We had a great experience working with this team on our backyard project. They handled everything from start to finish — landscaping, pergola installation, outdoor kitchen, tile work, stepping stones, electrical work, and even the water fountain. Nester and his crew were very professional and neat. They dug holes for trees and when they left you could not tell. We had Nester pick the trees for us and bought sight unseen, he brought us the most beautiful trees.

I don't often write reviews . . .but after the outstanding job Ethan & Joe did for us, I have to send a special note of thanks. On time, completed the many tasks we had, reasonable pricing, did what they said with a smile and attention to doing the job right and professionally. I WILL use Handyman Connection again and recommend it to my friends.

We reached out to a few different companies to fix some rotting wood on our back patio and also repaint the entire structure. Handyman Connection responded timely and sent someone out (the owner in fact) to review the requested work and provide an estimate. After that, we set up a work schedule. We were notified when our handyman was on the way each day of work which was much appreciated, and Khrista did an excellent job. It was obvious she listened to what we wanted as we walked through the project with her, which was super appreciated, as we wanted to alter some details from the original estimate. Her attention to detail, quality work, and clear communication made this project a breeze. We would definitely recommend this company!

The Handyman did a great job patching and repairing holes in our Sheetrock where we had removed some electrical switches and old home security screens and smoothing out the texture on two walls where we are placing wallpaper. The wallpaper contractor commented on how good a job the Handyman did. And, you can’t even tell there were holes in our walls.

My only complaint was the cleanup. It’s very dusty work and perhaps drop cloths could have been hung and used to cover near furniture to prevent the dust going everywhere and maybe a shop vac to clean up the dust mess better before he left.

We will definitely use Handyman Connection again for future needs. They responded to our inquiry to fix the gates on our exterior fence and had a handyman come out and give us a free quote very quickly. Our Handyman, Chad, was very professional and did a great job. While he was listening to me go over the gate repairs needed, I also asked him to build a small set of stone stairs in our backyard, and also repair some our yard that has been damaged due to poor draining. He got everything done and his quality of work is great. He also had everything completed in a short amount of time which was a plus. We would definitely recommend using Handyman Connection.

I highly recommend Trung and Handyman Connection. Very responsive, fast, and pricing was excellent for the Austin area. I will definitely be using them again for other projects.

A few weeks ago I reached out to Handyman connection about a ceiling fan install in my son's room. I was told by Frank the office manager, that the normal price is $150, but if there is anything complicated the price would be more. My husband took off work that morning so he could be home for the install. Ethan showed up, was prompt, installed the fan and we were invoiced $150. We were so pleased with the job we reached out to Frank two days later to have the exact same ceiling fan installed in my other son's room. We asked for the same handyman but were told Ethan was leaving the company. We set up a date and time for the install.

This is where things go WAY DOWN HILL. For the second visit, my husband took off work for the morning as well. Joe arrived, walked into my son's room, spent no more than 30 seconds inside, then went to his truck to "work up an estimate". He came back to the front door, told us the exact same install, with the same wiring and fan was $280. My husband questioned it, and explained the exact same fan was installed for $150 two weeks prior. He reluctantly stated he would honor the price, then told us the work could not be done today, as he had another project outside to finish and he was worried it might rain. My husband told Joe that he thought the work was planned for today. Joe said no and promptly left.

We then followed up with Frank (the manager) hoping he would rectify the situation. Unfortunately he was of no help at all. He didn't offer an apology for wasting our time, nor did he offer to match the original pricing, stating "we must have gotten a deal" on the first install. We feel like this business is poorly run, does not prioritize customer service and uses "bait and switch" pricing tactics. Needless to say we will find another service with honest practices to install our second fan. I hope this review helps others avoid this shady company.

Rene - contrary to what you state ("though variations may occur due to different installation requirements. The second ceiling fan installation required additional electrical work"), the second ceiling fan was exactly the same fan in an identical room next door to the one you all worked on originally. There was NO difference in the scope of the work. Please stop using this as your reason for the price change, as it's simply false.

I need flooring installed in our upstairs bedrooms. The exceeded my expectations and were a pleasure to work with. I am looking forward to using them for my next project around the house.
