How did you lose a window?
I was suppose to get 6 smaller windows, 1 large window, a sliding door and a patio.
I was hounded for TWO MONTHS for when I’d be available to complete the install.
I finally give a great amount of time for them to complete the work. The actually finished installing 6 of my smaller windows with a minor annoyance that I had to talk to them about forgetting to caulk a window inside.
I asked them when in the day they were installing my large window and get this….. it was lost, or part of it was not available, either way, it wasn’t ready.
So after about two months of asking me when I’m ready to get these windows installed.
“When are you ready to install?”
“When are you ready to install?”
“We have everything ready to go in the warehouse!!!”
YOU - CAT EXTERIORS - in fact did not have what you needed to completely satisfy my order.
Now to the communication part; or lack thereof. The lack of communication of important information has been unreal. I was not informed that my big @ss window was no where to be found until the middle of the first day. We talked about putting a second waterline outside for my patio so I could add a kitchen since they had to do plumbing work and I had to wait. That was crossed off the list because it would “cost too much” which no one told me this until the plumber was done and I see no extra line outside. I spoke to the plumber and he said it would have been an extra $130 to do this. In the grand scheme of things on how my home has been looking over the past few days, I wanted energy efficient windows and I have a gaping hole in my home spewing out my good cold air and a large window that’s not installed.
I can say one thing that wasn’t their fault was the waterline that was not predicted, but how they handled it was not okay for me from the lack of communication for what I wanted and was getting to the window installers leaving to never return for the second day when there was ample amount of time to get work done.
Since the window installers came, the patio door obviously couldn’t be installed. When it came to protecting the patio door on the truck, I was told that it could go back on the truck. Time passed and when I asked why it’s not going on the truck before they left for the plumber to do his job, I was then told there is no room because of other jobs. Another baited promise and switched reality. Now today it is raining with a half-$$$ job of covering it and my worries now is my yard floods in certain areas and if this will be thoroughly wiped down before install because this is no longer just from the warehouse to the install.
Now, I have my home exposed (shown in photo) and no one has come out over the weekend as I was told could happen (shown in a screenshot). I work multiple jobs and they expected me to shift both schedules around when this was suppose to be an “emergency” for me and them included, but somehow now no one can be found to complete any part of the job until my availability next week. I have communicated MULTIPLE times that the following week is not good for me, but yet I keep getting asked about Monday and Wednesday like what I’m telling them is being ignored. I don’t understand why I was told work could ‘lead’ into Saturday but when Saturday comes, everyone is scheduled or not available for this. Under my circumstances I won’t be home for work to be complete for another week. So now I get to work two jobs all week and come home to a complete nightmare.
Everything in this renovation that could go wrong, is going wrong as of today I am feeling like I picked the wrong people for the job.
Work began 5.15.25
It is now 5.18.25
As of 5.18.25
I am told someone will come tomorrow and put plastic over the exposed area of my home that is allowing bugs and wasps in.
I will update this review as the time passes with more photos due to a review character limit. If more stars are awarded, I will add them accordingly if they are EARNED, but this has turned into a complete nightmare for me and my home. -
Hey guys, I just got my house windows replaced by Cat Exterior. Dylin and his crew were professional, thorough and considerate of all the details in the scope. They did a spectacular job and I highly recommend them! If you ever need to get a job done, be sure to ask for these guys! They will not disappoint.

Great value! The windows are fantastic! The contractor, Dylan Hill, was very accommodating on the installation schedule for the windows due to some medical issues. He was very professional, kept a clean worksite, and made sure we were completely satisfied before he finished the install. Kudos to Dylan and his crew! Kent Byers delivered the products and service promised during his sales visit. An overall top notch experience from start to finish!

I have never had to beg someone to clean up after themselves after a job let alone finish it For Windows and a patio over $50,000. I would expect more I was told someone was gonna come out today to finish it after they came last week and I was confident, but after a no-show as well as getting coke compliances by the city because of things they didn’t haul away since August, I am fed up. I’m fed up with empty promises and I also have another house. I was gonna have them do Windows on and put in a deposit but at this point, I don’t wanna deal with someone who makes empty promises doesn’t pick up after themselves and me receiving code compliances because they refuse to pick anything up. I would also like to mention how the fan location is in a very ugly place that is way too close to the door and I was told it would be very very difficult to change this so now for the rest of my life I guess I have to look at this or pay extra to fix it? All of my One stars could have been avoided, but we are now playing stupid games.

