He also cleaned out a huge amount of lint from my dryer vent, which was definitely needed. The work was thorough and professional. Update: after posting a review with oh my duct the owner called me and came out to fix the issue personally. He said no one contacted him from K.P. Chimney, which is a company he contracts though. I would recommend going through oh my duct directly and cutting out the middle man. Not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from, considering the way this place did business. There is also no such business in Baytown. Went to the address and location and it’s a lawyers office.Something smells fishy. Hired them to inspect and clean my chimney and fire place, and a company called oh my duct from Houston came out. Carlos was quick to come out and told me I needed a new refractor panel for my fire place, quoted me on it and said they could install it the next day. After the work was done everything looked good from far but far from good. I did not notice until after they left the panel that they installed was cracked worse than the one they removed. The whole corner is cracked off and they tried to cover it up with sealant and paint! I contacted them and they assured me they were going to make it right. Every time I call they tell me a supervisor will call me back. Well almost 2 months later and multiple phone calls later not a single supervisor has tried to contact to resolve this. I will reporting to the BBB, and looking into small claims options if I have any, $800 is a lot of money to leave something worse than the way you found it.
