We hired Rueda Stone to help us create a stone walkway using cut lueder stone and river rock, and it turned out beautifully! His attention to detail and craftsmanship really brought the vision to life. The end result looks clean, natural, and professionally done. He was reliable, easy to work with, and clearly takes pride in his work. We’re so happy with how it turned out and would absolutely hire him again for future projects!

Chuy and his crew did great work for a very good price! We had concrete laid, gravel driveway repaired, and ground leveled and filled for a play structure. The price Chuy quoted was excellent. The work was completed efficiently and everything looks great. Throughout the process, Chuy was communicative, and worked with us when we had special requests. The crew was friendly and respectful. We'll definitely call them first next time we need work done!

The Rueda Stone team did an excellent job helping us to update our backyard! They used beautiful stone for an expanded patio, moved our sprinklers for us, and were very friendly throughout the project. Chuy and team really know what they are doing and provide quality craftsmanship!

Well, I wasn't sure about doing this, but it's necessary. My husband and I are eternally grateful to the team at Rueda Stone & Landscaping, and I wanted to share my enthusiasm here. They built some planters and a bench around my pool. They were already included in the construction plans; I just needed to find someone who could build them with the right materials and design, as it seemed like a complex project and quality was crucial. Luckily, I found Rueda Stone in the area. They helped me tremendously; they do excellent work. Since it was my first time hiring someone, I paid close attention to the details, but there was nothing to worry about. They have a very experienced staff who I later learned were their sons a great team, and they even helped me finish my pergola. They filled the planters with garden soil, where I'll plant flowers, and connected the drip irrigation system. I still don't know what plants to plant, but I'll do some research. Their prices are very reasonable, and they don't take advantage of people like other companies. Thank you, Rueda Stone! Now I can enjoy my pool this summer. ¡¡I highly recommend them!! I wanted to post some pictures, but my husband prefers to maintain our privacy.

The original stone retaining walls and stairs adjacent to our pool were failing due to poor initial construction and damage from the ice storms. We used Rueda Landscape to do the difficult reconstruction, with limited access space and they did an amazing job. High quality work with attention to detail. All of the materials for construction had to be carried by hand, down to pool level. They worked 6 days a week for 5 weeks and transformed our pool area into a place we want to use again. We will definitely use them again for any future stone work.

Amazing experience, every piece of advice was so much better than what we thought would be good to make our yard look amazing and maximize the space. His crew even worked through 100 degree heat to finish before a party for the 4th of July. Highly reccomend!

Abey, Austin Creative Landscaping, subcontracted Flix Fencing for fence portion of landscape work. We completed payment to ACL when fencing (installed under his supervision by Flix Fencing) was substantially complete on April 2. Almost 3 months later, the work has not been completed. At this point, it's a safety hazard. The job site has not been cleaned up from work done over 3 months ago. Pieces of metal are strewn on ground. Some of the work is shoddy (wobbly, not straight, gate will not open enough to move lawnmower.) We had to do work on uncompleted fence to prevent dog's escape. The process of staining fence and adding landscaping cannot be started. Our contract administrator provided a detailed punch list. The list is long. It could be followed as a checklist.
Abey is such a nice guy. This is such a disappointment.

We highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping. Abey Bruce, the owner, was willing to come on to our rather large project that had been abandoned by another contractor. Abey and his team of very polite and hardworking guys proceeded to fix the poorly constructed deck and railing, clean out a lot of junk rock and cement that the other company left in our yard, construct beautiful stone retaining walls, construct a terraced, steel walkway, create a flat gravel area and flat lawn area with artificial turf, landscape the front, back and side including a gorgeous 10' steel trellis that Abey designed and suggested, and tear out and rework our driveway to be able to capture more pervious cover. They also tore out a concrete walkway and created a beautiful stone patio and walkway. The work included a beautiful lighting design and new irrigation. They took our extreme mess and totally transformed it all and made it beautiful in about 6 short weeks. Thank you Austin Creative Landscaping!

