I wish Jeremy and his team had done such a detailed job at our site. After paying $50k we are still left with an unfinished driveway and badly installed and ruined brick sidewalk. We have been trying to get him to fix it properly and he has come out a few times but he never fixes it. And leaves us hanging for months in between. He never finished cleaning the site, didn’t fix a huge sink hole, improperly seeded clover and never finished any condo edging work or proper sealing. It’s really a mess. I would not work with him unless it’s very simple and he’s done it before. Nice guy but it’s best we just go to court to get our money back for the work not done or done improperly.

We hired Crafted Outdoor Living for a large job which included raising the height of an existing stone retaining wall, construction of a new retaining wall, regrading of backyard, installation of Techo-Bloc Patio and Driveway, custom fire-pit and built in outdoor kitchen.

Aaron and Jeremy and their team were great to work with! Aaron is very responsive and was able to find creative solutions to some of the challenges of our job site. It's clear that he cares about his customer's satisfaction and the finished product. Jeremy and his crew did an excellent job in my yard. At first, Jeremy came out to see what the scope of the project was. He took my I would like this and that and brought my vision to life. They built some beautiful mixed material planters and added irrigation to them, moved sprinklers to make sure my lawn would be watered properly, built some steel trellises, installed a beautiful flagstone path, and built raised garden boxes for my vegetable garden. Jeremy was knowledgeable and helped guide me to know what plants and trees would do well in the area. I now have my backyard oasis.

The crew showed up when they were expected, worked full days, were organized and even did extras and made sure to clean up everyday.

Crafted Outdoor Living helped us with a project in 2024 and we had a great experience! The design process and planning process was smooth and the patio build was as efficient and within 2 weeks we had a beautiful patio and new raised gardens. We highly recommend COL to all our friends and neighbors.

We had two projects with Jeremy. The first project was adding a raised garden bed in our backyard using stone. The plant quality was mostly good, but I feel there could have been better design reviews and guidance. The time to complete the project was significantly delayed as we did not get to project completion until a month after our target date.

We had a few issues that he needed to come back to address, and when doing so, we agreed to a smaller second landscaping project in the beginning of February that we heavily emphasized needed done by April 4th. Every week, Jeremy assured us this would be done in that time. As we approached the date, Jeremy was slower to respond if at all. His team came the Saturday before (date of 3/24), dug three huge holes and left. I have a one year old who walks around my yard so this was not ideal.

They came back that Thursday (April 3rd, the day before we needed this project done), did half the job and left without ever notifying us. They left the project half done, and ghosted us for over a week. We called Jeremy everyday after that for a full week and he did not respond. Finally, when he did respond, he had no apology for only doing half the project and leaving the job site. He even answered as if they did not just do half a job and ghost us for a week. No apology, and according to him, this is the level of service they provide.

The response time, the project management and the lack of care for customers is astounding for this company. I do not recommend.

I hesitated to write this review of Crafted Outdoor, but after spending significant time, effort, and money repairing their substandard work, I feel compelled to share our experience.
In the summer of 2022, we hired Crafted Outdoor, led by Jeremy, for a backyard remodel. The initial consultation was promising: we provided detailed needs, wants, and scaled sketches, and received a $50,000 quote with a promised four-week timeline. Unfortunately, the project, expected to finish by early September, dragged into October—over three months—due to poor communication, low-quality work, and unprofessional conduct.
Irrigation Issues: The irrigation system was a complete failure. Within a year, every component required replacement due to leaks, improperly installed sprayers, and low-quality materials. For example, we found temporary patches instead of proper repairs, and the team poured a concrete slab over the main irrigation line, complicating further work. Despite repeated requests, Crafted Outdoor never provided proof of an irrigation license.

Landscaping Problems: The landscaping work was equally disappointing. The weed barrier cloth, improperly laid and secured, had gaps and overlaps, requiring full replacement within six months. The steel edging was uneven, too narrow for the application, and left visible gaps.

Fire Pit Failure: The fire pit, an $800 line item, was so poorly constructed that it was removed from our invoice. Despite our request for a fire brick base, Jeremy repeatedly claimed it was "not possible" without explanation. The poured concrete was uneven, cracked within weeks, and the high-temperature tile lining was shoddily installed.

Outdoor Kitchen Disappointment: We were shown photos of polished concrete countertops from Jeremy’s previous projects, but our outdoor kitchen featured a crumbling cinderblock and stucco grill station with visible cracks and gaps. The gas grill, improperly installed, is unusable.

Subcontractor and Jobsite Issues: The project relied heavily on two workers, with Jeremy rarely on-site. When their electrician failed to show up for the steel pergola installation, we had to source one ourselves. Additionally, workers left food waste scattered across our yard, and my wife and I were forced to manage the project due to Jeremy’s absence. His excuse—that our home was "too far out of his way"—was unprofessional and did not justify the delays or poor craftsmanship.

Bright Spot: The steel pergola with lighting was the only satisfactory part of the project.

In total, we spent an additional $15,000 to fix Crafted Outdoor’s work. I strongly caution others against hiring this company due to their unreliable timelines, substandard quality, and lack of accountability.

The group did a phenomenal job with our backyard project. Installers were professional and pleasant to work with.

Jeremy and his crew did an oustanding job with our place. Easy to work with and very reliable! Will use again!

We had a great experience with Jeremy and the Crafted team. We needed to find a way to add some shade and outdoor living to the backyard and ended up with 2 amazing steel & cedar pergolas, outdoor kitchen, and limestone patio. All the work was great and we enjoying the new backyard. Highly recommend.

We had an outstanding experience, utilizing Crafted Outdoor Living for the redo of our front yard. Jeremy and his team responded promptly to our request for an initial site visit. Within several days he sent us a proposal with a rough layout for a xeriscape plan. Once approved he his team showed up promptly and did an excellent job in clearing the land bringing in new soil, crushed granite, boulders, and an assortment of deer resistant plants. Each day when they were finished they cleaned up the property. Their price was very competitive. I would highly recommend Crafted Outdoor Living for any of your landscape projects.
