I can't recommend Travis Odom and his team at Thrive highly enough. Travis designed a drought-tolerant landscape which included removing my front lawn and redoing the backyard as well. He is very professional and easy to work with, from the design phase through the completion of the project. I've worked with a lot of contractors over the years and he has them all beat by far! In addition, his crew is fantastic as well. They arrived on time every day and were very responsive to my requests--even the neighbors commented on how nice and accommodating they were! I highly recommend Thrive Landscape and Design!

Travis Odom designed, and his delightful crew installed a very special memory garden for us. From our first connection requesting a consultation to the final review, communication and professionalism were outstanding. Travis walked our space with us, listening and noting our thoughts and vision, while also giving us excellent advice on native plants and creative design elements. Very soon after our consultation, Travis created a beautiful design professionally displayed with great specificity and ready for HOA submission. The following week installation began. The crew for installation led by Victor and Luis were prompt, worked diligently, and meticulously cleaned up the landscape and workspace at the end of each day. They were delightful to work with, always patiently answering our questions and including our input in placement of design elements and plants. The crew appeared to really enjoy their work. It is obvious to us that the work culture for Thrive Landscaping is excellent. We could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend Thrive Landscape and Design to any who are searching for creative design professionally and expertly implemented.

Thrive Landscape and Design just finished our landscaping project at our new home. We couldn’t be happier, how it turned out. Wanted to upgrade and enhance the usability of our front and backyard. Both are connected now with a flagstone paver walkway along the side of the house. The main design highlights included a Trex deck with two levels and steel railings to blend in with our perimeter fence, 2 steel planters 2’ high and 4’ high and artfully designed flowerbeds with river rocks and Mexican beach Pebble for the Frontyard. The crew was always friendly, hard working and professional. When they ran into some snags, Luis and Travis helped actively to resolve it to full customer satisfaction. Many people complimented our beautiful landscape and we always have and will recommend Travis and his team highly for any complexity of landscape design.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Travis, Luis and the entire Thrive team! Over the past year we’ve worked with many contractors as we renovated our home both inside and out and Thrive was top-notch. Travis worked with us collaboratively to come up with the perfect landscaping plan for our entire yard and Luis and the team executed it perfectly. They repaired the damage done to our irrigation system due to our pool construction and installed mostly native and native-adapted plants to give us a drought-tolerant but still lush and layered appearance while attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. We included gravel paths, metal edging, flagstones and even a turf potty area for our dog, Finley! Thrive was also more than helpful fixing a drainage issue we didn’t even know existed. When we purchased our home we inherited an overgrown and somewhat neglected yard. Thrive has helped us create an enjoyable, functional and beautiful outdoor living space that we will enjoy for years to come.

Amazing landscape company! I hired them to landscape a property that has been in my family for more than 50 years - a very special place situated on a private cove on the highland lakes bordering a ranch/wildlife preserve.
Travis listened carefully to our landscape ideas and incorporated them into a professional design that we could tweak to our wishes. The work involved masonry, ironwork, earth moving, and installation of natural shrubs and flowering plants. The crew worked under the direction of Luis, a master of all trades, who kept us in the loop during the whole process. The results were “spectacular” in the words of my neighbor. Every aspect of the job went way beyond my expectations. I fully intend to hire them for our properties going forward, and I recommend them to anyone for professional landscaping.

I’ve done two projects with these guys to include a landscaping project where I added sod, metal planters, and plants. The second was a fence repair and both turned out great. They were fairly priced, scheduled quickly, executed on time, and worked through my lunch list at the end. All goodness.

Thrive replaced some dying plants in a white rock bed and left it clean and beautiful. You would never know they had been in the rock bed at all - no dirt, no disruption - they left it better than they found it!

Our condo community hired Thrive Landscape and Design to do a complete overhaul of our landscaping. Thrive transformed every inch of our complex, from the main entrances to the pool and courtyard, with hard scape, plants, trees, and industry-standard irrigation. We are absolutely thrilled with our new gorgeous landscaping.
For various reasons, the landscaping in our low-rise complex had fallen into extreme neglect over the years. The grass was mostly weeds, many plants were dead or missing because of a sewer pipe replacement, and the courtyard was nothing but dirt and a few small trees. The whole place was a mess. Last year we decided to remedy the situation and contacted 16 well-regarded companies. We narrowed our search to two, and they met with us onsite several times. Thrive was the clear winner. The owner, Travis Odom, listened to our desire for a design that was both beautiful and low maintenance, featuring native, heat-tolerant plants and trees and visually-interesting hardscape. I can’t stress enough how patient, flexible, and accommodating Travis was in working with our HOA and community as we slowly gathered the funds for the project. Throughout the installation, he made multiple site visits and changes to the design in response to our needs and wants.
Luis, the project manager, and his crew were outstanding. As one resident said, “Without exception, they were holistic, detail-oriented, efficient, and courteous. A 10 out of 10 rating. I would recommend them to others, and I would rehire them for my own projects.” Another added that the new look “makes such a huge difference, and it was money well spent.” We all appreciate having a gorgeous, welcoming yard.

I have a large property with a good deal of grass that I wanted to convert to a water wise garden. Travis Odam, Thrive Landscaping owner, made a detailed landscape plan and gave me a fair estimate to execute the landscape plan. The people that carried out the work were awesome to deal with; respectful, accommodative, and careful. The outcome was very impressive and the landscape turned out beautiful. Travis was a life saver by installing our landscaping for our new custom home in time for move-in when it turned out we did not have landscaping included in our project. From the first meeting, he was professional and took the project seriously. He started with a drone photo overhead and created a design with our architect’s plan. Travis worked with us to design a drought-tolerant landscape with a combination of astroturf and xeriscape, as well as limestone paver walkways with black granite and black steel edging to go with the aesthetics of our modern ranch. Our third party inspector noted that many landscape companies do not weld the steel edging to the stakes, but Travis’s crew welded all of the connections and the steel seems thicker than what we had at our previous home.
We chose Thrive because of other Google reviews combined with our interactions with Travis during the quote and design process. We found the same to be true as other reviewers, which was his crew was very positive, helpful, energetic, and some of the hardest workers on our project. They were the first to arrive in the morning, worked hard and fast all day, and stayed often until dark. We truly appreciated the hustle, and the quality and beauty of the finished product and would not hesitate recommending Thrive to anyone in need of landscape services.
