Called main number and set up appointment with Kevin. Didn't show up, moved appointment for next day, didn't show up again. Texted me and set another appointment, didn't bother to call or text after another no show. Tried to set another appointment after my text, but I didn't trust him anymore. Obviously they don't take customer care seriously.

I highly recommend Rangel Tree Services! We hired them to take down 8 large pine trees — some of which were in very tricky spots near the house, vehicles, and storage area — and to grind the stumps. From start to finish, their communication was excellent. They kept me in the loop, followed up quickly on my questions, and even checked back to make sure I was completely satisfied once the job was done.

In spite of the complexity and size of the job, they safely removed all the massive live and dead pines without a single bit of damage to the property. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!

I called this morning for an estimate … He was there within 45 minutes… Gave great estimate!! I decided to go with Rangel Service! He had the crew here after lunch and they worked so fast they finished today! I had 2 big limbs to be cut and 5 large trees to be trimmed!! They cleaned up the area after the job was complete! I highly recommend this company! Very professional!

I am very happy with the tree removal service from RTS Rangel Tree Service. They were very professional and took down an old tree between two houses very carefully. Clean-up was great. No damage to the two houses and I am all smiles.

Roland’s crew did an excellent job removing a huge pine tree, grinding the stump, and trimming a large oak. They worked very fast and cleaned up very well. They were also all very nice and let our 4 year old son “help” with clean up. On top of it all they were the best quote by far that we had gotten.

Easy estimate process. Scheduled right away. Great crew. Good team work. Start to finish…they work like a well-oiled machine. Thank you all!

They trimmed all 10 trees. My trees have never looked so good. Daniel was very helpful and explained everything they would do. He followed up to make sure it was done. I would highly recommend them.

The crew did a wonderful job of beautifying and lifting the canopies on our trees... and providing entertainment for us. After the ice storm in Central Texas in early February, we had four trees that had severe damage, one of the hardest hit homes in our Round Rock TX subdivision. Daniel came by to give us a quote. They are insured and the reviews and ratings in Google and Angie's list were also excellent.

We selected them. They let me know they were running a day behind, and showed up on the adjusted day. The did an excellent job. They had to go into three of the live oaks to sever broken branches.

They also had integrity. The work.order was for brush haul off and the crew thought they were done but the brush was not hauled off. They were going to haul it off two days later.

The city came and, without being asked, probably because our neighbor filled out the firm for them, hauled it off at no charge as part of ice storm cleanup.

David agreed to my suggested reduction in the bill. No hassle.

Pictures show the worse damage. All is good now.

Update: They came back and completed the job as I watched closely and made sure I was good with it before I left. Highly suggest holding off on payment untill the mulch is cleared and job completion verified (I cleared it all within 2 hours of the stump initially being grinded)

Very similar to a previous reviewer Tiffany, Rangel was initially well priced and completed the job quickly and professionally. However after clearing out the mulch from the stump grinding, I discovered several high spots remained. It's been a week now and after calling daily and continually getting excuses or promises to come out soon, I believe I'm just getting the run around due to having already paid. Disappointing.

I would happily update and improve this review if they would just finish the work I paid for.

Mr. Juan from Rangel Tree Service came out with his team they have done a wonderful job in our church yard cutting and trim our tress. I recommend them whenever you have a need for tree cutting/trimming service.

Mario/Jesus and his crew did an amazing job ! They were very professional and tackled the job professionally . Very knowledgeable on his field of work . If have an opportunity hire them won’t disappoint .

Mario and his crew did a great job trimming the live oak in my front yard, pruning out dead branches and lightening the load on the tree without butchering it. They charged what I think is a fair price, worked efficiently, and cleaned up the yard when they were done.

However, when a worker cabled some of the large limbs overhanging the street, the work was not done to my satisfaction. Although Mario and I discussed bolting the cables through the limbs, like the cabling that had been done by the previous owners of our home, the new cables were not bolted, but wrapped in a way that research suggests will be harmful to the tree in the long term. The fellow who did the work was alone that morning, the day before the ice storm, and due to a language barrier I was unable to discuss the issue with him at the time.

I have had trouble getting a commitment from Mario to come back and fix the issue. I know tree crews have been extremely busy since the recent ice storm, but I am disappointed that we have not been able to make more progress toward resolving this issue.

Very professional, responsive, and amazingly fast! Excellent communication and management. They removed two huge oak trees that fell o n our house (one over 85’ tall), without ANY additional damage in 8-working hours over two days. They left our yard so clean, it did’t look like anything had happened! The stump grinder equipment was amazing and took only 45 minutes start to finish! To say we are happy and satisfied would be an understatement!

This company great from beginning to end. They went far beyond my expectations. Each man of this 3 man crew had a job and was non stop the whole time. They did front and back yard for me as l asked. My trees have never looked this good and I have lived in this house for 38 years. I will definitely call them again when needed and recomend them to all. Great job guys. THANKS.

RTS Rangel Tree Service did fantastic work for my dad, Sammy LaCorte, removing a pine tree next to his driveway. Very professional, reasonable price, and they did not cause any damage to property and plants in the process. They came back to finish the job. They stand behind their work, and I recommend them. Alex with RTS did a superb job.

Rangel Tree Service took down a tree in our front yard. They were easy to work with and the tree crew was respectful of our property and very kind. The next day they came to grind out the stump and roots. After they left, we discovered under all the wood chips that there was still a significant amount of tree stump left. I called Mario and he said he would come back out. That was in August....and it is now February. I have called, texted, emailed and received no response for five months. I would not recommend Rangel Tree Service based on my experience. They do not finish the job, and customer service is lacking if they cannot even return a customer phone call, text or email.

Highly recommend Rangel Tree Service! From start to finish they were exceptionally professional, especially Alex and Kevin. Very impressed with the very skilled workers and how everything went so smooth. They were in constant communication with me from from scheduling and throughout the entire process. We couldn’t be more pleased!
