Sonny arrived on time, performed all services to keep the HVAC operating at peak efficiency in a professional manner. He took his time to explain the current condition of the system and possible future areas of concern. I would recommend Sonny and Alamo for HVAC service.

Ivan did a very thorough job of explaining our options for future replacements of our HVAC system. He put in a new thermostat and walked us through the app to set it up and explain the features. He told us we were close to end of life on our old system but to hang on until it failed. No pressure to change it out now. Top notch technician.

Very impressed with Alamo Austin Air. From the office staff I spoke to for scheduling to the owner who came to provide an estimate to the technician who did the work. Everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and seemed to go above and beyond to provide excellent work and customer service. I gave already recommended them to my neighbors and they will be the first company I call in the future for HVAC needs.

We had a great experience with Alamo Austin AC! Our consultant (Erik Bell) spent a lot of time analyzing our specific needs and clearly explained our options. Our installation team (Angel and Erick) were beyond amazing! Their team work, professionalism, and care for our house was outstanding!! They also did a great job explaining the new features of our system, as well as explaining how to maintain it - these guys rock!!!

I posted this review on Yelp and Facebook, and I also wanted to make sure I put it here on Google Reviews as well. I have been using Alamo Austin Air Conditioning & Heating since 2019 and Adrian would always come to my house to work on my ancient HVAC system. It was 27 years old and this Spring, when he came by he delivered the bad news that the unit had so much wrong with it that it would run about $2k just to replace all of the parts on the old system. So my wife and I began the process of trying to find quotes for a new HVAC system. I am a firm believer in making sure to do your homework.

One of the things that has always stood out for me in choosing to use Alamo Austin Air Conditioning & Heating is the fact that Adrian never tried to force me to buy a new system. In the past, when other AC repairmen would come over, within five minutes they would push me to invest into a new system. Adrian on the other hand told me "just keep this old unit running as long as you can, before putting money into a new one." So that right there shows that he is not trying to upsell me. Like anyone else, I've done a lot of research on HVAC systems, parts and I'm fortunate to have people in my circle to consult with.

So after about two weeks of investigating and research I decided to pull the trigger, and go with Alamo Austin Air Conditioning & Heating to buy a new HVAC system. Not only did Matt (the installer,) explain to me the entire process (as did Lisa,) but he showed me where they were going to work on the unit so that it would also be much safer than the old unit was. It was a major job and took them all day to work on.

One of the aspects that really impressed me was the fact that they also did a bunch of tests on the system both inside and out. So it was no a rush job at all. I loved the fact that they also went into the attic to make sure that no air was leaking and that the insulation would keep up nice and comfortable. What is so incredible about this company is that they are more like family than just a business.

They get to know you, they actually listen to your circumstances (in my case we had some medical issues to contend with,) and they work with you. Additionally, my step father who is a retired contractor remarked that they provided me with one of the most detailed and thorough quotes for a new HVAC system that he has ever seen. When he came by to inspect the work, he gave it an A plus! So that is remarkable to hear that a company just goes all out to help you and make sure the job is done right.

Therefore, my family and I will be customers for life. We now tell everyone in our neighborhood and throughout Austin, that Alamo Austin Air Conditioning & Heating is the company you can trust and depend on to be there for all your indoor air comfort needs. All I can say, is thanks and do yourself a favor, use these guys, they will do you right!

Had an issue with hvac heating system in the cold winter with holidays in between, but Alamo was able to get Mitch Reaves on the same day by 9:00 am. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it. I have worked with him before as well, he is very considerate and knowledgeable. Would recommend him to anyone who needs help with their hvac.

Alamo Austin air conditioning seems to have a great staff and excellent customer service from our immediate experience. Our technician Adrian Garcia is helpful, accountable, friendly, considerate, communicates well, and provided excellent customer service. He was timely and explain things in a way that we can understand. I feel confident that our problem has been taken care of, and I know who will call in the future.

Great service by Alamo Air and their tech Noah. Signed up for maintenance plan with furnace inspection. Noah let me know everything was good and answered all my questions about how I can better maintain system. Highly recommended.

Erick and team installed 2 air conditioning units in my home. They did a fantastic job. Arrived early and got right to work. Ducts and plenums sealed as they should with mastic and mesh tape. They took the time to do the job properly and were very professional. Cleaned up everything after the job was done. I would highly recommend Alamo Austin Air Conditioning and Heating.

