We recently had surround sound system and security cameras installed, and while we did run into several issues with the setup and equipment, I have to give this company a lot of credit. They were thorough, responsive, and genuinely committed to making things right. Every time a problem came up, they quickly sent someone out to troubleshoot and fix it—often upgrading components to ensure everything worked the way it should. Their dedication to follow-through and customer satisfaction really stood out. Highly recommend for their service and integrity.

We recently used Austin Home Systems to upgrade our outdated home automation system. I am very happy with the results. The crew was very professional and friendly, communicating each day where the project stood. I appreciate that they used as much of my old legacy equipment as they could. I will certainly use this company again for future projects.

We have been using AHS for many years now, they took over a system someone else installed for us and cleaned up a lot of problems we were having. They are fantastic to work with, always very responsive and knowledgeable. We have updated various versions of equipment or tv providers and they are always there to support our changes. Zac is usually our guy and he does a fantastic job of helping us not too tech savvy people to understand how to achieve what we want. We also use Jake from their electrical division because we have been so impressed with AHS level of service. Very highly recommend AHS!

Randal and the leadership team has always done a fantastic job of standing behind their work and making sure customer satisfaction comes first. After the tech team identified an installation issue from years earlier the team promptly came up with a solution to the problem and our system was functioning as intended within days. I also would like to say that the entire service and installation teams are top notch and always make sure we understand how to operate our entire system.

AHS carried out a service call today to address issues with our TV system and bedroom switches controlling lights and shades.
Zac was respectful, positive and highly competent. He fixed each of our problems and explained everything in terms I could easily understand.
I also appreciate that AHS prioritizes existing customers, even though it had been 5 years since our home automation was originally installed. The entire service call process was effective and efficient.

We’ve been customers of AHS since the initial installation of our Control4 smart home. Recently a component in the system failed, Jared diagnosed the issue last week and installed/tested/validated that everything was working during today’s (1/28/26) service call. Jared was friendly, efficient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend AHS and Jared!

OK, I’ll have to admit, turning my newly purchased home over to complete strangers to create a new Theatre room was very scarry! But the great people at Austin Home systems took the challenge with great advice and responsibility for every decision that had to be made. I’ve always said that companies are only as good as their contractors, well AHS has a great field of dedicated individuals for all the work that needs to be done! Be it Electrical, Mechanical, Painting, plumbing, Low Voltage Wiring, programming, etc., they have people that will do a great job at a reasonable price and finish the job to your expectations. The in-house people they employ are also top notch, demoing everything, reviewing specifications and eventually selling you what you need without up sale pressure. Once everything is completed, they will continue to check in and make sure all is well with the systems.
