I can’t recommend Abey at Austin Creative Landscaping highly enough. He has completely redesigned and rebuilt both the front and back yards at two different homes for me, and each experience was outstanding from start to finish.

Abey starts by listening. He took the time to understand our vision, then created a thoughtful design that balanced looks, function, and long-term practicality. He also welcomed feedback, going back and forth with post-design tweaks until everything felt exactly right. Throughout the entire process he was consistently communicative, clear on timelines, and proactive about updates, which made the whole project feel easy and well managed.

The results were truly excellent. In the back yards, we installed turf, quarter-inch steel edging, rocks, and a variety of other xeriscaping elements, and the finished product looks clean, polished, and built to last (and best of all, no dirt for the dogs to track in). The front yards were mostly laying new grass and planting new trees, but the layout and placement were so well considered that they immediately improved the curb appeal and overall feel of the homes. The workmanship was second to none.

Pricing-wise, Abey was very competitive. Definitely not the lowest bid, but also nowhere near the highest. Ad the value was incredible given the quality of the work and the experience overall.

I couldn’t be happier with how both projects turned out, and I’ve recommended Abey to all our friends without hesitation. If you’re looking for someone who combines great design sense, top-tier execution, and professional communication, Abey is the person to call.

We have now had two major projects completed by Abey and his crew. We are extremely pleased with the way that both or front and back yards turned out. They were on time, on budget, and delivered more than we could have asked for. Highly recommend for those who want quality.

I used Austin Creative Landscaping to design and construct the front and back yard landscaping of my newly built 2020 home. They exceeded my expectations in that they listened to my vision, made appropriate suggestions and modifications as the design/construction progressed and followed up on the project. They did such an incredibly fantastic job that ACL was the only company that I thought to call when I wanted some modifications/updates/new flowers added in 2023. The owner was easy to reach and was prompt in responding to my questions and requests for modifications (due to me changing my mind). What I greatly appreciated was that once they began the job, they showed up the next day until the job was completed to my satisfaction.
The pictures reflect both the original and then modified front yards. The back yard remained the same with the addition of a few more plants to balance out the original layout as it matured.

I hired Abey to design and install xeriscaping for our front yard. Abey was very easy to work with. Shortly after reaching out, Abey came to do a walk through of my property with me while we discussed what we were looking for. Taking our input he created a design that was within our budget and was able to modify it as with our change requests. After approving the work Abey was able to start the installation within the same week. The quality of the work Abey and his team performed exceeded my expectations. He and his team were courteous and professional. I highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping.

Abey and his team did a phenomenal job! I would absolutely work with them again. They were thoughtful through the planning process, doing a great job bringing our vision for our backyard to life. As we moved through the process Abey and his team were flexible as some of our ideas changed, and implemented them seamlessly. They went above and beyond our expectations.

We needed immediate help with our front yard -- HOA gave us 10 days to solve the problem! Abey had done amazing landscaping in our back yard several years ago so I contacted him again to see if he could work magic. Not only did he respond immediately but he came by that afternoon and we worked out a plan. Our yard has new grass, a beautiful pathway, and the oak tree is trimmed and free of overgrown plants. The front landscaping makes the yard appear larger and more open. He and his team are amazing - knowledgable, professional, hard working and friendly. And yes, they CAN perform magic!!

We had some work done on our backyard last summer, which included a sitting area at the top of a small hill. When the slab for the sitting area was laid, it wound up being a much higher drop off than I envisioned and didn't look very attractive with so much cement having been required. The company that did the slab recommended Austin Creative Landscaping to put in a railing due to the drop off being fairly high. When Abey from ACL came out, he gave me some great ideas for the railing but mentioned that he could put in a planter area to soften the look of the cement. It all came out look great and we couldn't be happier! We highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping, both for their work and their ideas and designs. We'd definitely work with them again!

Abey and crew were awesome! The quote/design was quick and the project thereafter was incredibly smooth. He and his staff were awesome with our toddler which was fun to witness. Issues were zero and the results were incredible -- would recommend 10 out of 10 times.

Abey and his team did a fantastic job transforming our yard from an unusable mess of weeds to a low-maintenance space we can truly enjoy. He struck a perfect balance of honoring our original design ideas and offering his own suggestions, such as the inclusion of Arizona Cypress trees and the use of pink fairland gravel for color and contrast. His team was kind and professional, and Abey himself was particularly easy to work with from initial consult to final product.

