Been using Chris and his crew for years now and have been remiss in not posting a review about their awesome service. Chris always knows how to fix our sprinkler issues at our home and rentals. He is very clear in his explanations, plus kind and patient when he has to repeat something until we get it. Chris' crew is also awesome - super polite and kind. Neptune is reasonably priced, timely, trustworthy and always does quality work. Please don't retire.

Neptune installed our system several years ago. We have been very pleased with it, Can’t believe I manually watered my yard for so many years. But more importantly, when we have had the occasional problem, such as my severing a line with my shovel, they have responded quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Chris and his team at Neptune.

Neptune Sprinklers has been fantastic to work with. Chris, the owner, actually installed my sprinkler system before I even moved into my house 11 years ago, so he knows the entire history of my system and exactly where all the wiring and water lines are. That knowledge has been incredibly helpful over the years.

What stands out most to me is Chris’s honesty and integrity. If the issue is something simple that I can fix myself, he’ll tell me exactly what supplies I need and where to get them instead of charging me for something unnecessary. That says a lot about the kind of business he runs. He’s not just trying to make money—he genuinely cares about his customers and doing the right thing.

I can’t say enough great things about Chris and his team at Neptune Sprinklers. Reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy—highly recommend.

This is the folks folks to come work on your sprinkler system. They are quick and excellent to work with. Honest, and no up sells. I would recommend them to anyone and I will call them again if needed. A+++

June 2024:
15 years later....Chris is still my super hero! Not only did he repaired some part that went bad on my Hunter Pro C Controller in July 2023 fast and efficiently, he also helped diagnose a sprinkler leak issue for one of our rental properties. He is very responsible, the fairest pricing in town, professional and I hope he stays in business for a long time in Austin!!!!! Totally supporting local and he does it all- truly hard working individual!
I totally recommend if you're looking for dependable, no-fluffed up pricing and good honest expert irrigation work!

August 2022:
Chris installed our sprinkler system back in 2009 and we were really happy with it! Our grass was green and literally no issues until recently! That's 13 years! Fast forward to this summer- a couple of zones was not working and we thought maybe it was due to the freeze or age. Made a mistake and called another company on referral- with the service fee and proposal- was over $525.....the kicker was that price doesn't include the actual repair - just to dig and perform exploratory surgery to locate the damaged valve?!

So I called Chris after some digging of old receipts (bc I forgot the name of his company and didn't have contact info since it was more than a decade ago)... he got it done for half the price and it wasn't even what the initial company said the issues were!

If you want honesty, competence, reliability, and great communications- call Neptune Sprinklers! (I saved his info on my phone this time!)

Chris and his crew did a great job diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading our sprinkler system on a timely schedule. The pricing was fair and better than what was quoted from other services. Look forward to working with him again in the future.

Chris, Benny and crew did an awesome job on our lawn. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing landscaping. We had a new house with no lawn and now it looks great!!!

Chris, Benny, and team did a fantastic job on my yard. The irrigation, hardscaping, and metal work are all fantastic. Highly recommend.

Had our front and backyard redone after new pool was built. All the irrigation was damaged and repaired to better solution than originally setup. Worked with Chris and Benny to plan landscaping that included walkways with pavers, river rocks, and numerous native Texan plants and sod where needed. I could not be happier with results and highly recommend. Pleasant to work with and very fair pricing.

Don't let the fact that this is a landscaping company put you off from shopping at this charming plant nursery if you're just a casual plant enjoyer! They have a brilliant selection of everything from herbs to trees, including hard-to-find varieties like curry plant and strawberry mint. Lots of native plants as well, and all the employees are super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They'll even do the literal heavy lifting for you! This has quickly become our go-to plant nursery for everything from potting soil to flowers and landscaping to edible plants!

Man o man, if you haven't shopped here yet, then you are missing out on a true Austin gem. All the plants mostly come from Texas, grown by Texans, for your Texas landscaping. There is no one better than Cynthia Collins at helping you design you backyard oasis. She is the best of the best. Be patient though because sometimes there is a line of people waiting to talk to her. And while you are waiting go check out the greenhouse for the best indoor plants in Austin. Unfortunately, I have bought plants at the big 'W' and they all died. No it's not you hunny. It's their plants. Pick up a few from Cynthia, you can't go wrong. I have a plant that is thriving, inside, that I purchased here 5 years ago. I'm not wasting my money buying plants anywhere else. Thanks Cynthia for all you do. Your hard work shows.
