All the process from beginning to finish was perfect. Javier (the owner) was communicative, responsible and I could tell that he knows his business very well. The labor guys payed attention to details and did a very good job. Javier came to the job site around four times a day to supervise the work. The final result was wonderful! I am beyond happy with their job.

We had a very good experience with Javier and his crew from Mercado Construction. When we first spoke with Javier, we told him how we wanted to put in a stone patio instead of a deck, like we just had removed. He was very friendly and personable as we told him what we wanted. Javier was easy to talk to, always wanting to please us. Anytime we texted him or called him, he answered promptly. Whenever we had a question, Javier explained things in detail and made sure we understood. If we were talking to him while his crew was working, they politely stopped using their loud equipment until we finished.
During the entire project, Javier was here at our house several times throughout the day. He often helped with the project. If we wanted to make any changes to our plans, he always tried to please us.
The crew from Mercado was very professional. They worked hard doing their job even when Javier was gone. At the end of each day, Javier and his crew cleaned up the entire construction site. The only things left here were the equipment and supplies needed for the next day.
Javier and his crew from Mercado did an outstanding job on our patio. We highly recommend them.

After contacting several landscapers in the Houston area, I found these guys. Not only are these the best landscapers, but they are truly a blessing and good people.

After being sent many estimates that were extremely high. I reached out to Javier and his wife and they began executing their plan to landscape my front yard and my backyard. I needed a company that could complete the job within two weeks and prior to my arrival of our new home. Javier did not hesitate to start right away!He did everything for us, he chose our flowers, our trees, our rocks, sod, EVERYTHING and also educated us about the plants as well.

He was proudly at work very early, every single day like clockwork and he was so professional that I trusted him and his company to give him access to the inside of my home, while not there. Not only did he take care of the landscaping, but he also helped me with some things inside of my house that I couldn’t do while I was gone like moving heavy tiles that were in our way of entering the garage. As we started working with them, we could quickly realize that they were truly a blessing to us and they went above and beyond their jobs without any sort of complaints. They went as far as to bring in mail/packages which had been delivered on our porch so that it didn’t appear that we were not home.

The landscaping job that we gave them was not very small and they got it done affordably for us and very quickly. He kept contact with me throughout the entire process.

He was extremely affordable. I did have a budget and they were very conscious of sticking with that and even working with me, reducing some cost on their end to make sure I was able to get my dream come true.

I love this company! They made us feel like we were family and I would recommend them to anyone in the Houston and especially this cypress area. In my opinion, there is no better company because they are honest, they are on time, reliable, and they also educate you about what they’re doing. I am now in my home enjoying my beautiful outdoor oasis!!

They are so good we are having them assist us with other landscaping things in the next few months!! I can’t wait to see what they’ll do to improve our home even more when that time comes!!!

Mercado Co did an AMAZING job extending and upgrading our patio! This is the first phase of upgrading our backyard and we’re so happy with the results!

Javier and his guys get a fantastic job. They cleared away the old deck, cleaned everything up, and did a beautiful job with the pavers. He also did it in the time he said it would take.

This company is a God Send!! They came out and gave me a very reasonable quote and quick start time. They completed my garden walkway in time and I can’t be happier. The owner and his front office are beautiful caring people who aim to do what is requested and do it with quality. Using Mercado Construction was a wonderful experience and I have no doubt it would be for you too!!

Great experience from start to finish! Project manager was very communicative and great to work with. Carpentry, stone & landscape and electrical crews were on time and very competent. Any questions/concerns were answered quickly throughout the process. Very pleased with our patio. First class job!

We love our new outdoor gazebo. Mercado Construction took our vision and made it a reality. Javier and Jackie and everyone on the construction team was amazing to work with on the project. Very open communication at every step of the way. Highly highly recommend!!!

Mercado Construction just completed both side yards of our house and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. It exceeded our expectations. Javier listened to our needs, provided ideas and recommendations that were on point. His crew was very well organized and finished the project quickly.

Javier and Jackie were great to work with! From the beginning they were helpful from sharing their thoughts and ideas for our outdoor project to helping with the survey for our HOA approval. Javier and his team always showed up on time and remained on schedule throughout the completion of the project. Javier was extremely patient with us as we had consistent changes, he never hesitated and was always open to doing whatever made us happy. We throughly enjoyed working with Javier and his team, we are extremely satisfied with the outcome. Javier, Jackie, and their crew are top tier! For my patio and walkway paver project, I had 8 different contractors quote me on their ideas and process. Javier and Jackie were the most detailed, most informative, and the best communicators out of them all. They allowed me to ask every question I wanted before and during the process to ensure I understood why they were doing a particular detail one way or another. Their price was very fair for the work they did, and during the project they kept things clean, tidy, and organized. They went above and beyond my expectations, and didn’t just look to complete the project to collect a check. They cared about the details and what I wanted, and they delivered excellent results. I even had a shortened timeline for an upcoming gathering, and they got it worked in to complete it 5 days early. Most of all, I had many conversations with Javier during the 5 days that his team was here, these are good and genuine people and that’s hard to find sometimes now days. I will have Mercado Construction back anytime I need more work done, and will definitely recommend them moving forward!

We recently had Mercado Construction redo our patio with pavers and install a French drain, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Javier and his team did an excellent job from start to finish. He communicated clearly throughout the project, offered helpful ideas, and made sure everything was done right. His crew was professional, punctual, and respectful of our space. The price was very reasonable for the quality of work. Our backyard has completely transformed. No more muddy mess, we are really enjoying the patio. Highly recommend Javier and Mercado Construction!

We could not recommend Mercado Construction enough! Javier was so personable and thorough. He gave us lots of ideas and several quotes. Our project was not very big but he was there with his guys doing the work and it was done with great attention to detail. We’ll likely put in a pergola and will use Mercado again. Great experience from start to finish. Javier, Jackie, and their team do honest, good work from start to finish.

Mercado designed and completed a flagstone back patio extension for us and did a wonderful job. Javier and Jackie were great to work with and are wonderful people as well. Javier worked closely with us to explore different options and create the final design and both were super responsive to any questions or concerns that came up throughout the process. The crew was always on-site early, worked a full day, and completely cleaned up at the end of every day. Just a great experience all around and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our house backs to a busy greenbelt and we get compliments on the new patio all the time. I would definitely recommend Javier, Jackie, and their crew without hesitation.

I cannot say enough good things about working with Mercado. Javier and Jackie were very easy to communicate with and were available any time I reached out to them. The work was done at the time promised and was finished on schedule. Javier was there most of the time the work was being done and answered all of our questions. The crew cleaned up each day before leaving. We are very happy with the quality of the work. I would highly recommend Mercado to anyone and will reach out to them in the future for other projects. Thank you Jackie and Javier, it’s beautiful!

I could not be happier with the new patio and pergola that Javier and his team built for me! From a sketch of mine on paper to reality! They always came when they said they would as Jackie keeps you updated on scheduling and responds to any questions. Javier is so detail- oriented and was always on site supervising every step of the way! They did demo of 2 slabs, moved a lot of my sprinkler system, regraded and installed several french drains, laser-sighted and rebarred, poured the new slab, colored and stamped the concrete, sealed and then installed a Pergolux pergola once the concrete had cured. He was so accommodating when I threw in a major pivot mid-project. Prices were extremely reasonable and each part was itemized on the estimates. Honesty and integrity all around and a great experience! Thanks Javier and team!
