They took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I understood each aspect of the inspection. Their professionalism and attention to detail gave me great confidence in their assessment. Overall, I would rate their service a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a home inspection!

Blueprint Improvement Group has been my go to for all home repairs, remodels, and renovations. B-I-G was very helpful when I purchased a foreclosure in bad shape. Neal and crew came through with the right attitude and know how to get the house into a livable space within much less time than any other contractor quoted.

This was my first home inspection after purchasing my home 8 years ago. Neal and Sheniya were punctual, professional and addressed all of my concerns and explained everything in great detail. Scheduling was quick and easy as I was able to get an appointment the next business day. I highly recommend the BIG team for any of your inspection needs.

If I could I would definitely give this guy zero stars. We hired Neal for our home renovation project, he came in with his crew gave us a quote he was confident he could do the job and that he would pull permits because we do have HOA. He also told us because the house is small he could be finished within 6 months. Needless to say he did not pull permits and no one from his team came to check the work of his subcontractors consistently. Leading to the subs doing work that was not permitted or put in the design and the city came out and shut down the project. He requested payments from us of work that was started but never completed in which we paid and that came up to about 70% of the quote. We sat for over three months with no work being done and his excuse was because of the city, in which I reached out to the city and the city was only waiting on him to give the required paperwork. Then when work was able to begin the subs did not want to come out because Neal was not paying the subs. One of the subs came to my house demanding his payment of work completed, he wasn’t the only sub complaining about not getting paid by Neal. And of course communication with Neal at this time was little to none. I told Neal before any more payments are disbursed to him he first needs to give me a detailed itemized bill showing where the money has gone that has been paid to him, all he kept sending me were the invoices that I already had. By this time I became worried because I have already overpaid him for work that wasn’t completed so I reduced the budget to just a little over what was already paid just to get what I paid for done. And he wouldn’t do anymore work until he got that little bit of money from me. This is very disheartening that someone could do this to you but Neal Harris is that guy that will take your money and run like a coward. Be very careful when dealing with him. Mr Harris you can save the whole ‘Thanks for choosing BIG’ instead respond with the detailed itemized receipt of work actually performed! Also check his license number which isn’t even in his name.
Report people like this to the BBB and the OAG.

I was impressed with Neal from the moment he actually returned my initial call.
He made the process of scheduling an inspection as easily as humanly possible.
I was more impressed that he didn't mind having me around while they were conducting the inspection. He didn't mind stopping what he was doing to answer my questions.
Ms.Tyesha was also very kind, helpful and had an amazing attitude and personality as she was conducting her part of the inspection.
They really made me feel confident and comfortable that they knew what they were doing. They (BIG) sent a very easy to understand and very detailed report the same day@
Neal really went the extra mile when he scheduled a follow up call after everything was set and done.
I highly recommend Blueprint Improvement Group. (BIG)!

AMAZING! if I could give 10 stars I would! Just had my home inspected and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Super thorough, on time, and explained everything in a way I could actually understand. They caught a few things I would’ve totally missed, which saved me a lot of stress (and probably money). Highly recommend if you want peace of mind before buying!

Recently completed a home inspection with BIG last Wednesday on a 20 year home my wife and I are purchasing. Beautiful updated smart home but obviously age shows slight wear in areas. His team showed up early and communicated throughly before and after inspection. Definitely a good decision using Neil and his team for this task which assisted with the negotiation of items missed by us and not disclosed. Team pointed out crucial details during debriefing and very professional. Highly recommend using BIG if looking to purchase a new asset!

This was a total waste of money as I was under the impression they would be looking for problems with my roof. They only gave me info from drone photos flown over my home. Didn't even take the picture of the trash the roofers stuck in my chimney.

My fiancé and I recently purchased a new construction home. We hired Neal Harris to perform a full inspection for $500. After living in the space for a few days we noticed a few structural misalignments not mentioned in Neal's inspection report. The misalignments include many of the window sills, light switches, door handles, and light fixtures. Additionally, we noticed that many of the windows were broken and had to be reinstalled. My fiancé and I understood that it's really hard to catch every small detail during an inspection so we didn't bother mentioning these issues to Neal. However, after walking into my kitchen flooded with water I decided to give Neal a phone call. I explained to Neal that 1 hour after installing the refrigerator I found the kitchen flooded with water. I called the plumber who installed the fridge and he returned to our house to inspect his work and the area. He explained to me that the leak is coming from the pipes behind the walls and not the fridge. To make a long story short, the pipes running across the wall and into the ceiling were all perforated by nails. I sent pictures to Neal of the walls/ceiling the plumber tore down in order to change the pipes. When Neal and I spoke he explained to me that he didn't test those pipes because he could lose his license for operating a shut-off water valve. I responded by saying that most certainly cannot be true because how are you able to assess the pipes for leakage throughout the house if the water valves are switched off. Also, why didn't Neal mention this in his inspection report that there were pipes he could not assess due to shut-off valves being switched off. I also asked him to send me a legal document stating that you can lose your license for operating a shut-off valve. He sent me a document that said "The inspector is not required to operate any main, branch, or shut-off valve. I responded by saying "not required to" is not the same as saying you should not operate the shut-off valve and can lose you license in doing so. Many professions are "not required to" provide the best service but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make the attempt. For example, a surgeon is "not required to" make incisions that are cosmetically pleasing but that will always separate a good surgeon from a bad surgeon amongst other things. I asked for a full refund or at least a partial refund but he refused. I decided that I will not aggressively pursue a refund because I know it's a lost cause especially with the lack of sympathy, but for anyone reading this I will warn you to stay away from Think BIG (Blueprint Improvement Group). 3 days after this incident, we found another leak in the sink of our master bathroom. I texted Neal and received no response. It's clear to me that Neal does not take pride in his work and customer satisfaction. His work was subpar and certainly not worth $500. I recommend going elsewhere for inspection work. Or at least go with an inspector that will not hesitate to operate a shut-off water valve which is just a switch.

Neal has provided service recommendations for my home ranging from pest control, HVAC maintenance, window repair, an electrician and an emergency locksmith. His responses to text messages are timely and his service contacts are honest, trustworthy and do good quality work. He is deeply involved in his church and truly cares about his community. He is undoubtedly a god send.

Neal was very thorough and did an excellent job on my inspection. As a first time buyer, he did a great job addressing all of my concerns and took his time explaining the process and some of the procedures he used. After the inspection he answered all of my follow up questions in a timely manner. Would definitely use his services again!

The inspection with Neal went great, he was thorough and he completed a full report, in and out of the home. I watched him get on the roof to inspect, that’s how thorough the inspection went, plus more. Grateful, and appreciative of the service. Thank you for your help. I highly recommend.

I wish I could leave zero stars but this review is necessary. I had asked Neal to look into a vent that appeared to be dark around the edges during my home inspection. I asked him about black mold in which he responded that it just looked dirty because the home was never cleaned and he did not have a ladder to check it at the time either. Fast forward months later my three small children, my mother and myself have all been sick from mold toxicity. An emergency trip later & a handy man that got paid 200 dollars less than what Neal Harris got paid to expose the mold that was concealed in every vent in the home. Every person that has come in to deal with this mold issue has stated “any qualified inspector should have caught the issue on a walk through.” When I explained this and asked him about inspectors insurance he said he would be in touch the next day and has yet to respond. Do not use him if you’re looking for your an inspector. Attached are pictures of what Neal overlooked and what my children were inhaling daily because of his blatant negligence.
