TLDR: Air Conductors replaced our entire HVAC system. They have earned my business--and my wholehearted endorsement--for life.

LONG VERSION: A power surge fried our 25 year old mobile home HVAC. For two weeks I sweated it out (literally and figuratively) waiting for our home warranty company to approve a new system, only to learn that damage due to power surges isn't covered. Dang. Not only was that a huge unexpected expense, but, since I'd always gone through the home warranty company, I didn't have a trusted HVAC company to turn to, either.

Air Conductors had dozens of reviews and a five star rating. Who, I wondered, has a perfect score with that many ratings? There's always at least that one customer. Since it was summer in Texas, and they are so highly rated, I figured Air Conductors would be booked for days, but they fit me in just two days later.

I expected a hired crew, so I was delighted that Pete himself (the owner) and one of his two sons, Josh, showed up. I'm not sure if Pete and his two sons are co-owners, or if the sons plan to take over when dad retires. It is clear that they all take pride in running a first class company.

HVAC contractors have serviced our ancient unit over a dozen times. I've gotten good at gauging their competence and integrity. Pete and Josh impressed me right away.

Between the age of the unit, the previous owner's "DIY specials" and the (sometimes dubious) workmanship of various home warranty contractors, there was a lot to process, but they assessed the job quickly and accurately.

I wasn't surprised that their visual inspection revealed a bigger challenge than anticipated. Previous HVAC servicers had scratched (and shaken) their heads at the "unconventional" (to put it politely) way our system was fixed and piecemealed together over the years. Pete and Josh discovered further hidden challenges like non-standard fittings and an air handler closet whose opening was 1/2" narrower than the new air handler. I wondered how much fixing each of these new setbacks would add to the bill and mentally prepared for the increasing likelihood that I had more sweltering summer days and nights ahead while waiting for some obscure adapter to come in. Happily though, Pete and Josh had the knowledge, creativity and determination to overcome every setback.

Late in the day, they discovered a new problem that made me think almost for certain they'd have to finish another day. The guy who reinforced our deck a few months ago put a big beam right in front of the only access door in the skirting, I said if they could give me a little time, I'd cut a new access hole for them (secretly wondering how, with my low level handywoman skills and resources, I was going to manage that one). But once again, I needn't have worried. They had a better solution, one that many other HVAC installers would have (understandably) considered to be outside their scope of duty. They removed a cement Hardiplank skirting panel to provide the needed access, and even replaced it good as new afterwards. That's just one example of Pete's and Josh's can-do attitude. They mentioned in passing other obstacles they overcame, and I'm sure there are some I never heard about at all.

The new system installed and testing completed (testing that went well beyond typical testing standards, of course), there was just one thing left. When Pete presented me with the bill, I had one last nice surprise. Of course it was higher than originally anticipated due to the extra work, but it was far lower than what I was expecting. I got the highest quality service at a more than reasonable price.

Everyone hates when their AC goes out, and even more when they hear the dreaded news that it has to be replaced. Pete and Josh made this experience as positive as it could be. Air Conductors is my HVAC company for life. It is my great pleasure to add my 5 star review to all the other stellar reviews. Thanks, Air Conductors, for a job well done!

I have been looking for a company that provides services for mobile homes like this one for 2 years now. I had 1 room in my house that would not blow cold and it drove me crazy. Because my vents were on the ceiling and not the floor on top of having a mobile home, every air conditioner company that has come out (and it’s been a few) all say they don’t do mobile homes once they see my house. I actually was contacted by them through a referral from B&H discount mobile home supply and I couldn’t be happier. They called me on Monday and came out on Monday (same day) and found my problem immediately. Joey was my technician and he was fast and friendly and very informative. Job was very affordable I even joined their rewards member program for peace of mind on future issues and look forward to seeing them again.

I rarely even take my valuable time to make a review…. BUT I have to let the people know that this is a great small HVAC company to do business with. Pete and Joey provide a great customer service without exaggerating. Since the first phone call have been very communicative and even go out their way to explain the situation with my leaking system. 10 out 10 honestly.

We are so appreciative to this company. I have no clue about any of this and my Dad is blind so it’s a bit interesting trying to figure things out.

They responded in a timely fashion and was on time for the appointment. Cleaned up so well u wouldn’t know they was here working. Even took his shoes off when a little mud got on them in our yard. So he didn’t trace it in the house.

I recently had the pleasure of using AC Services, and I am extremely satisfied with their work. My central air conditioning unit stopped working during a particularly hot week, and I needed urgent assistance. From start to finish, CoolComfort AC Services exceeded my expectations.

Joey was great! He performed a very detailed inspection of my unit, and able to explain the issues in a way for me to understand. Last year, we encountered significant challenges in getting our heater repaired. We engaged the services of three different technicians, all of whom were unable to resolve the issue. Fortunately, we contacted Air Conductors, and they successfully restored functionality to our heater. I highly recommend Air Conductors Heating and Air Conditioning for any AC work. They are incredibly responsive, always providing me with the best options that fit within my budget without compromising quality. My family and I have been customers of a larger regional HVAC company (which will remain nameless) for years but a week ago we had an issue with the temperature in our house not going below 81 degrees. When our normal A/C company told us that the ducts under our house were destroyed but they wouldn't touch them we decided to look elsewhere. My wife called the office of our neighborhood and they suggested us to call Air Conductors Heating and Air Conditioning. After explaining the situation to them, they were able to get here and get us taken care of. Joey showed up and had the duct work fixed in under an hour but when he started to take measurements from the vents he noticed that something was still not right. After checking a few things he noticed that the coils in the chiller unit were dirty and he cleaned those and after he was all done the temperature in our house was down to 76 in about two hours. We have since cancelled our yearly subscription with the other company and have started one with Air Conductors. I will be recommending Pete and the guys to anyone I know that is need of heating and A/C work.

Recently purchased a home and called Air Conductors to schedule a mini split install for our upstairs living area since it has a tougher time getting cool.

We planned to spend quite a bit on the mini split setup. When Pete arrived to take a look at our setup he let us know that since the coils and condenser hadn't been cleaned in years, that could be the reason the AC was struggling to cool the entire home. Pete suggested cleaning and servicing the existing HVAC system to see if we in fact needed a mini split. Knowing I could save thousands was exciting to me and the fact that Pete was honest instead of trying to sell me a system I may not need is something very rare these days.

Once Pete showed us our coil, it was apparent why our system was not working as it should. The amount of debris on the coils and in the outside condenser was unreal. Pete let us know that the system being dirty as it was could also be the reason our allergies were out of control.

Pete spend multiple hours at our home cleaning both inside and outside units. We couldn't believe how nasty that coil was before Pete cleaned it up. Needless to say Pete taught us a ton about our homes HVAC system during the process and we could not be happier with the results.

Our home feels much better now and our power bills have even seen a difference since our system is not fighting itself anymore. We are getting more airflow and cooling upstairs which was our goal.

It was so nice to work with Pete as he is an honest HVAC master. Air Conductors definitely will be the only HVAC company we go to.

We had Jeff out today for our annual maintenance. He was polite, professional, and thorough. Centex installed our new Carrier system last year and every person that we’ve dealt with from their install team to the service team have all provided a 5-star experience.

Travis P was the tech that serviced our indoor unit. Travis was friendly, respectful, and professional. He was very thorough trouble shooting the unit. He identified a couple of issues, explained he repairs needed, and got us back up and running. Thank you Travis and thank you Centex.

Very efficient. Office scheduling is quick and if any conflicts arise rescheduling is just as easy. Before arrival you get a pic and name of service person. I really that added security measure!!!! Worth it for that. Good quality work and staff double bonus!