Is a very professional company,i hire them to make an addition on the second floor , in the city of plano ,and was very pleased, I recommend 100%
-
They did not complete the job they were hired to do and we had to hire another sub-contractor to repair what they did and finish the job.
-
Boss custom construction left a home addition/ remodel before it was complete. Took full payment, made mistakes, then didn't respond
-
They installed two HVAC system.. left the manuals inside the system that caused it to stop heating. they would not come back to check after many attempt to reach them. It cost me money to clean it while under their warranties. Hard to get them to follow up on issues
-
horrible workmanship, two jobs left in very poor state, more than 150% money paid of original contract, job is delayed by 3 months. it is taking lot more money to clean up the mess and fix up. beare beware of fredy cruz contractor

Beware, Freddy and Rickie are on the prowl. They will take your money, they will lie to you and they will not finish your job. They are operating as Ram Superior Construction, or Boss Custom Construction, LLC, or MD Remodeling, or RNG somesuch. Or something new. Always check their address: 2035 Sunnyside Dr., Little Elm, or perhaps some address on LBJ Freeway. you will know them by Freddy Cruz and/ Ricardo (Rickie) Lozano. I will have their full legal names tomorrow for you.
So here are you warning signs that your are about to the get the Freddy special.
If he starts missing time at your job because of his kid. Sure he will call you, but if he is whispering and telling you his child in the hospital, he’s hiding from you. He will play on your emotions, because that what he does.
If he tells you he can’t make a delivery of supplies because his truck is broken down. He doesn’t drive the truck, he drives the car all the time. His partner Rickie has the good truck.
If he takes a payment and then a few days later asks for another. He is running low on cash, this he will be walking off the job very soon. And you will love the story about the handshake.
If he shows up with someone in his car, he is trying to stall you. He doesn’t have time to answer questions. He is in and out.
If he takes a payment from you and cashed a check at a check cashing place, he’s broke and needs immediate cash.
If he tells you something is ordered, and then tells you it is ordered from another place than he originally stated, he’s stalling. He hasn’t ordered anything. He’s broke.
If he tells you someone is on vacation in Mexico and upon return they will complete the job. Run!!! He’s lying.
And make no mistakes, Rickie is a party to all of this bs. He is a partner and understands English very well. Rickie just says to take it up with Freddy. Just another way for them to deflect.
So when Freddy shows up, he will driving a black pickup or grey dodge 2 door. when you ask him about these reviews he will tell you that he paid everyone back, they just didn’t update their review. He gave them the Freddy special $500 a month plan. Whatever. He never paid them back. I knew he would offer me the Freddy $500 special before he offered it. Because he did it to everyone else. Or he will tell you no one is ever satisfied and they simply didn’t want to pay him upon completion. If u read the articles a bit closer, they paid him, he just never came back. Make no mistake, you will be the victim as well. He will even tell you no payment is due until completion. He doesn’t have cash flow, so no payment up front, no work.
if you are currently dealing with him, don’t give him any money until he completes whatever it is. If he asks for payment up front, refuse. Or pay for the materials yourself and have them delivered. At least you will have the materials when he vanishes. Or you will end up with a half finished job, broke. But hey, he will offer the Freddy special $500 repayment plan. Which by the way, he doesn’t honor. I’m tired of chasing him. It’s a beating.
I will update this daily. Additionally we are in the process of suing both of them and all of their companies. There a few. Additionally we are referring the matter, with the others he has done this to, for criminal charges. Theft of services on such a large scale should attract the interest of the folks at city hall.
There is a pattern. Better for you pay someone else with better reviews. He certainly taught me a lesson.
If you would like more information please contact me at bewareramsuperiorconstruction@gmail.com.
Again, I will update this daily and update on the progress with the civil and criminal matters. -
Run, run, run. Freddy is slick. Be careful. They are crooks. They took over $13k to finish renovations. Promised me that everything was paid for while I handed Freddy the last check. Low and behold, he had not paid for the cabinets, granite, backsplash or installation. When we were sitting g at the cabinet makers he swore they were paid for. They weren’t. He literally said the cabinet maker was paid but never showed up. And the cabinet maker showed me a stack of hot checks Freddy had written to him. We had to pay again. So essentially he took the kitchen renovation money and disappeared. He did reappear a month later. After we were essentially done, without him, he had the gall to ask for 20% of what we paid for the cabinets, backsplash and countertops. Plus when I pushed him on the cabinets originally he said the cabinet guy was out of town that’s why there was a delay. Freddy’s efforts delayed us 1 month. We were sitting there like fools. So he took out money and the following was left for us to fix:
Complete kitchen. We literally had nothing in kitchen.
He left Holes in walls.
He created a Plumbing disaster.
Ceiling busted through.
Deck 70% completed.
Exposed wiring.
Burned up AC system. They told us no filter was necessary. Whoops it was.
Reset kitchen window.
Finishing wiring the kitchen
And to add insult to injury, the subcontractors asking us to pay them after Freddy stiffed them. We told them Freddy has been paid.
Additionally Freddy actually tried to borrow money from me. Was going to pledge his vehicle. He never showed up with titles. So now money. What a trip.
Freddy and Ricky are crooks.
Freddy is a terrific liar.
Ricky is quiet but he is a partner. So he knows everything. He will play dumb, he isn’t.
He will use your money to pay for old jobs. He floats.
Google Freddy you will see we weren’t the only victim. It’s his mo.
Freddy will lie to your face. He will even shake your hands before each payment. Knowing he is screwing you. Snake.
Do not pay Freddy until he is complete.
If Freddy starts making excuses, stop and money to him. He hedging and has spent your money. He is waiting for the next deal to cover your expenses.
Don’t be sucked in by Freddy. He is a great salesman. But a horrible business man.
Oh he promised to repay us, but made a few payments and then disappeared. So we are instigating suit. We along with other folks. You have been warned.

