We highly recommend Tomei Electric. Todd and Leo were able to sneak us into their schedule quickly (Todd was very communicative on availability/timing), they did a fantastic job installing a receptacle in the attic, and were fairly priced. We will certainly be using Tomei Electric again for any future needs.

Todd worked on multiple electrical projects (including rebuilding of outdoor panel, GFCI installation, light installation and adding a new 30A receptacle to my garage) at my house and I was impressed by his professionalism and expertise.

Todd was prompt in his response and arrived at our property on time. He took the time to thoroughly assess our needs, providing a quote that was reasonable, fair and transparent. Todd offered valuable insights and suggestions that helped us avoid unnecessary work that our home inspector had recommended, such as upgrading to AFCI, installing a ground conductor or grounding the gas supply meter. For each of these items, Todd showed us why the existing installation was sufficient for safety.

When it came time to execute the job, Todd's attention to detail was excellent. He worked diligently to ensure everything was done cleanly, just as he had set out on the project quote. Throughout the project, Todd was always willing to address any questions or concerns we had, demonstrating his commitment to customer satisfaction.

Overall, I can't recommend Todd highly enough. His professionalism, fairness, and dedication to his craft make him a standout electrician in my book. If you're looking for someone reliable and skilled for your electrical needs, Todd is definitely the one to call.

There were many electrical jobs to complete in the house (old house that was just purchased) and all were done with attention to detail and they took the time to explain each job. We recently had Todd & Leo install an ev charger, a dining room ceiling lamp, and an outlet behind the toilet for a bidet. They were super patient with our many questions, & the end result for all 3 projects look great. Todd was super communicative, punctual, & friendly. They managed to install everything without needing to create holes in the walls that we’d need to patch up, which we are super grateful for. They also helped us replace our bulbs & pin up the lamp to where we wanted it. Overall they seemed very knowledgeable & worked quickly to get everything done in a day. I had a great experience working with Will and his crew on my large remodeling project. It involved everything from updating the layout to an open floor plan, removing popcorn ceiling, drywall, paint, building a new deck, and plenty more.

HIRE THESE FOLKS, YESTERDAY! Do yourself that favor - I'm sure glad I did!! From custom book shelving, to Italian closet make ready (tearing out wingwalls and making it bigger), to incredible back splash with great POP, and some nuanced concrete shelving too, these folks are truly nailing it professionally. Which, if you know anything about General Contractors, that is not the norm (especially in Austin). Lily, my project manager was dogged and a consummate professional as well - big UPS TO HER (TOO)!! Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills from the whole firm. I had them do all my interior design construction work prior to moving into my new dream condo in the Independent in downtown. They are super folks too, nuff said. (see my first line)

I couldn’t be happier with the work Skelly has done, and I am ordinarily very demanding. Skelly’s contractors are all top-notch, and our project manager, Lily Harpham, is a gem – always on top of things and possessed of broad knowledge and sound judgment. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them to others.

Lily was exceptional to work with in every aspect. She was incredibly professional, supportive, insightful, and solution-focused. Even with the standard unforeseen issues that pop up during renovation, she offered her honest opinions and many different avenues to explore. She is transparent and present throughout each step in the process. She follows through and is highly communicative. Also, she’s just a joy to talk to and be around!

If I could give Skelly Home 10 stars out of 5 I would! This is such an incredible company, and I've never had a better experience with construction or renovations in my entire life- don't walk, RUN to hire them!!

We hired Skelly Home in December 2020 to completely renovate two bathrooms and do work on the front exterior of our home. From the very beginning, Skelly Home put me at ease and made the process seamless. Diana was so responsive from the initial inquiry, answering all my questions, including being very quick with getting me an estimate which I really appreciated. It's nearly impossible to find someone that's so wonderful and prompt from the building world, and it's such a reflection of how she runs this amazing company. Then, when contracts were signed, Alex made the permit process beyond smooth (which I know can be a nightmare for many people in Austin!) so that we could start demo right on time and renovations could stay on schedule.

Once the construction process began, that's where the real magic started. Our PM, Lily, is truly a GEM and I cannot recommend her enough. She was so communicative and incredible at walking us through the entire process, sending us updates all the time and scheduling walkthroughs often for us to see the progress since we were living in a temporary rental during construction. I've never met someone in building that is so detail-oriented and cares the way she does. I truly felt a sense of complete trust with her- and that if there was anything that came up (which always does when you are renovating an older home) she would have the solutions and lead us in the right direction. I knew from the moment demo happened we were in the best hands with her!

The final product brought TEARS to my eyes- the work wasn't just good, it was absolutely extraordinary. Skelly Home only works with contractors that are experts in their field, and every tile laid, all plumbing, cabinetry, paint, etc. was flawless. I still can't believe this is our home, it feels like we are living in a beautiful hotel! While the renovation process can be daunting, Skelly Home is very special and stands out amongst a sea of mediocrity- you can't do better than this wonderful team!

We have done structural engineering design for Skelly on multiple projects and we have been absolutely impressed with their professionalism, quality of work and finished product. You cannot go wrong with selecting them as the contractor for your project!

I used Skelly Build for a large kitchen and 5-bathroom remodel of my 1889 historic house. They did a great job, were very communicative, and kept to the schedule. More importantly though, there was something that went wrong, but the problem didn't manifest for over a year. Nonetheless, they immediately took responsibility and came out and fixed the problem which involved a total rebuild and retile of a shower pan. That is the kind of ethics that I really appreciate.

Working with Skelley went above and beyond our expectations. We were out of state went they did our renovation, and they did an amazing job, worked seamlessly with our designer and kept us very informed. Our house sold the first day it was on the market, and we have no doubt it sold so fast because of the amazing job Skelley did with the renovation. I’m sad we didn’t get to live in our house after the work they did, and that they aren’t in Denver to remodel our new home!

You do pay a premium to work with Skelly, but if you want a seamless, top of the line, communicative contractor with great taste, pick them!

Diana and her team are simply put, wonderful. They were clear throughout the project on timelines and scope and utilized a software tool that would communicate if things changed or what was on the schedule for that day, giving me clear line of sight into the plan and activity. We have two kids under the age of five and lived without a kitchen for three months and the Skelly team was incredibly supportive and tried to make the work as least disruptive as possible. Izzy was our project manager and was an absolute pleasure to work with - she was always calm, reassuring, and attentive. Highly recommend the Skelly team and I hope to use them for projects in the future!

An incredible home renovation experience is almost unheard of - and yet, that is what my family and I got when we worked with Skelly Build on our home renovation project. I recently hired Skelly Build to execute a gut renovation of my condo in downtown Austin. Home renovations are stressful and too often frustrating, but the Skelly Build team did all they could to ensure a smooth and generally stress free process, all while delivering a top quality product that more than met my expectations.
