Great group of guys. My wife worked in property management and was fortunate to have Benchmark as her landscapers. Only positive remarks were passed to me. Some of my sister properties have contracts with them as well, so when I needed an additional estimate to accompany one from my currently contracted company, I was happy to see they were an established vendor for my company. After calling to request an estimate for tree trimming, Steve came out to discuss the job with me. I initially thought trimming was all I would need to clear away branches and allow more light to shine in between two buildings, and I was provided an estimate to do so by my currently contracted landscapers, but Steve quickly pointed out the rotting of the inside of the tree to be trimmed and assessed the potential for disaster if this tree were to fall. I completely agreed with this disastrous potential due to the location and the amount of foot traffic in this area. None the less, he respectfully provided me with an estimate to simply trim and an estimate to remove this hazard. The bid for removal was even less than my current landscapers estimated for trimming. Being the obvious choice, I opted to remove. He had a crew out the next day and quickly removed the tree. And when I say quick, I mean clean and quick. No mess was left, even without stumping there is very little left behind and due to the quick work no residents were bothered for a prolonged period of time with chainsaws and other noise. I was very happy with the service and have every intention of calling them in the future for various needs. There is even a strong possibility I may switch my contracted services over to them. Although I am very loyal to my vendors, the budget means quite a bit and friendly, expedient service carries weight.

I would highly recommend giving them an opportunity to help with any landscaping needs.

Guy in their truck knowingly pulled out in front of me and a motorcyclist, veered into another lane to not hit him then back to not hit the cyclist. I didn't honk or do anything rude but then he pulls up next to me and rolls down the window to flick me off. But it doesn't end there he then gets ahead of me with the trailer even with me and then forces me out of the lane and off the road if I didn't already knoe what he was doing before returning to his Lan and going a different direction again throwing the middle finger. Kyle's attention to detail is unprecedented. The 3D renderings you get before the project to showcase how everything is really helpful to ensure he understood what I wanted. But to see the project completed and it looks identical was amazing! Having a reliable landscape contractor in Austin is a huge win!

We hired Outdoor Renovations to work on our baseball fields for NAO and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I'm not sure if this team is known for working on athletic fields, but it is definitely one of their areas of expertise. They went above and beyond. The team is super professional, great to work with, and the quality was top notch. The fields looked amazing and held up all season, even with heavy use. We got a ton of compliments from teams and parents, and best of all, they drained well and absorbed water, avoiding rainouts this year because of their work. Highly recommend!

Kyle, Dillon, and his entire team performed an outstanding job on designing and installing an outdoor living space for our home. In the design phase, no small detail was overlooked. Dillon even accessed our HOA web page to ensure all of his proposed changes fell within the guidelines. After creating the full design, he listened carefully to our budget constraints and came up with an initial phase which included all of our priority items. When it came time to implement the changes, Kyle and his team performed a punctual, high quality, and stress free implementation. Their craftmanship on our gates and fence was impeccable. Throughout the project, Kyle kept us updated on the progress. An excellent experience all throughout the project. All the people we worked with were professional and delightful.

Outdoor Renovations is very knowledgeable at what they do! I had an water leak and Kyle himself came out to find the leak and fixed it. I had no clue where to begin to look, but he did. He told me what needed to be done, how it happened and sent me a video of the work. Let me say this happened on a Friday Afternoon. He came out and stayed till done at 8:00 pm. In the dark.

The longer version: Over the last 3 years, in the process of building a home in the Austin area, we’ve working with over 30 contractors. In my experience, it is very difficult to find business owners in this space that communicate regularly, clearly, and proactively, offer deep expertise, do excellent work at fair prices, and seem more interested in the happiness of the client than they do in just getting on to the next job. I simply cannot recommend Kyle strongly enough. Not only did he meet every promise he made, he helped me, at no expense to me, fix some of the “challenges” left by the prior landscaper. If you’re in the Austin area and need some landscaping work done, please consider using Kyle. He’s a rare gem.

They streamlined the irrigation and planted new material that will require less maintenance and water. Kyle is super easy to work with and provides documentation so you see immediate results. Kyle is flexible, a good listener, and willing to accommodate. I want to spend less money on maintenance and still have it look sharp . I want weeds pulled and they are on top of it!