Mitch was amazing!!! Our heating system was not working properly. We had another company come out and they suggested that we replace our 2017 furnace and air conditioner for $8500+. Then we called upon Alamo and met Mitch. He discovered that a few pieces from a recent roofing project fell into the furnace's motor and he removed those. The system works perfectly! We have now signed up for a maintenance plan with Alamo. It is a wonderful feeling to work with skilled and honest people.

We've had Alamo out to our house for service in the past with good result, and after visiting with a couple of other providers, chose them to go ahead and replace the HVAC system in our 50 yr old home. This was not a simple job as it required coordination with other trades to complete electrical supply upgrades for the new heat pump, and significant carpentry work to gain access to and then enclose the new HVAC system, and re-engineer/replace all our ducting. To do this, Alamo dedicated their team to nonconsecutive days here so that each trade could get their tasks done, and it all came together like clockwork. Great attitudes and customer service all around, from Erik's multiple visits to determine what was needed and to develop an overall plan with Chris, to Chris and the installation team's demolition and installation of new hardware, and re-engineering our ducting system. Very pleased with the process and results. Highly recommend Alamo!

Great experience. Got install scheduled very quickly. Install crew arrived on time and were very professional. Addressed all the issues we had with our system. Followed some recommendations made during initial inspection and think they will improve the efficiency of system. Everyone on crew was careful to protect surfaces. They stayed until all questions were answered. Great job!

Adrian was super great. Really friendly and honest. I felt like he was honestly there to help out. The fix for our AC was simple and quick. He told us that it was something that we could fix ourselves if we wanted to and that it would be cheaper for us to do it that way. I thought that it was really cool that he was so sincere about it. For me, it was worth it to just pay and get it done real quick by someone who knows what they’re doing. But I appreciated that he gave us the option.
Also, the office staff was really great & they got everything fixed within two hours of my initial call. So I’d def recommend them.

Jason and his crew are awesome. We have trusted them for many years, from one house to another, for all of our HVAC needs. Noah is our favorite technician and who we ask for time and time again. I had Sonny come out for my furnace system maintenance yesterday. Unfortunately, he found that the pressure going to the system was too low. He asked for me to get the gas company to adjust. Today, he came out on short notice and adjusted the furnace for me, so we have heat this Thanksgiving weekend. Thank you so so so much!!!

Very professional crew. Quick, accurate, and clean. They cleaned up after the job, put on shoe covers while entering inside my house. Walked me through the maintenance on the equipment, and the functions. The sales man, Erik was very professional as well. Extremely knowledgeable in his products and services. All around A+ experience. I would recommend.

This our second time hiring Alamo Austin Air Conditioning and our second time with Ivan as our technician, both experiences have been fantastic. HVAC issues are so stressful in TX and it's incredible peace of mind knowing who to call when they crop up so many thanks!

I am completely satisfied with the whole installation process.
Jason (owner) came out to give a quote on a new system. He talked at length with me about our needs and the options Alamo could provide. While I certainly am not the best judge, he clearly knows what he is talking about.
Unlike other companies we talked to, we did not need to follow up multiple times just to get a quote. He gave it to us the very same evening.
I was very happy with the quote and accepted the next day.
Again, they were very proactive in setting up the install. Once set, Jason even sent texts showing an optional extra step that we had briefly discussed. I had totally forgotten about it, but Jason did not and did it with zero prompting from me. Again, this was not a typical task done for every install. Nor was it an extra billed item. It was just something he knew I would appreciate and he did it. Very much appreciated.
Install day went very smoothly. Chris (install manager) was very friendly. I work from home and was pretty busy all day. Next thing I knew, they were done. Very efficient. They cleaned everything up nicely. Zero complaints here.
It might be a bit early to say conclusively, but everything seems to work well. Overall, very happy with Alamo and would highly recommend.

Switching to Alamo for new HVAC and also diagnostics and service of another unit. So far they have been great. Quote and proposal for new system was extremely thorough, with improvements that no other company recognized. And Erich and his install team were very good

Alamo came out on top, and the installation experience was proof that we chose right. They showed up on time, texted in advance, covered all the stairs and floors, cleaned up after their job was finished, and completed a 2-system replacement in just half the day. Great experience, we're very happy we chose Alamo.
