Contractor reviews in Austin, Texas

We added a room to our house, The room was given final inspection in September of 2024. The room looks great and the process working with New edge was amazing! It is perfect for a sewing room as it can be closed off from the rest of these house, which is a good thing. Very happy with the results. Recommend them.

Excellent experience with Nick and the guys at New Edge. They did a bathroom remodel and their performance exceeded expectations. They arrived on the day they agreed to start and continuously worked until completion. As I was in the construction business myself (retired), I monitored the progress closely and all work was done according to the specifications. I would definitely use them again. Before and after photos included.

I had a great experience working with Nick and Itay from New Edge Renovation. They were responsive and punctual. They worked with me picking the materials and different styles that I wanted to go with and also accommodated the timelines that I needed the project to be finished by. Totally recommend them if you need a bathroom or floor remodel.

I can’t recommend New Edge highly enough! Their entire team is phenomenal — professional, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with from start to finish. They make every step of the process seamless, and their attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly stand out from the rest. From a personal and professional standpoint, they’ve set the bar incredibly high. They make you feel like you're their only client when working with you which is really tough to find in this industry. Showing up on time, having the highest levels of integrity and delivering incredible results- it's an easy 5/5 stars from me!

I can’t say enough good things about New Edge Renovation. It took me over a year and meetings with four different contractors to finally feel comfortable beginning two large projects. We renovated our primary bedroom closet, bathroom, and sitting area into a large and luxurious primary bathroom and closet. Then we renovated our kitchen with new appliances, lighting, backsplash, countertops, updated cabinets, and an enormous island with seating. Yaniv at New Edge Renovation was the only contractor who made me feel like he was excited to work on this project. From the day we met, he had a vision and design ideas that were exactly what I was looking for. Everyone else I had met with, wanted me to tell them exactly what I wanted them to do. Yaniv held my hand through the process, provided 3-D renderings so I could see exactly what it was going to look like, and went to Floor and Décor with me to compare and pick out all the bathroom materials. He was infinitely patient and helpful and helped bring a beautiful design aesthetic to both projects. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated within budget and time frame. His crews were professional, and he held them to the highest standards, making them re-do things that I might not have even noticed, but he did. New Edge Renovation was committed to exceeding our expectations and they succeeded. I highly recommend Yaniv and his team and can’t wait to start our next project together.

Great experience working with New Edge. Each team of workers dedicated to their craft was very knowledgeable and friendly. They delivered on the project promised and made sure it was to our specifications. I would recommend to any one looking for remodel services.

We trusted New Edge to do a complicated renovation of our upstairs home in NW Austin. We asked for them to build a laundry room where there was only a bi-fold closet. They had the vision to extend our media room 1.5 ft, move our hallway by 1 ft, borrow the closet space from the adjacent bedroom, and reconstruct a new closet. Moreover, they suggested removing a wall that made up a wasted storage space and making our media room significantly larger and more beautiful. They did the demo, floors, dry wall, and paint.

All of the contractors they used were professional and clean; I trusted all of them in my house. Plus Tomer and Yaniv did a fantastic job managing all the work so that we only had to make some small decisions here and there.

The pricing was fair and they were very easy to work with. I will use them again should something else come up!

We hired New Edge to remodel our home and it is the best decision we have ever made. We thought about selling because of how daunting a remodel is, but they truly took care of us and made it so easy to work with them. I am in awe of the finished product! I am beyond grateful to have found them. Nick is amazing!!!

Would 100% recommend Tomer & Team at New Edge renovation. We had previously done a nearly-full gut renovation with someone other than New Edge which was, in short, a disaster of a process and made me want to pull my hair out every day for a full year. So when it came time to do the last bit of work on our house, I was dreading it. However, finding and working with New Edge was a breath of fresh air!!! It's still construction, so there were some hiccups and slight delays but the team was professional, communicative, and always responsive. Plus, the work was executed beautifully. They did a full gut renovation on our primary bathroom, and fixed a lot of errors in another bathroom so that it now looks clean and crisp. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic experience with the New Edge Team for our first renovation. We started the glow-up for our little home with the master and 1/2 baths, and New Edge brought all the unique, non-standard must-haves we threw at them to life. Tomer and Nick were incredibly patient and flexible throughout the process, and the quality from their crew is worth everything - truly exceptional! We're genuinely thrilled with the results and grateful to have built a partnership with the New Edge team. Looking forward to tackling more projects in the future!

