Constraction reviews in Bellaire, Texas

Other than DIY projects, this is the first time I have remodeled any of my three homes. For the projects I planned, Legal Eagle Contractors was recommended by a trade organization. Dan Bawden came to the initial walkthrough well prepared, bringing lists of prior customer references, suppliers he recommended, issues I may encounter and how they'd be addressed, and warranties. During the walkthrough, he asked questions, listened to me, made suggestions about new products and ADA retrofit for aging-in-place possibilities. The final projects included major remodeling of the kitchen, master bath, and office, and all house flooring being replaced. The Project Manager Jordan kept me abreast of the daily/weekly work schedule, the Designer Sahra gave me her recommendations when asked, and minor warranty issues were addressed quickly. The trades people used were competent, friendly and courteous. I cannot recommend Legal Eagle Contractors highly enough. They are a very professional company.

We have been in business since 1987 doing commercial and residential landscaping. For over thirty years I have worked with quite a few general contractors, home builders, remodeling companies and architects. I rate Dan Bawden right at the top of integrity and honesty. Besides the professionalism, it is a pleasure when I work with Dan that I know the client and my company are working with an extremely caring person. I truly value working with him and Legal Eagle Contractors because of this.

I have had the pleasure of working with Legal Eagle Contractors for 15 plus years. Their workmanship is of a superior quality and highly professional. They are very focused on making sure their customers are 100% satisfied. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking a reputable contractor.

Truly the Best of the Best is what your are going to get when you choose Legal Eagle Contractors. I’ve known Dan and the team at Legal Eagle Contractors for nearly 20 years and I can say “they truly care about their clients”.
They put every effort forward into making sure that their clients have an enjoyable experience through detailed communications and knowledge of the best construction techniques. Caring for your family!.. This is what makes all the difference when choosing the right builder for your project in my opinion.

I called Legal Eagle Contractors when my home flooded. I contracted them to restore my flooded home after Hurricane Harvey. The renovation came out excellently as before. (Legal Eagle did a room addition several years ago and we had a great experience.) They did very good work were honest, reliable and easy to work with. I got a great value. The workers were clean, polite, and took good care of my house.

Dan Bawden, the owner, was very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. The work was done on schedule and all to my satisfaction. The insurance estimate for re-construction was quite low compared to the real cost. Dan’s help resulted in me getting 150% of the original settlement! I am so happy to be back in my home!!

Dan was my initial contact for the remodeling and creation of my dream master bath and vanity area. I wanted an "age-in-place" design that was both practical and beautiful. Dan was instrumental in the development of the concept and bringing in knowledgeable professionals to make it happen. I couldn't be happier with the results. Working with Dan was a great experience. Highly recommended.

I was extremely happy with the work performed by Legal Eagle's subcontractor. They did an excellent job and made a difficult job look easy. My daughter is extremely happy to actually have a real vent above her stove. I give Legal Eagle Contractors an A+Rating.

Hired this company to complete a pool structural engineer plan since my pool is within 3ft of my home and I knew it would be a hazard per my pool contractor. They charged me $900 to write me a letter confirming what we already knew — the pool shouldn’t be within 3ft of home without support. Then when I asked for a solution to the problem that I already knew and indicated to them , I was then giving another estimated charge for them to find a solution. My purpose in engaging them was to provide a solution. I complained that they essentially charged me $900 to confirm what any logical person would already know. I requested a 100% refund cause what they delivered was not feasible. I was only granted a 50% refund. I would not hire them again for pool services or recommend. This was a waste of money & time and delayed my project. They kept $450 of my hard earned money and provided no value. That is robbery. I found an alternative pool structural engineer who provided a solution and charged adequately.

I can already tell a big difference since the insulation was installed. The house doesn’t lose cool air as quickly anymore. They explained everything clearly and got the job done efficiently. No mess, no delays, just solid work.

Overall, home insulation improved how the house feels to live in.
That’s the best way to put it.
Very happy with the service.

Attic insulation made nights more comfortable for sleeping.
No more temperature swings.
That alone made it worth it.
