After cleaning which they tried saying it would cost extra for fridge, which called and informed it was part of the cleaning. Still poor job on cleaning fridge, food still in seals of freezer and fridge, food under door and on floor. Mopped without sweeping so stuff all over bathroom and kitchen floors. Stove never was cleaned. Did not clean catch pans very well. Did not wipe off outside of cupboard doors. There is more. Paid over $200 for something my kids could have done. Wife took video and pictures of cleaning job after they left. Will not recommend to anyone.

I used this service to clean my home before moving in. The place was empty and relatively clean, which I would have thought would have made it that much easier to be wowed by their efforts. Unfortunately, as I am unpacking boxes and putting things away, I am finding all of the things that they missed -- dirty window wells, light switches, closets, drawers. It's pretty disappointing.

I hit a couple snags with the cleaning crew. I was really impressed by the response from the main office. A supervisor was immediately sent out. After inspecting the house, the supervisor had the crew do my entire home over. Very good customer service from the main office. I was thinking of dropping the service, but I will continue because of their response.

This company is a known name so it was the only name that came to mind when I was moving from my home. I would definitely use this service again. Our team did a wonderful job.

I asked to have all cabinets cleaned, the backsplash cleaned in the kitchen. They were not even touched. I also asked for the windows and blinds to be cleaned. They were not even opened, I opened them after and they were full of spider webs still. They didn’t clean behind doors or under items on the kitchen counter. I moved canisters on the counter and there was dirt under them. They were supposed to be there at noon and didn’t get there until 2, so I think they did a rush job because they were late.

I would recommend Merry Maids for any home, apartment and they are very efficient and worth the money! Try them once and you will continue on and on.

TERRIBLE ALL THE WAY AROUND. First cleaning was good and then the next two were not. No floors or counters were cleaned at all. I contacted the local office and I was told a different team would come next time. Same thing. No counters, no floors. They asked for photos and i sent many. NO RESPONSE. I told them I wanted to cancel the services and they went quiet. Called a few days later to see where we were on cancellation and they told me that it was closed and they had sent my information to collections!! They had an old card on file and apparently my latest payment didnt go through. Well, instead of contacting me they sent me straight to collections. Now I am fighting this BS because they didn't let me know. I went to the local office to try and take care of it and the women there were rude and combative (San Antonio, Texas) and threatened to call the police on me. They are rude, they hang up on you and they yell. Absolute worst business experience in my life.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good cleaners but they do need direction at time when they don't complete basic cleaning. I am not continuing their service because after your contract they make you wait a whole month before you can cancel so if you don't do it a month before you contract ends you are stuck paying for another month of service. They send me texts ALL the time even when I was no longer a client, and when I told them, it would be nice to be updated about cancelation via text. They said they couldn't do an automatic text like that (sure 🙄🙄🙄 there is a difference between can't and don't want to. ) I voiced my concern to their head person via email that they should do that for their clients. He never responded (surprise, surprise) overall, not pleased and will be taking my money elsewhere.

I called Merry Maids at 9am to have a crew come out to clean my apartment for a move out and they were there at 11am. They had a lot of cleaning to do and they still finished within 2 hours. I will definitely use Merry Mass again for my new home. Thank you for your prompt service!!

Nice people and easy to work with. They do a great job. Our home is full of dogs and a bird that likes to comment on everything that happens, as well as oxygen tubes running everywhere, and they take it all in stride, and use pet-safe products.

My apologies for the lateness of this review. We just returned from our Jazz Cruise which, by the way was fantastic.

Overall, my house was immaculate with one notable exception - the hall bedroom, but before I get to that, let me start by complementing the cleaner who was responsible for cleaning my refrigerator - it was spotless. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it cleaner, so thank you. I was blown away.

Starting with my master bedroom and bathroom I have no complaints. The master bedroom was dust free including the ceiling fan. The closet sliding doors were streak free. The area rugs were vacuumed. In the master bathroom, the countertops were cleaned from top to bottom, the shower tiles were spotless - no water marks to be seen. Both bedroom and bathroom floors shined beautifully.

The hall bathroom sparkled from the glass shelves to the bath tub tiles. The toilet and sink were spotless; floor mopped. Little creative touches with the toilet paper and the towels was a nice touch.

Without a doubt, our library is the largest and hardest room to clean, but that never deters Jacqueline and Jose. From the top book shelves, approximately 8 feet high, to the knick knack shelves, the highest approximately 6 feet, not a speck of dust was found. Desk clutter was organized, glass table and mirror closet doors were spot free. Even the smallest nook and cranny of the DVD cabinet was dust free. Ceiling fan was free of dust and dirt. Carpet was vacuumed, and exposed hard wood floor was vacuumed then mopped.

Living room and dinning room is an open area. Lots of glass tables (i.e., coffee and end tables) were spotless - no water marks. Artificial flowers were dusted, an added bonus. Area carpet was vacuumed and again exposed hard wood flooring was vacuumed, then mopped. China cabinet in the dining room was dust free, even the top of the cabinet was dusted, as well as the glass cabinet doors sparkled.

Our small kitchen was cleaned from the cabinet faces to the sliding drawers. Countertops were free of grit, sink shined like new. Hard wood floor was vacuumed the mopped to a pristine shine - a 5 star kitchen.

Back to the hall bedroom. The shelves looked dusted, but when I reached into the back of the shelves there was dust. Additionally, the carpet did not look like it was vacuumed, nor the exposed hard wood flooring. I’m surprised and at a loss for words. However, let’s not make this one room the focal point of this review.

Bottom Line: We were beyond thrilled with the expert cleaning provided by Jacqueline and her crew. The team worked tirelessly. They attended to every detail from the highest vaulted ceiling to the lowest basement crevice...and everything in between!

Our first time scheduling cleaners for something other than a move out and Glenda was absolutely phenomenal! Just make sure you keep your own time of how long they’re there.

After 2 delayed starts they were exceptional in understanding delays, all due to my mistakes in scheduling. Thanks to Jessica Chavez and her colleagues for patiently working with me today, and delivering a professional and calm, reassuring outcome for my frantic worries in preparing this 3 bedroom 2 bath duplex for photographs and rental. Cannot say enough good things… usually people come in strong and then peeter out on their cleaning techniques and thoroughness. But not Merry Maids every cleaning they exceed our expectations

We have recently had a floor replaced and all of the furniture had to be moved out of the room and replaced. Merry Maids sent two people to help me clean and replace furniture, then today a crew of three came to clean the rest of the house. Very thorough and I am very pleased with their service
