them. I could not be happier with the service I have received from Gaige and will always be using them for my appliance repair needs.

I called Gaige to see if they could come out to take a look at my dryer that stopped working. The person on the phone was super friendly and asked some questions about the appliance and offered some solutions for me. It turns out, it was a super easy fix, and I just needed to order a new part.

I was able to fix it on my own. I appreciate the help that was provided and saving me a service fee. I will definitely be using this company for my business needs as well referring them to the neighborhood! Thanks again!!

We contacted Gaige regarding the broken ice machine in our fridge and, even though the issue couldn't be resolved, I was so impressed with their transparency, kindness and effort. We will definitely be contacting them for any other needs in the future and highly recommend them.
