I've been using West Austin Trees for a few years and they have always been very patient with all my questions and take real good care of my mom's house. They are honest and professional.

Hi, I just wanted to say that their service was excellent and very professional. The staff was all so courteous as well!

I received 6 quotes for this job. Two large trees approximately 60ft tall, spanning over mine and my neighbor's property and home. I really had no idea the magnitude of these two old-growth redwoods until I did some research!

Although they weren't the cheapest option, their knowledge made them highly recommended.

Cesar and his crew took care of some serious broken tree limbs hanging over my house. I've worked with several tree trimming companies and they have been the best by far.

Cesar’s truck pulled out of a parking lot directly in front of my car causing me to have to slam on my brakes and swing into the other lane to avoid a collision. I pointed toward my car’s hood to indicate the driver should pay more attention to vehicles around him and not drive unsafely, especially when there were no cars behind me and he could have just waited five seconds until my car passed him. The driver then proceeded to speed up and follow me for the next few miles, changing lanes to get behind me whenever I changed lanes and following closely. If employees (or owners?) care so little about safety of other drivers, I can’t imagine they would provide the best quality service for lawn care. .

These guys did a fantastic job cleaning up our oak trees and removing all the scrub brush from our newly purchased property in East Austin. Hauled all the debris away!

Called Chico in the morning for an emergency when a tree fell onto the roof of our business. He was there later that day and they knocked it out for us quick and clean! He helped us get in touch with the neighbor condo complex and informed them of what was happening and recommended what they should do afterwards. Professional, courteous, etc. glad I stumbled across his name, we highly recommend Chico, and we will be using him again in the future! Thanks Chico!

Chico’s Tree Service is OUTSTANDING! Not only were they priced fairly they were quick, efficient, and easy to get a hold of. They were extremely knowledgeable on the types of trees we had and what needed to be done to take care of them or remove them from our yard. Wow! When I called Chicos Tree Love & Care Chico himself answered the phone and was at my business within the hour to remove a large dangerous tree limb that was shutting down part of our restaurant patio. Chico and his crew did an outstanding job trimming all of our trees (front and back). Both yards look so much brighter now without the constant shade. Chico was extremely knowledgeable; he talked us through what would be best for the trees we have and helped with ideas for additional trees that would be good in our front and back yards. Chico responded very quickly to an inquiry about a difficult job involving the removal of several large branches of a cedar elm tree that had fallen on our roof. He assessed the job, carefully explained the technical issues and how he was going to do it, gave a very fair price, and was able to come out with his crew the following week. The challenging work involved some careful planning and maneuvering which Chico and his crew pulled off beautifully. They cleaned up all the fallen branches and limbs, evened off the main trunk, and, in general, gave us great confidence that they knew what they were doing every step along the way -- they'll be our choice next time we need tree work done.

I appreciated that we consulted first and made a clear plan for the work Chico's was going to do. When the crew arrived, they were on time, on task, and did a great job with everything from the climbing and cutting to clean-up and haul-off. This level of competence and service at such reasonable rates seems unheard of. I'll give them my business again and again.

Chico and his team were wonderful. We had to have two 40+ ft Red Oak trees taken down that had died. His quote came in much lower than every other arborist we called, and his price is by the hour. The job took less time than he quoted, by almost half, and he stuck to the per hour cost. He was professional, kind, quick, safe, and importantly his team worked great with him. I would highly recommend calling Chico, and plan to use him for our arborist needs going forward.

Chico and his team did an excellent job trimming our trees. Chico is a knowledgable arborist, who pointed out limbs we needed to cut right away versus ones we should keep an eye on in the future. His team was kind, professional, and efficient.

I unfortunately had an 82 year old Post Oak tree that had to come down. Here is my experience and why I'd recommend Chico and his crew. The initial call was answered, he was quick on text message responses and cost was in my opinion very fairly priced. As for the actual job, he updated me the day before and showed up the next morning when promised and the efficiency of his crew was evident from spot watching the methodology of the tree surgery. Even as the process went along Chico was great about answering questions. At the end of the process Chico was even nice enough to cut up a large trunk so my neighbor could make some cutting boards for the handful of neighbors that were entertained by this process. In short, hire him and when he shows up grab yourself some coffee and watch the process for an hour, very entertaining. 5 stars should be a rare review but he deserves it.

My friend told me about a tree company that did there tree work, saying they were friendly and courteous and did a good job...the company was Chico’s Tree Service. I called and made an appointment and CHICO came to discuss the job. We walked the property and discussed what I wanted done. He also made some suggestions of things that should be done. He worked me up a bid and suggested a date to start the work. He and his crew arrived on time and we walked the property to make sure everything was covered. Chico was with his crew the whole time and they did an excellent job including a ver complete clean up. I was impressed how friendly and courteous Chico and his crew were...I will use them again and highly recommend there services. A.Larson
