Contractor reviews in Austin, Texas

Uziel’s crew showed up ahead of schedule and did an amazing job. They were professional and got right to work. They were very respectful of our home. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Renaissance contracting. They built an outdoor kitchen, which was extended from my house that just came out beautiful. It is such an awesome set up. Not only did they build it, Anthony is the one who came up with the idea and now we just love it.

fter a weekend out of town and returning to a flooded bathroom/master bedroom, Renaissance came to the rescue with their after hours water mitigation team. We renovated our old master bathroom and were amazed by the professionalism, the great communication and attention to details!

Everybody in the team was knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant to work with. The pictures do not do justice to the renovation. From the colors the the lighting, everything exceeded my expectations. The venetian plaster on the walls was an excellent choice

I normally don't write reviews, but when we came home for work one evening to discover that a water line had busted in our master bath, that was now flooded. I recalled a conversation I had a couple of weeks with a friend who had just completed some work by Renaissance Contracting.

I can not say enough good things about the team from the project manager to the employees. They all carried themselves professionally and with the up most respect to my property. They were able to complete the remodel in a timely manner and stay within budget, and the shower came out better than we expected.

We will most definitely be using Renaissance Contracting for any upcoming projects around the house, and I would recommend them to anyone who need any work done.

I can't speak highly enough of Renaissance contracting or of Tristan. They came in with a mess for home, after a mold remediation had removed flooring, drywall and had caused extensive repairs to be needed.

Tristan's team worked throughout the holiday season to get us back into the house as fast as possible. I always had timely responses to items, and if an unforseen issue arose I always received all the options and details to resolve it.

Now our home is 10x better than it was before the mold. We can't thank them enough!

Renaissance Contracting helped us do a major remodel. Flooring and updating 3 baths. They did a fantastic job! Very easy to work with and they worked around our schedule. Big shout out to Tristan and Dave for all the great advice and help. Everyone was very nice and professional. We highly recommend them!

I cannot speak highly enough of Renaissance Contracting! They helped put the rest of our home back together after we experienced a nightmare remodel where the contractor abandoned us. From Tristan helping design and bid our vision, to the owner, Anthony, and builder, David, coming in to consult along with Tristan to ensure our vision and wants would come to fruition without hiccups, to top notch skilled workers (electricians, plumbers, cabinet installers, carpenter, sheetrock/texture/painter crews, tile layers), to Uziel installing specialty LED smart accent lighting, to Irving and Sergio coming in to complete our punch list at the end to finalize our project, we could not be more pleased with our experience with Renaissance. They made sure every single point of our project was to our liking. They even made sure our project was mostly completed in a short amount of time for the holidays (they knew we were expecting a lot of family to come in from out of town). They made it happen! They took the best of care of us! They were always responsive to our every need! Renaissance are true professionals!
See before and after pictures uploaded of their beautiful work!

We loved the results of our two bathroom remodels. They were sure to make sure every detail and concern was taken care of. Tristan was very helpful and responsive, and all of the subcontractors were very respectful of our home and our time.

We had a few surprise issues pop up during the project and they were swift and friendly in fixing things.

We’re now in the process of using Renaissance again for our primary bathroom remodel!

Update: our Primary Bathroom remodel is now complete and we are so happy with the results!

After they installed Hardie Board and painted last summer, I noticed the shutter paint peeling about six months later. I called them up, and they came out to repair the issue at no charge. Because they stood behind their warranty so professionally, I would definitely trust them with more work.

I have worked with this general contractor on several projects that range from small tenant improvements to large new construction jobs. They are punctual, knowledgeable, communicate well, and a pleasure to work with. I believe they are going to make a big splash in the construction industry.

Very dependable, on time, on budget and competitive in pricing

John and his team under-promise and over-deliver - and they do it on-time. Highly recommend!

I had a special request to have an electric lift to get the Top off my Jeep Wrangler. They did a great job and price. One click....and done.

John and Nick are awesome. They are so nice to communicate and discuss. They will think for you. As a customer, I 100% recommend CapEx . They are absolutely fantastic.

The Capex Team rebuilt my backyard area including a huge 8 foot privacy fence, boat lot and more. These guys were incredible - honest, professional, on-time and made sure the job was done right. Really great people, they have my business going forward.

I hired CapEx Construction for a commercial build-out on a pre-existing space and was very impressed. The communication with the owner was wonderful, the job was completed as promised, and the work was top notch. From demo to finished product, CapEx Construction exceeded my expectations. Overall, my experience with this contractor was very positive.

John and team did a fantastic job on our accent tile wall with mantel in our home. We were blown away and love the results! It truly gives our home the wow factor we were looking for. If you want a professional and hardworking contractor then call CapEx Construction!

CapEx was referred to us by a trusted friend to make some repairs to our home and paint the entire interior (4,300 sq. ft.). The job Michael Limon and his crew did was phenomenal. The paint on walls, trim, ceilings, closets, etc. was done meticulously. I would refer CapEx to anyone seeking a contractor for any type of work.

John and his team is a group of artists. He did a superb job in designing and constructing my pergola. Definitely recommend him for any construction job.

CapEx team is the best in their trade. From start of the project John discussed all nitty gritties from planning, architecture, budget, timelines & execution till getting CO. Nick, Brett execute the plan flawless within compliance. Alteration, adjustment, adoption Nick is the best. We had great experience through out the project. We will be definitely considering them for our next project.

We chose CapEx Construction to build out our Happy Lemon business, a boba/smoothie store concept. After considering different construction companies, we decided on CapEx because they were within our budget and professional. John was always responsive to our questions and concerns during our whole process, which was one of the factors that made CapEx a right fit for our needs. His partner, Nick, worked on-site at the location everyday and was able to answer our questions and pivot to the several changes our concept went through. Nick made sure every detail of our store looked perfect and found unique solutions to each problem that came up. CapEx entire team with Eivin, Gustavo, Nelson and more were always working diligently throughout the whole construction phase of our store, making sure things go as planned. They even built our bar tables from scratch and it looks amazing! CapEx always went above and beyond our expectations and we are very satisfied with the quality of work they brought for our finish out. They basically built our store from the ground up and took care of all the city permitting and inspections. I would not hesitate to consider CapEx Construction for my future projects and designs.
