They fully removed all the trees requested and stump grinded the stumps as requested as well. I’m pleased with the finished product.

Rangel Tree Service came to our neighborhood before one of the storms that hit Houston this summer. Andy gave us a quote right away, and it was very reasonable. When they completed the work, they did a fantastic job. All the crew was great. They are very knowledgeable about trees, and since it's been several weeks since our trees were trimmed, we can tell what a great job they performed. I highly recommend them. Most of our street had all their trees trimmed by them the same week. They were very pleasant to work with and we thank them for a wonderful job.

Roland, Mario, Daniel, Santos, Jose' and Alex were all a pleasure to do business with. They have very good competitive pricing. All the men are polite and professional at all times. They came out and cut down 3 large pines and 1oak tree. They were very careful to not damage the roof, brick wall or gate. They cleaned up everything and made sure I was satisfied before payment. I highly recommend Rangel Tree Service for your next job.

This company did a great job on my 10 oak trees. They were fast and shaped the trees perfectly. Then the cleanup was excellent. I’d recommend this company anytime.

We use Rangel Tree Service for our trees. They did good work for us before, and we invited them back after the Derecho storm in 2024.

We had four mature oak trees trimmed and thinned… and then the water oak taken down and stump grinned after the trimming work indicated the tree was not savable.

While my contact at Rangel was not quick to respond, they did service us the next day once I finally got someone on the phone. I do suspect they are busy right now with the amount of tree damage in the area. The crew was obviously professional and skilled. They did a great job taking care of our property and the neighbor’s house while working.

Roland's crew took excellent care in trimming four mature oak trees for us in Spring Shadows this week. Two of the trees suffered damage from the freeze and needed careful attention to remove broken and dead limbs. I could tell from the methodical and conservative approach of the climber, this is a skilled team who care about tree health and not just aesthetics. They arrived on time, did the work that was expected, and left my and the neighbor's property cleaner than when they arrived. Our trees look fantastic and are ready for the summer ahead. Kevin came to my house offering a free estimate for pruning my trees. It had been a few years since they were pruned so I agreed. He offered to prune all 10 of my trees for a reasonable price. Since I never hire anyone without researching their business, I told him I would let him know later. He came back about an hour later and offered me a discounted price, if I agreed to letting his crew do the work the next day. After quickly reading reviews I agreed. Boy am I happy I did. They did a wonderful job pruning and left my yard cleaner and in better shape than when they started. I would definitely recommend Kevin and Rangel Tree Service for your trees.

The team lead Alex came to our house a week ago and asked for the tree pruning job. He gave me a quote that seemed reasonable, I gave him the work. I am fine with the fact that he postponed work twice without notifying me earlier. I'm also fine with him showing up one day without me confirming. The issue I have with them is that they didn't do the job all way through. Half way into it he is essentially saying that he is being underpaid, and I need to pay them more than the amount agreed for them to do the work. I didn't even bargain when he made the offer I agreed to the quote he gave me. When I told him I won't pay more, they did a horrible job completing what they started. I have attached a picture of what the branch tips look like after their work. The workers are polite, but Alex has a poor work ethic. If you agree to work for a rate keep your end. I paid them what I agreed to in spite of what they did. That's the difference between being civil and not.

A few weeks ago I negotiated a price for this company to come to my property to remove 1 oak tree and prune the other oak in my backyard. I specifically asked that the stump be completely removed and all debris to be removed from the property. The foreman Mario agreed to this.
Over the course of 2 days, the men came and worked. Then they left without removing the stump. They contacted me to request part payment (most of what we agreed) and I wrote them a check.
I called numerous times and left messages requesting they come back to remove the stump. After 2 weeks, a man came back with a grinder to remove it but left all the debris - about 4 feet high of sawdust. I was told someone would come and remove it but they never did.

A week later, Mario called me to request remaining payment and when I said the job was not finished, he said that they never remove the sawdust. He denied meeting me and shouted at me down the phone. He harassed me with 10 missed calls. Due to their unprofessional attitude, my husband spoke to them - and eventually agreed to a discount for the remaining $.

I told them to come at a specific time on a day when I would be home, Mario agreed and then never came to pick up the check. He is now harassing me expecting me to be home when it is convenient for them.

Please do not do business with this company. They are completely unreliable - they do not come when asked and will not complete the job you have agreed. Mario is very rude and unprofessional.

Rangel tree service was excellent. Communications were good, expertise and work quality was great, the cost was reasonable and they did a great job with the post job clean-up.

We had all the trees trimmed on our property, including three large oak trees for a great price and excellent outcome.

Excellent outfit. We had a fantastic experience. They removed brush and also tree stumped an entire area in the back yard. In addition, they trimmed 31 trees including many tall pines. Very friendly bunch also and easy with which to work. Provided an estimate one day and performed the work the very next day. Bottom line is I would highly recommend them to others without hesitation.

As a resident of Edina, MN where most services are priced extremely high compared to other places, finding Rangel Tree Services available here was amazing. They just relocated from Texas and are offering competitive pricing and an expert crew. They are driven, fast but careful, thorough and budget friendly. I am impressed with the quality of the work and how quickly they got everything done.they removed an 18ft ash tree and a 12 ft maple tree plus a little buckthorn in one afternoon. Will hire again come fall to take care of big dead branches.

I received a bid for work to be done by them, but they ended up subbing the job out and did not relay all of the work that was supposed to be done. They never came back to finish the Work, all they say is the person who bid the job no longer works for the company. It still needs to be made right.

4 man crew came out to do a full prunning on my big oak trees. They were easy to communicate and work with, and did an excellent job. Will definitely refer to others and use again.

The neighbors had them come and cut the trees in their yard and the manager Mario said he got permission from our neighbors saying they could cut our tree that was sharing a fence with our neighbors. They butchered the tree where there’s damn no nothing left and didn’t care that they didn’t even make us aware they were going to be doing that. Mario was very unprofessional and lazy he was sitting in his truck not even supervising what was going on. And of course no one spoke English so one of the workers had to go get him. Even as I write this he’s still sitting in the truck.

Daniel was very professional and helpful . He came out and told me the problem and came back two hours later with the crew to fix it. I would recommend them anytime. Great work.

When the Houston Fire Department refused to help me these guys did!

My cat was stuck up a tree for 2 days straight and i couldn't get him down at all no matter what I did. I found these guys cleaning up after a job in my neighborhood. I asked if they'd be willing and able to help me out. They sent one of their workers to follow me to where he was so that we could get him down. In less than 20 mins from finding them I had my cat back. When I offered to pay them for their service they politely refused to accept any payment. I insisted and paid for beers for the night. Kevin and the young gentleman that scaled the tree. Thank you again, so very much!

I recently had Juan and his crew trim the trees on my property, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. Juan took the time to assess the trees, explaining what needed to be done to ensure their health and beauty.

His crew worked quickly but carefully, making sure every branch was trimmed safely and with precision. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up afterward—my yard looked even better than before they even got here!

Needed the canopy raised on a tree that hadn’t been trimmed in a long time. They showed up exactly when they said they would and did an excellent job for a what we considered a reasonable price for the work which included removing all the trimmings.

These guys are amazing! Didn't leave a single twig behind, and everything was cut beautifully. Masterful arborists and an excellent business in every way. Daniel,Jose, Tony, and at least 7 others, and 5 trucks... were an extremely well-oiled machine.
