Had a great experience and service from Austin Tree Surgeons. Really appreciate the arborist coming out on the day of the service and the work done by the team. The price for the service was also very reasonable.

Edit: they did reach out to try and make it right - offering $50 for a new plant or fertilizer. But, a 10 year old plant is not so easily remedied.

This is the second time I’ve used these folks. The first time was to remove some sorrel that had taken over. This time I asked them trim up to large oaks in the front yard. Unfortunately, the trees now both look wonky and not cohesive at all, and the workers stomped the pineapple guava snapping well over half of it off. I’m afraid I’m going to have to find another company to tend to my trees in the future.

A tree guy showed the problem with my tree and wanted me to chop the tree down. I contacted Austin Tree Surgeons. Jessica explained squirrels were gnawing on my tree and because my tree is mature it would not be harmed. I didn't want to lose my 29 year old tree. Thanks so much Jessica!

While the price was reasonable and the outcome was fair, I would have preferred that a certified arborist was on site to direct the crew. The arborist came out to provide the estimate, but translating what we agreed upon wasn't provided to the crew.

After getting quotes and/or work done by several tree companies that did a poor job, gave me incorrect information, or overcharged, I was thrilled to find Austin Tree Surgeons. They are honest, fair, professional, and highly knowledgeable about trees! They truly care and are good at what they do. It is actually amazing that much worse tree companies in Austin are charging much higher prices! Beware of the scammers out there. Austin Tree Surgeons is the real deal.

My yard feels like a theme park now. They did an excellent job sculpting the trees like art and addressed the cuts with a seal. I am extremely happy with how my yard looks now. Thank you, I would recommend to anyone looking to clear your roof as to prevent any damage.

I’m extremely pleased with the expediency, care and quality of Austin Tree Surgeons recently with the removal and cleanup of some large broken branches. They are repeat tree experts and I will use them again if needed!

This crew of 4 men worked together incredibly well to bring down a large oak that had been struck by lightning. It was amazing to see how they guided the limbs down so that they missed landing on fencing/plants. Not easy, I'm sure! The team made sure all was in order before they left. Pricilla came out and looked at our three dead and dying elderberry trees. Previously a diseased 50’ limb had fallen on our roof creating quite a bit of damage. That said, my wife and I determined they had to go. These trees were very old with lots of mature growth. Pricilla gave us a quote and mentioned that they would handle the permitting process with the city as well.
I received numerous updates, confirmations, and reminders via text and email of our pending day of removal. ATS has a very on point method of communication. True to their word, Byron and his crew of three workers showed up at the designated time of 8am on the promised day. They went straight to work and didn’t stop until 7pm that night.
They were professional, courteous, and very fast. We couldn’t believe that they could tackle such a huge job in a single day.
When they were finished, they made sure to sweep, rake, and leaf blow the entire area including our sloped roof and our neighbors yard. We received other bids and nobody even came close to their price and level of service.
We highly recommend Austin Tree Surgeons for our tree removal needs. Definitely a 5 star company all the way. We are very satisfied.

Andrew the technician disclosed everything about the process. Everything from what wheel marks the machine would make to the debris produced. Assisted in clearing a path to helping me put up extra "debris guards". He took his time and did a good job

You get what you pay for, and Austin Tree Surgeons is worth every penny. No, it's not cheap service. But it's service done correctly-which is important when caring for your trees! We have 7 mature trees on our property and all of them had dead weight from the storm a couple of years ago (the previous homeowner didn't have them taken care of). Paul came out and did the assessment, and then the crew came out 2 mornings later and did a thorough and professional job of ensuring the tree branches were cut back from the roof line and that each tree had the best shape and was in prime condition for growth. They were efficient and thorough, and checked in to ensure I was happy with the work before they left.

Great service all around. The arborist understood my needs and my trees. The crew that did the trimming were professional, efficient, and obviously experienced at their work. I love that they knew about oak trees and took care to seal the cuts. They did a good job and left my yard neat and clean. Everything looks great. I will use this company again!

I contacted a couple of tree service companies to trim the 5 trees on my property. Austin Tree Surgeons responded promptly. They also provided a professional detailed proposal of the services to be performed that ended up being my deciding factor as the pricing was very consistent across contacted providers. Scheduling was easy and a team was sent out the next day to perform the work. Alerts regarding arrival time were sent, and the crew arrived on time. Communication with the team was very good, they were careful and attentive. The work was performed quickly and professionally. All debris was hauled off, and cleaned up down to the smallest twigs. I would gladly recommend their services to my neighbors and anyone else. And my trees look fantastic!
