🚨 Avoid this company at all costs! 🚨

This business, formerly known as Crystal Clear Pools, is engaging in shady and unethical practices. They recently claimed that I owe them $107.17 for a so-called “pool service” from May 2023—yet they have failed to provide a single invoice or shred of proof.

The first time I even heard about this alleged charge was on January 28, 2025, when they texted me (not called or emailed) demanding payment within three days or else they’d send me to collections. I asked for documentation—none was provided. Then, complete silence from them… until March 16, 2025, when I received a threatening message from ARM Solutions debt collections.

This company is so desperate for money that they’re trying to strong-arm customers into paying unverified debts—for a service they can’t even prove was performed! That’s beyond unprofessional; it’s unethical.

Save yourself the headache and go with a reputable pool service provider. This one is not to be trusted.

Our pool was finalized in March 2023. Had a problem with our booster pump for the Polaris cleaner about a year later. Contacted our warranty company Swim Pure to discuss the booster issue which was under warranty. They were quick and efficient in getting a replacement for us and installed it. The cleaner is working great now and we are very happy. Thanks to Spencer, Derek and Brianna at Swim Pure for their help!!

I am very happy with their professionalism and great customer service. I am a first time pool owner and Spencer took care of my cell salt issue walking me through the process to determine if is a bad cell or not. Then Nolan came to replace it providing a detailed report. I am writing because compared to other companies that have done work in my pool, these guys are the best.

Very professional and they have pointed out a few problems with my new pool. They were even able to perform warranty work for the unrelated pool builder and dealt with Pentair on warranty parts. I’ve never had such great service.

Would not recommend this company in the slightest. If you’re going to drive around in a company van, then be courteous on the road instead of cutting everyone up and weaving in and out of traffic. Absolute disgrace to be driving so ridiculously with branding all over your vehicle.!

We had the pool built a little over a year ago. We have a propane heater and an electric heater, with all of it being controlled over phone.

We had some problems with the heaters not running properly and the backwash letting all the water out directly under the equipment.

Casey came out multiple times and spent extra time looking at the equipment, working through the problems, and making recommendations on additional things he could do to make it better.

I was very impressed with his work and commitment to making it right.

I've been using Swim Pure for the last 18 months or so. They bought my previous provider. They do an okay job of keeping the pool clean.

But a couple of times, my pool lost prime and the person cleaning the cool did nothing about it. I had to call and have another person come and look at the problem. And then they have another person come out and clean the filter or fix whatever the problem was.

I got charged for each thing. Plus I have to deal with it every time there's a small issue that I feel the tech should handle. Which leads me to the biggest reason for the lower rating, they charge a tremendous amount.

The monthly fee for me is about $238 PLUS chemicals... my monthly average on just cleaning and chems is over $380. Add the couple of times when I needed to get the pool primed, and I've spent close to $6,000 in 2024 alone.

Awful company.

They bought out my old pool guy promising they would keep the billing the same and that I would get a discount for adding my credit card. The service was trash and on one visit the report said they put chlorine tablets in the pool but they didn't. Pool was looking bad generally but I figured we could work it out.

You'd think that billing me for services they didn't provide would be an issue they would take seriously, when I emailed them (three times over three days) nobody got back to me. So I looked at service titan to see how to cancel and... you can't! So I called customer service and even that rep said she didn't have the ability to cancel so a manger would call me back.

Eventually I got a call back and the manager said they wouldn't bill me for the service, but they went ahead and did that anyway. And the "promised discount" never showed up.

In summary - they have awful service, they're dishonest about pricing, and there's no way to cancel without making several phone calls.

Great Service!

We had an issue with our pool pump this past week. We had guests from out of town visiting and were counting on using the pool and spa. Swim Pure saved us!

More specifically, Casey saved us. Casey was not only professional and knowledgeable, he empathized with our situation completely and went out of his way to ensure our complete satisfaction. He quickly diagnosed our problem, found a solution, kept us informed and resolved the issue. Not only that, he noticed that our pool app was not connected to our WiFi and got that working, too. He is a true asset to your company and that is why I would highly recommend your company. Please don’t lose him!

Swim Pure, 10/10 would recommend! our technician Ian Price is one of the nicest young people I have ever met, he is very thorough and efficient with our HOA pool!! Also, when I call and its been a few times this past week I have been speaking with Bailey, she is fantastic and receptive and understands what I am trying to say. Great team of employees, kudos to hiring Ian and Bailey!

Swim Pure Pool Service and Repair does a great job cleaning and caring for my pool. Always dependable, reliable and prompt responses to my calls or emails. Repairs are done quickly. My pool always looks great. Outstanding customer service from the pool cleaners, repair guys to the whole office staff. Always locks my gate back. Love the weekly pictures showing the cleaning they have done, the time they were there and the locked gate. Awesome total pool service.

