DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I was NEVER a customer rather a victim of Cathey's Lawn Care service. Doug Cathey doesn't know how to mow a yard. They screwed up MY YARD while mowing another yard! Respect the property lines Doug!! When I called to complain about what a horrible job they had done Doug Cathey could have cared less. Doug Cathey was very condescending and rude! He had no intention of stepping up and being accountable for something he or his employees did. Perhaps after reading several other bad reviews, Doug is numb to all of this. If that's the case Doug, close down shop. You are not that good. How these other people ever gave you or your company a compliment is unimaginable! HOA and BBB have been contacted. Hope I can prevent another neighbor from having to deal with you!

If anyone out there takes pride in ownership of their property, do not call this lawn care service! They will mess up your yard!!

I have been using Doug for probably two years now and have been super happy! He comes out in a timely manner and does a great job! I highly recommend!!

Update: I had Doug trim a couple of my overgrown trees recently and he did an AWESOME job!

I was referred to Cathey's Lawn Care from a friend who has been happy with his services. I had a very overgrown tree in my yard, and Doug and team came out in a timely manner and were reasonably priced. They did an excellent job and I even had neighbors compliment about how great of a job they did the following day and asked for their contact info. I would highly recommend them!

This is hands down, the best service experience I have ever had. We had damage to two of the tress in our yard after a big storm the other night. We called Cathey's Lawn Care, not really knowing what to expect, and never having called any lawn care service before. Doug Cathey (company owner) answered the phone himself, and was here within the hour. He was so friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He took the time to explain what needed to be done, why the damage happened, and steps we need to take in the future. We have four small children, and he was so wonderful with them; letting them watch while he worked and explaining everything he was doing for them. He even cut them souvenirs from the tree limbs to keep. He has a team of gentlemen he works with who were also professional, quick, and friendly. I cannot recommend this company enough, and look forward to working with Doug again in the future. Cathey's lawn service is local and family owned, and I can't think of a better company to give my money to. They offered us a reasonable price, especially considering the amount of work they did, and the service was completed the same day. 10 out of 10 experience! Thank you, Doug!

In just one year at my new house, I went through four other companies before I found Catheys. The other guys did an OK job but were hard to reach, wouldn't show up when they said they would, and kept changing the price.

Catheys is consistent and professional, and actually do a better job in less time and at a better price than the other guys.

My mom recommended Doug Cathey's company, when I was looking for a new lawn crew. No one is pickier than her, so I thought I would try them out and I was not disappointed. They do an excellent job and are reliable and reputable. In addition to mowing, I have had them trim, weed and mulch my flowerbeds. It always looks great and cost much less then the first bid I got, which was outrageous. They have pruned some of my oak and pecan trees as well and I was pleased.

I believe I was one of Doug's first customers and I have been with him ever since. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy, as well a great guy. He does an excellent job at my business and home. I am always pleased with his work and price. If you are looking for lawn care or tree trimming (I use him for both), you would be plain foolish to go anywhere else.

RIDING MOWER OPERATOR NO MASK MOWING RIGHT UP TO GROUND FLOOR APARTMENTS IS MAYBE 3' AWAY FROM A HUMAN BEING WHO OPENED THEIR WINDOW.

Rude staffs instead of cutting grass they cut dirt and making more mess and dirt to float around. Harassing one of the tenants with a leaf blower making more mess. I have videos and pictures

Very rude staff. Called their office and the lady did not even bother to listen completely on the request and she hung up.

Their employee broke our windshield with debris this week, with him even admitting to it. We spoke to their management but they declined to reimburse us or call back, even with the evidence. A police report has been made. This review can be removed upon resolution, still haven't heard back.

Horrible & incompetent. They blow more leaves into hallways than there were before they came! Account Mgr turnover is high. Have been fed a host of bull by promises of a different crew. Account mgr is coming to view their work...none of this happened. They're paid to pick up the leaves but they just spread them out & blow them into corners. Yuk!

Big shout out to Jeff who did an outstanding job of mowing the drainage ponds for Crossing at Onion Creek community this past week. Very pleasant individual to speak with and seemed to enjoy his job very much. He even pointed out a few things that need to be taken care of. Thank you Jeff for all your hard work.
