I cannot say enough kind things about Zach AND his crew. First of all, Zach actually communicates, unlike the majority of the others from whom I had requested estimates. Zach is incredibly professional, and he really went above and beyond to earn our business. Zach stayed in communication through every step of our large landscaping project, and even offered alternative options to decrease some costs. Zach and his crew got our project started QUICKLY, and they finished faster than I thought they would, even with the rain. These guys are professional, efficient, courteous, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat. One more thing, when they were clearing out our overgrown mess, they found a rabbit den. These good people didn’t hurt the bunnies, they didn’t kill the bunnies, they didn’t say, “ewwww rodents” like so many people do. They SAVED the bunnies. They dug a new hole in a safe spot away from our project and transferred the bunnies, and covered them the way they had been covered before. This was not a part of our original project, they are just good dudes doing good things. Way to win over our animal-loving and animal-rescuing hearts!

Friendly, diligent, and reasonable prices. Have had Zach and his crew service my lawn since early this year. They always do a nice, clean job. I like that I can submit my payment online. I can also send additional requests via email.

Marathon Is the best lawn service company I have used. They do a beautiful job on my lawn. They are always on time. I would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a lawn service company. They respond very quickly to my emails. If you are looking for a company to do regular lawn service this is the company you should use.

We were in a tight spot. We were selling our house in a hurry with only a few days to get our trees and yard looking good for the listing. Our realtors recommended Marathon, and I'm so glad they did.

Marathon came in and worked their butts off clearing out tree limbs, planting new shrubbery and mulching where needed. They even worked into the evening, with freezing rain coming down around them. They never complained once.

Their communication and courtesy throughout the entire process was top notch. I'd happily work with them again and recommend them to anyone in Austin.

Crew came out on time and they have professional equipment. Communication with Zach was good and he seems like a genuine business owner. Was not happy with the end result- lack of a clean edge along rock retaining walls and plant bed transitions and some missed areas. While, we didn't seem to be able to come to a resolution, I understand I have high standards and our yard is not easy because we live on a steep slope.

Zach and his team are great. I’ve used them for routine mowing and some small jobs. It’s really hard to find reliable help with landscaping so I’m glad I found Marathon. Excited to use them for future projects and getting my yard in better shape!

Zach and his team are always pleasant, professional, and go above and beyond for a reasonable price. They are creative and provide recommendations and solutions that are truly appreciated. We found Marathon Lawn care in a quick google search, and have been consistently using them for about a year, and they just got our yard all prepped and pretty for spring! Zach and his crew are professional but friendly and respectful. His prices are quite reasonable and the crew does good work. I was doing some landscaping in my backyard and used them to help me out. I highly recommend them.

We worked with Marathon Lawn care for Sod preparation and install and then later for lawn mowing and maintenance. They delivered great services with amazing results for a great price! I have recommended them to a few friends and would highly recommend them!

I have had a wonderful experience with Zach Rosenow and his company Marathon Lawn Care and Services. I can call him when I need him and he’s there quickly, on-time and does a great job for a reasonable price. He’s cheerful and hard-working. He doesn’t require an ongoing weekly reservation (though this summer I may set one up) but will come and make my yard look great in short order. He has not only mowed the yard, but raked and removed the leaves, weeded the beds and even cut back about five feet of dead banana leaves that had been killed by the cold. I am very happy with him. In fact, I found him on the Nextdoor website for my neighborhood where others near me praised his services. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

5 stars for Marathon Lawn Care. They have provided routine lawn care and maintenance for awhile now at my home and they always do quality work. The scheduling is on point and the communication is exceptional if there is a weather delay and they need to reschedule. Also they use online payment system so no more having to deal with cash. Marathon Lawn Care is a local, small business I am happy to support and will continue working with them.

From the initial quote on the yard work I needed done on schedules intervals, to the overall service I've been blown away.

I was able to work with the owner of Marathon Lawn Care and the workers who come out to do the lawn maintenance to get a solid to setup a solid schedule and was quoted at a very reasonable price. If I had any particular issues or needed a change in schedule, a simple support ticket helped clear things up in a timely matter with no fuss or hassle.

Everything was a smooth sailing process and I would highly recommend Marathon Lawn Care not only for the customer service, but the attention to detail on any lawn maintenance as well, 10/10.

We've used Zach and crew over the years and will continue to do so for his professionalism and quality work; with fair pricing to boot. We most recently used him for a leaf cleanup job that resulted in five hours of work and over 40 leaf cleanup bags. Great quality and fair pricing! I have been using Marathon since getting my yard re-sodded last October. Zach, the owner, is incredibly communicative and so helpful with answering my questions and offering suggestions. I'd originally asked him about all my dead looking shrubs and if we should just pull them after Snovid but he cautioned me that they could be alive still and if I wanted to hold off a few months to see if they came back instead of just spending money to yank them. He ended up being right too, we were able to save them.

His crew has been very prompt, I always get an email the day before they're coming or when they need to reschedule due to weather. They have also never forgotten to close our gate after they leave, which I'm thankful for as my Husky is a runner.

Very happy with my lawn service and the clean ups they've done for me! Couldn't recommend them more (and I do, to all of my friends!).

I highly recommend Marathon Lawn Care. They do a lovely and professional job. They let me know ahead of time exactly when they're coming, and did my requested landscaping (over and above the lawn care) for a good price. They even let me know when there is extra work (like overgrown trees and such) that needs to be done. Again for a good price. I am older and need the help and feel very taken care of by Zach and his everyone of his team.
They are friendly, easy to reach and great at their job.