BEWARE! Breach of Contract – walked off the job. Very deceiving and we were lied to constantly. We hired them to remodel our house. They took our on time payments used on another job. We paid 3 large lump sums per their contract. In said contract they give you allowances for the different items needing to be done. However, when the time comes for that certain contract item you discover there’s also a “Boss Construction” fee in that allowance… therefore the allowance amount does not cover the entire cost for the item and they need a separate check to cover the additional cost! They used defective materials, cutting corners EVERYWHERE possible. SLOPPY, SLOPPY, no quality workmanship! Their contractors stole items from our house that we could never get back, i.e. solid core interior door, kitchen sink & faucet, lawn equip from our garage, etc. The contractors damaged existing items, i.e. tile floor, crown moldings, in the house while doing demo and Boss never repaired. I had to personally clean up daily after the contractors… ranging from lunch trash, French fries on the floors, spilled sodas, construction debris left for weeks throughout house. They left us with no countertops, no electrical lighting installed, no kitchen appliances installed, RAW UNFINISHED wood floors, 3 rooms with no doors, no thresholds at exterior doorways, hole in wall for the fireplace, holes in the drywall throughout the house, crooked doorways, untextured and unpainted walls, unfinished/ uninstalled trim and baseboards, unfinished ½ bath which we paid extra with separate check for, unfinished kitchen cabinets & island, unlevel and squeaky floors throughout the house, unfinished stairway steps. They can’t even hire good painters… drip marks everywhere! A lot of the electrical wiring they did, adding new outlets for fixtures or plugs, we discovered was screwed up when we hired an electrician to install our lighting fixtures and our electrician had to straighten everything out. Boss Custom Construction is nothing but a bunch of thieves. They told us they would finish our house but we would have to pay them again for the items that needed to be done and then they would repay us $500/mo! What a joke, pay them again for items we had already paid for! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

In June of 2016 we hired Boss to remodel our home, and build an addition. Things were going well for the first 2-3 months, and then they suddenly stopped showing up around Labor Day. We repeatedly called and texted multiple contacts for about 3 months before any work started again. Then we had the same issue of no show/no contact for another 60 Days or so. When an attempt was finally made by them to get started again, we were told they were broke, and we paid all supplies and subcontractors to get the job completed without having to spend even more to hire someone else. Even after we kept the final check from the bank, Boss owed us about $17000.00. They were supposed to have started paying us $500/month in June 2017. It’s now October 2017, and we have yet to receive a single dollar from them despite repeated reminders. Unfortunately, we cannot justify taking any legal action against them, as that will only cost us more time and money, with no guarantee that they would be able to pay what they owe us.
