I had an emergency last month and called these guys out of the phone book. I have never needed an electrician before, but I was pleased with the urgency they handled my request with. My power went out and they were there within a couple of hours. I would definitely use them again and also recommend them.

This is the note I wrote to Dial One....

Dial One Team:

Just wanted to send a note of appreciation for the GREAT service I have received from Dial One --- all the way from the receptionist to the person that came out and checked my problem (I think his name was Linn).

I couldn’t be more satisfied, as the repair did not cost me any $$$. Linn contacted Austin Energy and the customer service department took care of the problem. While you didn’t make any money from this transaction, rest assure that you have built trust and a lasting relationship.

I just got off the phone with the Tybray Property management, who manages the HOA in my complex. I’ve shared my story and your contact info. Tybray was very happy that issue was resolved and said they would keep you on the short list of contractors for future electrical requirements, etc. I hope you get a lot of business through them as they have large presence in Austin.

Also, I will be sure to refer you to my family and friends.

Jaime Gonzales with Dial One Electrical Services came by the office to do electrical repair to our lights. Jaime Gonzales was professional, polite and knowledgeable. We had called other companies that did not show up or call. We will use Dial One Electrical Services in the future when we need something done. From the office call to the having the representative come to our office this job was handled professionally and prompt.

I needed several lighting upgrades i wanted in my condo and they did everything i asked for perfectly and without making a big mess or destroying my new place. The guys who worked on my wall sconces etc were very knowledgeable . I plan on calling them soon again.

Technician arrived early for the appointment and quickly
diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue at a reasonable price. Will definitely use Dial One again.

They installed a chandelier with dimmer switch. We called to say the switch was very hot. Electrician said it is probably a bad dimmer switch. Since we purchased it he would not do anything. We have tried several other switches but it is still not working. They refused to install one fixture because the ceiling was too high. The other fixture was not installed correctly and looks like it is falling down. Very disappointed especially because it cost me almost $600. Electrician did not know what he was doing. Very rude!

I have used Dial One Electrical for years now on many projects. They have done small jobs such as change out light fixtures, added a phone line and ran power out to my pond. They also did a big home addition project including not only the electrical portion but they ran the data and cable lines as well. The technicians have always been very professional and knowledgeable and the prices have always been very fair ( not to mention my senior citizen discount they offer ). I will definitely be using them again and would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great experienced electrician.

Dial One Showed up promptly and took care of our issues. They made the process simple, and did great work!

We had a main breaker issue which kept tripping. I contacted Dial One Electrical services multiple times. Eric helped answer all my questions and he is very patient during the process. They were also able to find the electrician to come to help us with very a short notice. Overall very happy.

GFI outlets and breaker identified issue and resolved quickly. Arrived on time, communicated well and professionally, identified issues and cleared up quickly. Will return with new fan needed to finalize services. Appreciated calm, patient and thorough demeanor of Jamie the technician.

The team from Dial One is the best I have ever worked with. I have an additional project for them and will be calling them soon to schedule the service.

Ok here is the scoop. Called several electric companies to do some work for me, actually change all the old lights and put new ones. I cannot say how happy and satisfied I was with their service, from the receptionist Tina to Tom for the estimate and Eric for prompt communication, not leaving out Clayton who installed the lights with the help of Tom.
One thing which is very important to me is doing the work on time as it was during operating hours.
I would recommend Dial One any time.

THE UPS STORE # 2344

TERRIBLE!!!!! They were the fastest to respond to my email inquiry for a fairly decent sized job. The guy they sent out quoted about $576 for the job and I gave the go ahead. The scheduler, Tracy (I think it was) called to set the work date and left a message that it would be the following week, about 7 days out and for me to call back to confirm. I called back and Tracy was not there but the fellow I spoke with confirmed the Thursday first call appointment. We even discussed how since they're right down the road from my house that they should get to my home by 8:30am.
On Thursday around 9am, after having taken time off work to be home, I decide to call them to find out if they are running behind. Tracy informs me I never called back to confirm; I told her I did and she very nonchalantly stated, "well he didn't tell me". She then said the earliest they could reschedule the job was for 3 days later. I just told her to cancel the job.
I was astounded at her nonchalant attitude, not even any offer to try and check with one of their tech's whether they might break free to do even part of the job. Any responsible, courteous, customer caring company would have at least tried that, or offered some sort of discount on the proposed bid.
If they have a Don't Care attitude before the work is even started, imagine how shoddy the actual work must be.

Brian was on time, knowledgeable, efficient, neat, and pleasant to work with. Look forward to working with him again on my APRIL Project.

Dial One helped us out with several electrical repairs recently and did a great job. The electrician (Moses) was prompt and friendly. He found the problems with our outlets and switches, fixed them, and even fixed our disposer when it stopped working. Highly recommend them!!

Very accurate and patient technician. He did a great job in replacing three outlets with update GFCI. Perhaps a bit too accurate: It took 4 hours to replace them for a total cost of $480. Seems a bit pricey for a relatively straightforward job and I was not given an estimate ahead of time. I don't think I will call them again.

These guys are frankly the best in the business!! Very timely, prompt and friendly. Jaime came by and quickly tended to all my requests which included swapping switches, installing a light fixture and helping to raise a chandelier. Highly recommend!!

Jaime G. was absolutely fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable, polite, and above all patient with questions! We were tripping breakers during normal afternoon/evening use. He walked through troubleshooting, figured out our issue, and was able to get our main breaker switched out all in one go.

Who knew that geckos could fit into a gap the size of a pencil and then into the business side of a 60A breaker? I sure didn't.

I cannot put into words how happy I am with the service provided by DialOne. The electrician, Tom, was extremely thorough and did a fantastic job in diagnosing and resolving our electrical problems. He found issues that 2 other well-respected electricians couldn't find. All of the work was done at what I consider a fair price, as well. I would highly recommend them!

Over the years Dial One has installed an outdoor plug, installed a ceiling fan, and corrected a ground fault reset switch. They were always on-time and did excellent work, with quality parts.