We recently completed a renovation of two full bathrooms and a powder room with New Edge Renovations, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was communicative, responsive, and incredibly respectful of our vision and our home.

We came in with our own design and materials, and they worked seamlessly with both, offering thoughtful feedback and making quick adjustments whenever needed. We chose to keep our original floors and vanities, and the crew went above and beyond to protect them throughout the process. Their attention to cleanliness and care was evident every single day.

Special shoutout to Juan, whose craftsmanship truly elevated our design. His precision and artistry brought our ideas to life in ways that exceeded our expectations. And Itay, the project manager, was consistently on top of every detail, checking in regularly and making sure we were happy at every stage.

Their pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality and care they delivered. We’re thrilled with the results and highly recommend New Edge Renovations.

New Edge Renovation was a great partner in completing my dream kitchen. Amit was a great project manager and was very flexible with my schedule and budget!

We had a great experience with New Edge Renovation in remodeling our bathroom. Amit Zohar, our Project Manager, was always available for consultation, recommendations and Juan and Raul did a fantastic job with their craftsmanship. We would definitely recommend New Edge Renovation for any future project. I've attached two pictures of our old bathroom then a few pictures of our new bathroom. Simply beautiful! Thank you New Edge Renovation, Amit, Juan and Raul! Vida Novickas

Highly recommend! I’m picky, and these folks exceeded all expectations. I was on a tight timeline and Brandon & crew really came through for me!

Mighty Handy also installed an exhaust/heater and installed the ductwork and roof vent. Very nice guys. Did a great job taking out older vinyl tiles and installing new ones. Weatherproofed door, traded out prior wall air conditioner with new one and framed/weatherize. Touch-up painted the room.

Brandon never finished our job. Took 5k up front. Bad business. It’s been a year! I did trust him for many jobs, but recently he fell short. Whatever is going on, I hope he gets back in his feet. No communication of when the job will be complete. Just lots of excuses. We hope to trust him again, but he does not respond with when the job will be completed.

I have used MightyHand several times around my house. Brandon and Tyler are extremely professional and very good at what they do. Brandon is quick to respond and will treat you like family. I highly recommend them for any house hold labor thay you come across.

Mighty Handy is great! We needed a few odds and ends done - some wallpaper installed and two chandeliers hung - one in in pretty high stairwell. First off, they were really reasonably and fairly priced - Brandon (the owner) shared upfront what their hourly was. Secondly, Tyler's (who was the lead handyman put on our jobs) attention to detail on the projects was great - he asked me questions as far as my preferences on the alignment of the wallpaper's pattern and on the chair-rail - things that I would not have known to consider had he not asked - so I felt I was in good hands and that he didn't view my ignorance as an excuse to just do a the job in the fastest or easiest way - so much as educated me on my options and his opinion on the best/right way. On that note, the "right way" relative to the special kind of wall paper meant that he had to spend a decent bit more time overall than Brandon had initially expected and quoted me for. With out having seen the wall paper in person, they had assumed the wallpaper was of a standard nature - but when they arrived and saw it they realized that it was a European brand that required more of an "intricate" approach then they had assumed it would. At the end of the job, Brandon the owner came to inspect the wok to ensure it met his standards as well as to make sure we were happy. He at that point explained that he was only going to charge me what he had originally estimated (vs. the total time it actually took) because he knew that none of us had realized how long it would take given the special nature of the wallpaper. I so appreciated that...especially given I have encountered contractors who have gotten half-way into a job they scoped and then expected us to pay for their mis-judgement of the scope of the work. So it was a refreshing for Brandon to have been so virtuous and "do the right thing." So in summary, the over all quality of customer service, craftsmanship and all-around business ethics make Mighty Handy a company I would not only work with again but would also highly recommend to others as well.
