Home Services reviews in Colleyville, Texas

A camelia I bought from it has a real infestation of insect eggs! Dozens of yellow balls and I don't even know what pest that is!
I really appreciated the help from people there though, they were extremely helpful and nice. -
We paid over $200 to have weeds eliminated from our small front lawn. Treatment was unsuccessful and Jim came out and did not seem to care about how the treatment did not work...did not offer to remedy the situation or even offer to try again or refund any amount.
We would not recommend using this companies services and suggest you go elsewhere. -
I got excited when I heard from a fellow plant person that this place had stromanthe triostars but unfortunately when I got here they did have a mealie bug infestation. I couldn’t find one outside in the nursery that didn’t have a mealie bug :(
It was a good deal for the plant, it was only 10.99 But I was too nervous about risking an infestation with my plants at home so I did not buy.
I suggest just taking a good look at the plants here before you buy. They did have a wide variety but just be careful and quarantine any plants you do bring home to avoid bringing home any pests. -
This beats Lowes or HDepot any day in all aspects! Plants I could not find else where I found here. The two named big box stores sell plants out of season knowing they will not survive. These plants are winter plants like stalks( UK plant). In Tx should be consider late fall through early spring. Primrose. Others but the sell in Spring and all ypu get is 2months if your lucky. Plant in the fall and they will last through a moderate Tx winter into spring. Thats 6 months! Anyway all the plants look healthy. Prices are slightly higher, I do mean slight but the product is much better quality! As for all you bellyachers out there Mr Owens you must have been over watering. Community standards are twice a week. How many times you expect a co. to replace a plant you killed? Everything I bought here is thriving in my novice garder and I went back for more. Took a friend there also & she was delighted! Store also sells my cat food, vaccinations, bric-a-brac for your yard, etc. All in all, I so glad I found this little gem.

There are plenty of places where you can buy plants. What makes Marshall special is their people! Have a question about an organic issue? They have your answer? How deep to plant your new trailer. They've got you covered. They're smart, so I don't have to be!

Greedy owner that only seems to care about money. Avoid landscape service like the plague. The quote didn’t match the final price and ended up being much more. The entire experience just felt like a money grab, saying any excuse they can to get the payment finalized. Find somewhere else that won’t rip you off and give a better experience.

I called the store on Sep. 11, 17 about 2 hours ahead to make sure they have garlic to plant in stock. The answer was "YES". I drove 29 miles to come to the store in Grapevine. The answer in the store was "We are sorry, we don't have now" !!!!!?????? If the store manager could read this, he or she would have a meeting with the employees about how to answer a simple question that would not hurt the store reputation.

I’ve come in several times and worked with Ellen! She knows her stuff and i was super impressed when she was willing and happy to explain the concept of fertilizer to me 🤣 great customer service . Love the store and how authentic everything feels!

Update your hours online. I just wasted my time yesterday driving over there only to see you were closed.
Edit: you say your Google page and web page are displaying your accurate hours. Please explain why I stopped by on Saturday at 5 PM and you were closed. -
Always been a great place to get organic gardening supplies and healthy plants..they might be more..but staff is knowledgable and plants arent grown w/chemicals like Home Depot and Lowes+
They hv healthy supplies for plants and pets and actually care about environment.
Great staff.. -
I needed beneficial nematodes for a grub issue, but knew I only needed a small amount. Knowing that Marshall Grain sells two sizes, I had my wife stop by there while she was in Grapevine to get the smallest size they have. The people gave her exactly what she asked for, but failed to mention two very important facts: 1. They were out of the smallest size they sell, and 2. No returns on this product.
I drove back over to Grapevine the next day to return the nematodes because she had purchased the larger size. That's when they told me that they were out of the smaller size, and that I had to keep what she bought. She asked for the smallest size they have, which is exactly what they sold to her. Very poor customer service! Some mom and pops, like the Argyle Feed Store are much more attentive and informative. -
I called asking if they sold bird baths. The guy on the phone said, oh yeah, we've got a few. I asked if they were short or if any were close to 3 feet since all I could find other places were short. He said, yeah they're closer to three feet. I get there 8 minutes later and they do not have one single bird bath. I looked everywhere. Why lie? Why not just say you've sold out? What a waste of time.

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, willing to go the extra mile staff. Have a wide, diverse supply for everything gardening, creating the perfect outdoor area utilizing organic methods and access to other methods. Great selection of pet food, toys, medicines and accessories and having special events for the pets.

In their defence from the "poor customer service" review, this is an old mom and pop store, and I am extremely thankful for their presence. They have many organic items not available anywhere in DFW and at a very reasonable price. Whenever I'm in Ft Worth, I make it point to buy something there. Yes, it's not the I'll get you out of here in 1 minute and 15 seconds or less, but they do try and they tend to the customers in front of them. I'd rate them a four but to balance out the lower ratings they don't deserve, I upped it to five.

Absolutely love this store! I always tell myself I will be in and out in no time! That’s impossible! I always get lost in checking out all the great things and enjoy the cats in the store and so on. You have an outstanding store run by outstanding employees! Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I cannot say enough great things about this place! I buy everything here now. Stuff for my chickens, everything garden-related, dogfood and more. It’s my go-to! The staff is incredible too. Always a joy!

Very unique place to check out! Make sure to look all around because they do have plants spread out. The only thing I wish was different was the smell. I do understand some products may have an odor, but this smelled more like cat urine. Again, could just have been me.

a very bad service! the woman who was on site working. he responded very reluctantly. I asked her about some things and she answered that she worked inside the store. not on the outside. I had seen this business and always wanted to stop to buy. And today that I had the time to do it, I didn't want to go back. In the end I decided not to take any of the plantations that I had thought to buy ... terrible service.

Great place for healthy, native and adaptive plants. You can also get crops and herbs, supplies, natural fertilizers such as Garrett Juice, and even pet food. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair. Wish there was one closer but it's worth the drive to get plants that are meant for North Texas, unlike what you'll find at Lowe's and Home Depot.

The houseplants here are healthy from roots to tip compared to big box stores. I recently purchased a few plants here. The roots are always healthy, white, and not root bound. I definitely notice a difference in the vibrancy of my plants from this store. I also purchased outdoor statues 6 years ago. The quality is still the same and will be loved years to come.