I hired Swim pure to maintain my pool while my house was on the market. They claimed they cleaned my pool. The pictures Obviously show they did not. I questioned last week if the pool was cleaned as well but gave them the Beni fit of the doubt. At $300 a month they definitely scammed me out of $150 and I only signed up with them 5 weeks ago. Terrible service. Not trustworthy!!

Not recommended. A month ago I called to report that my pool reported as fully cleaned in fact had leaves clogging the drains, the scuppers lids were left off, equipment was left on the deck, the water cloudy and the pool gate open. My phone call was not returned. A second call. No return phone call. Someone apparently came to the house and did some work, but the pool still not clean and the water murky. Next trip out they reported the pool clean and some interesting angles on the photography. I suppose the tech did it for the benefit of the boss, but did not reflect the condition of the cleaning. The hot tub full of leaves. The drain in the pool area clogged with leaves scuppers lids not replaced, but laying beside, water murky. Another call. Much to my surprise a fellow called me the next day. He said my pool was not taken care of by his office, but would contact the correct person and have it all cleaned. No one ever showed or called. Two more phone calls during working hours. Person answering the phone transfered me to a phone which went to voice mail.

Today I come home. Water is clear. Drains clogged with leaves. Scupper lid partially on l, but could not be fully closed because the cleaning person had not bothered to brush back leaves

Generally horrible service since these folks took over.

We have had so many issues since Swim Pure took over for our previous pool company (bought them out). Their technicians curse loudly in our back yard where children care here. We couldn't get them to correct our maintenance reports for almost a year stating we didn't have a salt water pool when we did. We have had more breaks and repairs since they took over than in the 8 years preceding their involvement. They often come out for repairs with the wrong parts requiring multiple trips. Most recently they sent us an invoice for approval for $1200 repair that we authorized then realized they left a part of and billed our credit card for over $1400 without even speaking to us. The office takes forever to call back and it's very very hard to ever speak to a manager. With all of the companies to choose from in the area I would recommend doing serious research before committing.

We did end up discontinuing our service with them completely after another costly repair bill. They have done multiple repairs month after month and seem to find something new every time they just complete a repair that somehow wasn't present during the last repair. After receiving an estimate today we had another company come out for a second opinion who told us our system was functioning normally and was not in need of any repairs. They also tested our water that was supposedly just serviced and we were told our pool didn't have any chlorine in it. Of course it's possible the new company was wrong but after so many issues we simply don't have faith in this company any more.

Swim Pure West Cedar Park: Our regular pool service provider was unable to provide assistance when our heater/chiller pump stopped working. The product manufacturer recommended Swim Pure in Cedar Park as service providers for their equipment. Malikahi Gordon provided professional service identifying the issue and fixing the equipment during the service repair. We will definitely use Swim Pure in the future!

Chris Chepey has done a great job with our weekly maintenance. Today we had a couple questions/issues with the heater and freeze protection. He checked everything out and had me test functionality in the app before leaving. Very helpful!

Finding a great, reliable and honest pool cleaning service with knowledgeable pool cleaners is so tough. We’ve had great success with Swim Pure. Our latest pool cleaner is a fabulous guy called Steffan. He goes above and beyond in helping maintain our pool.

These guys have been great. I had a pool built with a highly reputable pool builder in Austin and they work very closely with swim pure- and have for almost 20 years! Unfortunately I’ve had a few equipment breakdowns and swim pure have been my warranty provider on behalf of Hayward products for the last 3 years. They have always been prompt and taken care of my claims. Recently, Spencer and Casey went the extra mile recently on a warranty claim that fell out of warranty coverage and helping me get it covered with the product manufacturer . This is how a business is run and is called taking care of their customers. Thank you so much. JC Adams

There should be a way to rate ZERO stars! Please do NOT use Swim Pure to clean your pool! They merged/took over the company we previously used (G&S Pool & Spa) and showed up for the first month, then stopped showing up. Our pool got completely destroyed and it cost us almost $1k to get it fixed (pics attached of the green algae infested pool they say they were cleaning but obviously weren’t). Now they are trying to collect almost $2k from us claiming we owe them. We have emails and texts and plenty more pictures of their TERRIBLE customer service - please save your pool and go with someone else!

Tracy is a terrific person who takes great care of our pool. Since I am at home when he comes, I get to see how thorough and diligent he is while cleaning and maintaining our pool. I’m confident that he keeps the chemicals in balance, and he is meticulous when he cleans all the many leaves from the pool from the overhanging live oak tree. He makes the pool healthy for swimming and leaves it looking beautiful and inviting. Can’t wait for summer.

Swim Pure team is among the best pool company we ever had. Their operation department manager Kevin truly cares for their customers. He is communicative and find solutions when your pool is acting up. His team members like Denny, Alex and Tracy are all caring, professional and go above and beyond. I gave them 5 stars!
