This is the absolute best tree service in the Houston area! Maybe it’s just me, but lately I’ve been having a hard time finding a tree service that will stop by my house to give me an estimate. Five Star Tree Pros was easy to book an appointment with and they showed up on time ready to earn my business. Chris was extremely helpful and professional. He made sure he understood my needs and then explained everything they do in great detail. He also gave me a fair price. I was able to schedule next day service. When the weather forecast changed to heavy rain, I was impressed to get a text letting me know in advance that my tree pruning needed to be postponed for a day. I’m used to dealing with companies that let you know they’re not coming by not showing up. Five Star Tree Pros was a refreshing break from that. The crew that was assigned to me did OUTSTANDING work on my trees! They cut all of the limbs I asked them to cut, and then thinned out the remaining limbs to allow maximum sunlight to pass through for my lawn. The crew was meticulous in every way and took tremendous pride in their work. I cannot recommend Five Star Tree Pros enough!

What a gem of a company! Truly a world-class organization and worthy of the company name. This team hustles to earn every star. Really, if it were up to me to name the company, I would name it "Five Star Tree Pros PLUS" because this group always goes above and beyond.

There truly is no better tree and arborist service in the Houston area! I have used Five Star Tree Pros "sister" company for years with great success. During Hurricane Beryl, which hit Houston dead-on in July 2024, we had a tree fall through our home. I called and left a voicemail with Five Star early in the AM on the day of the storm to alert Five Star that that I needed their assistance. Vanessa - who is awesome btw - returned my call immediately after the storm subsided and even though I realize they were experiencing thousands of calls (we had five trees fall on homes just on our short street alone), Five Star treated me as if I was their only customer. Chris stopped by the same day to look at the damage and propose a very fair quote. The team scheduled me in for a few days later. They arrived promptly and were crewed well (something many other companies struggle with). They had the proper tools to do the job efficiently. This part was crucial to my wife and me, as over the past few days, I'd watched some lesser experienced crews rip trees out of homes nearby and causing thousands of dollars of additional damage. NOT Five Star Tree Pros! They had six men, good chainsaws, a Bobcat (large tractor to help properly lift tree out) and more than enough skill. This crew was extremely careful in extricating the large tree (about 7 foot diameter trunk) from the middle of our home. They protected the roof well, they were careful and deliberate in the extrication process and did an overall great job - as they have always done for us. Even though it started raining during the project, they stayed on site until every limb was collected and the area was left spotless. I was again impressed at how safety conscious this team is, how well they treated my property and how efficient they were in getting the tree removed. All this and for a very reasonable price. Thanks Five Star Pros for a job very well done.

Five stars for Five Star Tree Pros!

My father and I recently experienced the excellent service of Five Star Tree Pros when one of their teams arrived to supplement a team from their sister company, Garcia Professional Tree Service, for work they were doing for us. (See my separate review for that.) While the Garcia team dealt with a tree removal in our back yard, the Five Star team removed four major branches from two live oaks in our front yard so that nothing would be hanging over our house, blocking light from our street light, or interfering with trash pickup. They were well equipped, worked efficiently, caused no damage to our house or yard, and cleaned up well afterward. Their team leader, Raphael, was friendly and spoke perfect English. Their work was all part of the very fair price Garcia Professional Tree Service charged us, so I'm confident that Five Star Tree Pros would have been similarly fair had I called them instead. I would not hesitate to call either of these Garcia family companies next time I need tree work.