In particular, we love the custom planter Abey installed at our front entryway. He specializes in custom planters and his skill and passion shows — we love the clean finish and the pop it brings to our front yard. We were grateful for Abey’s full service landscaping, but even if you only find yourself in need of planters, he should be your first call!

Abey and his crew were incredible. I am not the easiest person to work with and even from the initial conversation and walk through of the yard, Abey “got me” and had extreme patience. He quickly jumped in with ideas on my vision to have a “lush but Texas Native yard” that included privacy trees and a seating area. The team worked quickly, efficiently, and most importantly, they were super respectful. Even our neighbors commented on how great the crew was! We’re looking forward to having Abey and his crew back next year to complete the rest of the yard! I cannot recommend Austin creative landscaping enough, and have already done so in our own neighborhood! We are absolutely loving our space, it is so serene and peaceful.

Over the last 20 years I've had several other landscape projects and the one Austin Creative Landscaping designed and installed for me was the best experience that I've had. Abey and the Austin Creative Landscaping team were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They were professional, punctual, and respectful throughout the entire process. Abey helped guide us through decisions with clear communication and added some thoughtful design input that really elevated the space.

The crew installed a custom steel and cedar fence, laid Bermuda sod, added a clean paver trim around the entire lawn, and built out a great-looking flower bed.

A few weeks later, the grass is fully grown in and the whole space looks good, clean, modern, and functional. We’ll definitely be working with Austin Creative Landscaping again.

Abey and his crew were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Along our side yard, he designed a beautiful privacy garden bed that gives us a peaceful, secluded feel without feeling closed in.

Abey also installed drip irrigation to keep everything perfectly watered with minimal effort on our part, and he placed landscape lighting throughout the entire yard to highlight the plants and create a warm, welcoming glow in the evenings. His attention to detail, creativity, and professionalism really set him apart. The end result is better than we could have imagined, and we’re so grateful for the care and skill that went into every aspect of the project.

I have had the privilege of using Abey and his team twice.

The first time, they redid the fence in our backyard, installed turf, decking and steel planters throughout the rear of our house. They also built a beautiful paver walkway through our backyard and re ran the drainage. We had almost no issues with the installation and he was spot on his suggestions.

When we went to have an old fireplace removed this year, I called Abey who came in and had it removed, added more decking and also upgraded our front landscaping to match the steel planters in the rear.

His team has been respectful and done excellent work. My wife and I really appreciate it and will call them the next time we need a large job done!

Abey and his team did an outstanding job on our landscaping project. From the start, Abey was highly professional—he came out promptly, provided a detailed quote in a timely manner, and was able to begin the work the following week. Throughout the entire process, communication was clear, consistent, and greatly appreciated.

The team installed beautiful arid-inspired front flower beds, including custom stone bordering, that thoughtfully accent my home’s natural stone, incorporating a well-selected variety of plants suited to my homes aesthetic/environment. They also constructed a shade-sail structure that offers excellent sun and vehicle protection while enhancing the overall look of the front of the property.

I contacted ACL to do a landscaping project after seeing some of the work they had done in our neighborhood. We had a couple of drought stressed areas that needed updating and I wanted to go with a design that requires less water and can handle the summer heat with minimal maintenance. Abey came up with an amazing design. His detailed proposal made it easy for me to identify areas where we could make some adjustments to meet our budget. Abey is easy to work with and had some creative ideas that I would have not thought of. This was our first time hiring a landscaping company to do a big job and Abey and the crew made the process easy, stress free, and the results are amazing. I will definitely hire ACL for any future projects.

Austin Creative Landscaping is well named! :) I wanted to upgrade my large, wild backyard, and spoke with many garden designers and contractors. Abèy was the only one who truly saw my vision, and even better, he offered many improvements I hadn't even thought of. In addition to beautifying some beds and bringing my stone walkway back to life, we refurbished a large fire pit, and it looks absolutely fantastic. Abèy suggested that we turn the stones perpendicular to the pit, which made a unique and magical design that I love.

Very reasonable pricing for excellent work, and it's made me want to do more to make my garden a magical wonderland. We'll be moving on to more projects soon!

Abèy is the best of both worlds: a true artist, and also an excellent contractor who gets the job done quickly and efficiently. He and his team did a fantastic job, and I can't thank them enough!
