I highly recommend!!! This is my 2nd year of using them and they know what there doing. A pleasure to deal with especially whenever I have any questions they are always quick to respond. Whether it’s a call, text or email I’m always taken care of and treated as a valued customer.

I contacted them to do basic maintenance. I had to keep texting to confirm they would arrive. They did first week, then wouldn’t update, text, show up, or communicate. No idea what went wrong other than they cannot manage their time. No excuse, pay attention to your customers. Definitely not recommend unless you want to be their supervisor.

Jesse is not only the best poolman ever but also just an amazing human being. One specific occasion he fixed our water feature by literally just using a photo I sent him. I highly recommend him for anything pool related!!

Never hesitate using South Austin Pool. Jerry is fantastic and he takes pride in his work. Not only does he clean pools but he replaced my pump and spent time troubleshooting the issues with the controller too. I’d give him 6 stars if that was an option!

I do NOT recommend this company for your pool care needs. They have been charging me for weekly cleaning but show up every other week or not at all. I have attempted to contact them over the course of several days via text messages and phone calls to which they do not reply. They will take your money and ghost you. I implore you to learn from my mistake and find a different company for your pool care.

Super knowledgeable on the science of water in pools and tackling any problems one might encounter. We had an issue with our pool looking brown and Jesse knew exactly what to do with the chemicals, filter and was able to fix the ph to make our pool safe to swim in again. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! Jesse turned our swamp of a pool crystal clear within days! Our pool has never looked this good! His wife runs their office, and she is amazing too - so helpful and nice. Can’t say enough good things about this company and the people that run it!

After my 10+ year pool service person retired I thought I would give this company a try....they had pretty good reviews. The price was fair and the weekly service kept my pool in good shape....but. However, they rarely showed up on their scheduled day (Thursday). That was o.k. in the winter months, but it is very inconvenient in the summer months planning pool parties and never knowing which day they would arrive. The reason I cancelled service after 9 months was they just didnt show up at all for a prepaid weekly service. And they did not text or respond to my texts inquiring about it. They did refund my money though.

Do not use this company the have no customer service skills very bad communication skills they turn up when it suits themi its a one man outfit. I used them for over 12 months and in that time they have failed to complete weekly services scheduled my pool is now green as they have failed to show up with no communication after calls and texts NO RESPONSE FOR 5 DAYS SO FAR i asked if they wanted my business 3 weeks ago and was told yes. You can't believe any they tell you now changing services hopefully to a better company

Jessie cares about more than just the pool, he cares about his customers,, which can’t be said for the corporate companies. Pool looks AMAZING, it went from swamp to crystal clear in just 4 days. Extremely thorough, knowledgeable & a nice guy to boot. I can’t recommend South Austin Pool Cleaning enough. Seriously, great experience!!

My pool has never been in better shape! Jesse is very detail oriented and is always a pleasure to work with. I like the flexibility their schedule offers me as we host a lot of parties and have asked for special schedules throughout the summer weeks. I love working with this small business!

Do NOT use this company. Read the entire review to gain a better understanding. I used this company for over a year. I was extremely patient and sympathetic to the continual excuses. They missed weeks, wouldn’t reply to basic communication and provided decent service along the way. On several occasions I had to tell my kids they couldn’t swim because our pool hadn’t been serviced and worst of all I couldn’t tell them when the pool would be serviced. I provided this information to the company hoping this would encourage better service, but it meant nothing. Today was the final straw that made me cancel service. I informed the company I would provide a family with a special needs child unlimited access to my pool so cleanliness and proper chemicals were essential. They missed service that week. I followed up yesterday and still no response or service. The company is great about making excuses for why something didn’t happen but you get more excuses than service. Do not waste your time unless you’re planning not to use your pool so service doesn’t matter. Read post within the last yr and you’ll see a consistent theme.

We used them for almost 2 years. At first our long term tenants told us at the end of their year that they weren’t going, and we didn’t believe them because we spoke to them and they sounded completely confused as to why someone would say that. We had no way of knowing since the tenants told us after the fact.

That being said, multiple times I asked for weekly updates or pictures or even a text saying they’d gone. Literally any indication at all. They’d say they would do it then never did.

Then when we started managing the house as a short term rental is became clear there was an issue. I continued asking them to tell me when they’re going, especially because we have guests there who need to know what to expect. They never would tell me. A few times guests complained the pool was dirty, one time there was a screw in the pool. Every time I’d go it looked like they did a haphazard attempt at cleaning. I appreciate loyalty and wanted to keep trying but when a guest said they showed up and it was dirty and I couldn’t get ahold of them for 16 hours, it was the last straw. I called the two phone numbers I had a few times and texted and when someone finally responded it was a casual they’ll be there today, this is when they normally go. I wouldn’t know that since they never tell me. I asked them to tell me what time, never responded just said he’d go (response was 3 hours later). Day later I asked if he went. 16 hours later he says he went. I let him know we’ve found a new company and he just says “Alright I’ll send the final invoice”
My guest then sends a video of a very loud humming sound. I ask if they have any idea what’s going on. Day and a half later they say the guy heard something was off but it was running.
All that to say, poor communication, lack of caring for the actual pool when you’re relying on them to be experts, poor job doing simple cleaning. My new pool company went by a couple days later and said the ph balance was all out of whack and the motor is completely broken.

Not sure about their service but the driver of the company truck nearly ran over a child getting off the bus. Complete disregard for the community driving through the grass around a school bus. Basically saying my time is more valuable than a child’s life. That alone will make sure not to hire this company for any business in the future unless the driver of that truck is removed from the company

EXCELLENT your man Lee could not have done better! On arrival at our home he listed and explained what was going to be done - he took care of the details - and I must say he did not miss anywhere that needed cleaning. Our windows all looked new
when he got through. Rest assured that when we again need a
window cleaning service we shall be calling Dependable Window Cleaning Service. Thank you.