These people are wonderful. We recently hired them to make and implement a major residential landscaping plan for us. Marshall came out and really listened to what we had in mind. He then came back to us with a plan that incorporated all of our wishes and greatly exceeded what we thought was possible. His crew was great, and we are delighted with the landscape work they did. Marshall and Abey were very responsive to our questions and concerns. We could not be happier. We would highly recommend this company for anyone's landscaping needs.

We had a great experience with Austin Creative Landscaping. Abey helped us preserve the contemporary lines of our landscaping while making the necessary changes. The work was done in a timely fashion and when the weather caused delays, we were notified as to when work could resume. We were happy with the appearance of our backyard, but needed better drainage to prevent water from collecting under the house. We added french drains, adjusted the heavy steel edging, made the adjustments in the sprinkler system, and raised the contour of our yard to direct water in a different direction. The system is now working perfectly after being tested by two heavy rains. We are very pleased with the improvement in water flow and would recommend Austin Creative Landscaping without reservation.

Abey came out and did some general landscaping for us a few months after we moved into our home in Southwest Austin back in the summer of 2016. He and his crew cleaned up a lot of growth, trimmed the trees, and generally made our yard look great, just the way it was. I spoke to him about a plan for our back yard, which he was of course open to, but wisely gave me the advice to "wait a little while. Live in your house for six months or so, see how you use the space, and then let's design something that works." WOW. Someone not wanting my business at the expense of my long-term satisfaction?! You've got me. So, I was happy off the bat. Also, he was right! We needed to live here for a while to know our flow and desires.
Fast forward to now, we are one week into a month-long project with Austin Creative Landscaping! Abey has designed a great plan for our front yard, including an extended porch/sitting area. We live on a cul-de-sac, life happens out front, and we're happily going with it! In the back yard, grass won't grow, so we're doing a combination of pea gravel to house a play structure, and also artificial turf. We will leave a lot of our shade plants as-are, and he'll incorporate a few new things to make it more green and less mud. Finally, we're removing the deck, and adding a ground-level flagstone patio. We already discovered one carcass under the old deck, so are glad to have something that won't house the wildlife anymore!
Finally, I have to say that I truly feel like Abey is a steward of the earth. He is innovative, and creative, AND works with what's there. And with what's meant to be there. I love that he walks around, feels leaves, sticks his hands in the dirt, and knows instantly what's happening with the entire yard/soil/ecosystem. I don't want to overstate his knowledge, but I just think he really knows our area, and works hard to be good to it. His crew is extremely professional, clean, and communicative, even when Abey isn't there with them. I have enjoyed getting to know them, as well.
I'll post pics, if I can, of the before and afters. I wanted to write this review now, though, because I've been meaning to for over a year, and don't want another day to get away from me. Call Abey!

We could not have been happier with Abey and his crew at Austin Creative Landscaping. We were very hesitant about choosing our landscaper, as a large part of the work to be done was to fix structural issues from a recent landscaping job that didn't go well. We had no reason to worry. Abey delivered a beautiful plan for the backyard - he spent time making sure he understood exactly what issues we were having and how the yard would be used, and that it needed to support two high energy dogs He also sat with the space and really evaluated what was necessary and how to get the most out of our space. We ended up with a gorgeous space - it's incredibly functional (xeriscaping, artifical turf, as we requested), it's attractive - his eye for materials, scale, and layout are spot on - and, it has that little bit "extra". In our case, he recognized the happy bird habitat, and made sure our friendly family of cardinals would hang out with his friends. We were so happy with his plan for the backyard, that we expanded the project to include work in the front as well. He was patient with our numerous questions and concerns, and he repeatedly provided clear and rational answers and recommendations. Highly, highly recommend Abey and Austin Creative Landscaping!

Abey and his team deliver top quality results. They have done two projects for me. First, they did a lawn redo with a deck, large retaining wall, and new fence. Second, they did a shaded section of a side yard with astro turf. Both were done well and have made those spaces much more usable.
