Our church contracted with Urban Tree Company to remove 15 trees from the property. Some trees had caused severe damage to concrete walkways, and others were in areas that were over the roof or were located too close to electrical lines.
The work was performed with the highest concern for everyone that was on the campus each day they were working. Trees were cut down and cut up, and debris was either ground in their chipper, or taken away. The areas were cleaned up each day and there were no trees or limbs left laying around at the end of each day. All stumps were ground up well below the ground level.
We were very pleased with the bidding process through the final walk through. Urban Tree had the right staff, the right tools & equipment, and the right management each day to complete the job on time and with excellent results.

Jesus, Christian, Wilburn and Carl which grinder the tree stumps! They removed 2 pecan trees, trimmed 1 pecan tree and 2 tree stump grinding! They called to make sure I was ready for their arrival and Carl called me and gave me a ETA of 20 minutes and he was on point! Great job and keep up the good work!Everyone was great.

This company is amazing! From the online ordering process for fire wood to the technicians that deliver, (Carl Berger did an outstanding job) this was seamless. Not just the ordering, but Carl wheeled 1/8 cord of wood to our backyard and stacked neatly in our wood stacker. Outstanding Service!

Called for a trimming estimate-no answer. After submitting the form online someone calls me to schedule for Thursday at 5:00. Thursday comes and they are a no call and no show. Called back to see if there was a mix up, but nobody answers the phone. Don't waste your time calling, nobody will answer and if they do, they won't show up.

There's a lot to like about how Urban Tree Company presents itself: woman-owned, looking to use sustainably and responsibly the bounty of tree growth in San Antonio. I had high expectations, and my interaction with arborists and crews did not disappoint. Not only were all of them kind and really interesting people, they also did excellent work, quickly and carefully, and left my yard and my trees better off than they were before. Part of the project was having an old mesquite tree removed. While many twigs and limbs became mulch, I like the idea that part of the tree will be firewood, and I'm looking forward to getting a nice slab out of the trunk (yes, they can mill and kiln-dry wood for you, too!) Whatever you need to have done to, or with, your trees, contacting people at Urban Tree Company would be the place to start.
