This company services our pool weekly. They are prompt on their arrival times and always notify me by text when they are on their way. Pool has stayed beautiful with no incidents. Highly recommend.

After one visit Simon has our pool looking better than it has in the last two month under the previous pool service provider. These are very nice respectful hard working people. I highly recommend them.

Our pool was never super clean and they left our water on for 5 days straight with a $600 water bill and will not take responsibility for their mistake. This is a second home and NO ONE was there but them, we have proof on our cameras and also the city was able to tell us when water was turned on. Exact time as cameras. Beware!

Update on 10/26/2024:
Below they responded saying they have asked for various forms of documentation, not true. Simon told us he would not pay the bill because it wasn’t in their policy to turn water on. Also, you couldn’t even tell us if the pool had drains and it did, the skimmers were draining the water when you left it on hence why it didn’t overflow. We were able to tell you the exact time the water was turned on (per CC water) which was SAME day as the pool service. Sand filter was the problem, there was zero sand and there was ball filters that go into an above ground pool. It was never even opened.

Thankfully, we switched pool services to Johnny Haas on island and our pool has never looked cleaner. Please do your research before hiring, mistake on our part.

Had called them replace a gaskets that shown signs of leaking the past few weeks. So They made multiple trips to come out and install new gasket, but was still leaking the day after i came back and looked at the pool pump. Called them again and they said they needed to change out more parts internally cause that’s why it might still be leaking. Paid the extra money and got them replaced, but was told now my pool pump motor won’t turn on even though I never had issues with it. I was out of town and they said they believe it was the capacitor so I told them just to order it and when they called me they offered to give me the part for half the price. I felt like they did everything they could to fix my pool pump so I agreed to pay full price anyways cause I know they’re making multiple trips back and forth. Well they install the capacitor and didn’t tell me anything until I called and that’s when they said the pool pump still won’t turn on and they’re not electricians so they don’t know what else it can be. Not till I check the pool pump motor myself I find a completely broken V switch hanging inside the motor cover that turns off and on the pump. So I initially called them let them know about the part and where to find it and they called a day later and spoken with a supplier saying they don’t have that part and that I will have to put in a new motor. I declined the new motor and went ahead and ordered the part and installed it myself and sure enough the motor started working again but to my surprise the pool pump is still leaking now from the bottom. I understand it was a lot of back and forth trying to figure out the problem which I appreciate but having the switch hanging there broken and never being told about it was the disappointing part especially after spending over $400 to repair something that never fully got fixed. Also they most likely replaced a capacitor that was completely fine with a new one that was never the cause of pool pump turning on. Pretty bad experience overall.

I highly recommend this pool service. Simon came out to take control of my pool after the previous company screwed me over. This company is very transparent and competitive in price. I recommend this company to anyone looking for their pool maintenance needs!

I’m very satisfied with this company!! I called Cortez Pools to service my parents pool as they are elderly and cannot do it themselves. Simon and Drew come out weekly and are always on time and always communicate with me about the conditions of the pool. I’ve been through several companies in the past but Cortez Pools have been the best !!

This pool company operates out of a residential home in the Rancho Vista community, 7501 Fort Griffen Corpus Christi, Texas. It violates zoning laws and HOA rules. The garage contains hazardous chemicals. Drive by and see for yourself. This Cortez Pool is not a business you can trust for your pool installation or maintenance.

So thrilled that Edna and crew are back. The whole crew was efficient and did an excellent job on my 40 year old windows inside and out. One of the things I love the best is that they also clean my window sills inside and out. Feel like I am in a new home. Thanks again Edna. Looking forward to next time.

Top of the line service!

great service, fast and on time. Robert the owner seemed very knowledgeable towards carpet cleaning and very courteous to my children and I. I will definitely use there services again.

i would highly recommend and will definitely use them again. Came home Friday at 5:30 to a huge mess from our dog being sick. Spoke to the owner and he was out here within an hour and was able to get our room back to normal. Great service all the way around.

really surprisingly great experience. All dealings with carpet cleaners before we moved here were either bad or worse. We had Quality Carpet clean everything in a building we got to set up our office. It was in very bad shape. We had a ton of tile, some carpet and the air vents were so bad they were furry. They cleaned it all, great guys the manager I guess was Mike. They did great! On time. And came back twice during the sealing and drying of our tile. I highly recommend them. Thanks guys!

Great customer service

Had an appointment scheduled for 9am. Received a phone call at 9:10 stating cleaning guy would be here at 11am. 11 am came and went. I called to ask where cleaning guy was and I was told thirty more minutes. That time came and went. 2:00pm rolls around cleaning guy shows up. No mask to clean my house. I am 8 months pregnant and cant be around anyone without precautions before entering hospital to give birth. Therefore I asked the gentleman if he could wear a mask. He said he would go find one. Hour passed no call no show. I called office and they told me he couldn’t find a mask. And they cant clean my carpets then hung up on me. After waiting ALL DAY. I am completely flabbergasted how this buisness stays open. Very Very unprofessional. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

This is the most unprofessional carpet company in Texas. Hands down. I have worked in San Antonio, Austin, North of Austin, East of San Antonio, and I have never been treated with such bad customer service. They really need the owner to stay behind the scenes, and hire someone for the customer service department. No wonder they haven't made is past Corpus. I'm actually surprised they are still in business. Good luck if you decide to give them a call, you'll need it. PS: They also overcharge on everything.

Not only do I call Spot Check for my apartment community, I call Spot Check for my personal home. Don is amazing! He is a miracle worker. He stretches & cleans leaving carpet looking new. I kid you not. Audra is wonderful to work with. She is professional, courteous and just a joy. I recommended Don to a friend who used him and they were Impressed. I highly recommend you try them, too! TEN STARS

This was an answer to prayer during a difficult time, the cleaning was above what I expected and truly made this holiday season so much more enjoyable.

I’ve been using this pool cleaning service for a while now and I’m really happy with the work. He shows up on time, keeps the pool spotless, and always makes sure the chemicals are balanced properly. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. Communication is easy and he’s always quick to respond if I have a question. It’s a relief knowing the pool is taken care of and ready to enjoy. Highly recommend his service to anyone looking for a reliable pool guy.
