Peter was so helpful as he worked through our electrical issue. He was detail oriented in his approach, and didn’t miss an opportunity to teach my wife and I whenever possible. I had Mr. Electric install a whole-house surge protector a while back, and I cannot express how grateful I am that I made that decision. A lightning strike hit a power pole right outside my window last night. It was loud, bright, and genuinely terrifying. The surge was powerful enough to snap the line in the street. But thanks to the surge protection system Mr. Electric installed, I was reassured that my home and electronics were completely protected. The device in my garage still showed a green light afterward, which means it worked as designed. Their work was professional, efficient, and clearly high quality. In a moment of real danger, I saw just how important it was to have this system in place. Highly recommend them for anyone wanting peace of mind when it comes to home electrical safety, especially with the recent storms we have been experiencing.

Zack did an amazing job installing a power outlet in one of our attic/storage area. He did a free inspection of our electrical system and provided us with some valuable feedback. Definitely recommend him and MrElectric for any electrical needs.

Zach and Calvin listened to my electrical issue and did their complimentary safety check. Respectful of my home, they used shoe covers. They presented the estimate that pointed out the recommendations and were never pushy or upsell anything else. They were honest. I had one of the breakers upgraded and installed a surge protector.

Our experience with Joe was outstanding. He responded to our request for electrical help quickly and was able to fit us in the same day. He provided us with a complete survey of the electrical needs of our home but did not pressure us to do more than we had requested to solve the immediate problem. He explained everything in great detail but in simple terms we could understand. He promptly completed the work we agreed on and explained exactly what he had done.
I will definitely call him again and will be working on the problems he suggested we take care of to increase our home safety and efficiency.

Zack from Mr Electric was professional, courteous, helpful, and provided quality work for installing our generator inlet. He walked us through how to use it when he was finished and included written directions for us to keep! He also helped us figure out what cord and adapter to buy. Would definitely use them again.

RESTORATION HARDWARE - 2 Helix chandelier installation - 300lbs each.

I initially had an engagement with another company who were at my house on and off for 6 weeks (yes 6 weeks!) . They never completed the installation. I was left with open wires in my attic and the cost of expensive equipment recommended by them.I was about to return the chandeliers and made a call to Mr. Electric as a last resort.

Mr Electric completed the installation in under 2 days.

I had a fire spark in my living room switch and Noble was able to meet with me within an hour of calling. He was friendly, informative, and did a great job redoing the electrical wires as well as changing out the switch. I will definitely use them for future projects!

Max from Mr. Electric came out and did an amazing job with the work at my house. He asked clarifying questions to make sure my needs were thoroughly met. I got multiple quotes before starting the work and went with Max because he took the time to understand the problem, every other company just wanted to do the assessment without my input, hand me a quote and leave.

Max literally found the amperage rating for each of my tools before making suggestions. 👏👏👏

Douglas at Mr. Electric was incredibly thorough in diagnosing the issue and did a full check of the electrical system. I was so grateful that repairs could be made the same day. He was very professional, respectful and courteous.

From Frustration to Appreciation – They Made It Right

My first two experiences with Mr. Electric were very frustrating. I booked an appointment for Thursday (1–5 PM), took the day off, and at 3 PM got a call saying they had to cancel. I was never told upfront that if their earlier jobs ran long, mine could be dropped. I gave them a second chance Monday (8–9 AM). At 7:30 AM, I got a text saying the electrician was on the way, but by 9 AM no one showed. I called and was told he was still at the shop picking up a ladder with no clear ETA. We had to cancel again. At that point, I regretted calling them.

Here’s where things turned around: after my review, Paul (the district manager) personally called me. He was sincere, apologetic, and offered to send a team out at no cost. A couple of weeks later, Zach (team lead), Calvin Deardorff, and his crew came out. They were professional, polite, and went above and beyond. They installed two ceiling lights instead of one, checked my electrical boxes, and even inspected the attic for issues with my outdoor light.

When one of my fixtures turned out to be cracked, Zach followed up personally and scheduled a second visit. Calvin and his team showed up again, right before a storm, to finish the job.

In the end, the team completely turned my opinion around. While the scheduling was rough at first, the way Paul, Zach, and Calvin handled things afterward showed me this company values its customers. They’ve earned my business going forward.

I had an issue with the pricing, but Connie and Paul contacted me and they were supremely concerned and worked it out to a satisfactory resolution.
