Unfortunately not a good outcome for us... the technician was very polite, prompt, and respectful but didn't diagnose the issue right.

Said it was an Oncor problem, and it took two more rounds (from Oncor and one from another electrician) to actually ID and fix he issue - which was actually something in the box.

After having bad experiences with electricians, I am glad to have found Power Edge. From the beginning, I was met with a smile that I could feel over the phone by the person who had answered my calls twice. I was given a very reasonable quote (TO WHICH THEY STUCK TO!!!). The electrician Taurus was very good at explaining what he was seeing and what he was doing and providing step-by-step possibilities. Again, after having bad experiences with other companies, this served well to relieve my anxiety. If I need electrical work in the future, I will call PowerEdge and ask if Taurus is available.

Thanks for helping me out with EV charger installation. The technician Mercelo did a very clean job in installing the charger mount, 240 v switch and went an extra mile bringing the wires from inside the wall. Had a great experience with PowerEdge. They were able to make it out on the same day I called, diagnosed the issue and made the repair. They were great to work with from the initial call and the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

I was searching for an electrician on yelp to install a grounded outlet in my bathroom. PowerEdge contacted me with my options and estimate. The tech, Tarus, arrived at the scheduled time and did a thorough inspection while explaining why it had to be done a certain way and options on how he could do it. Tarus was very methodical taking his time in his work. He cleaned up whatever little mess there was. I received the invoice the following day which was easy to pay and leave a tip. I am very pleased with the results and definitely recommend PowerEdge and especially Tarus. It’s unlikely to find a company and technician in this day and age that you can trust to do what they claim with reasonable prices.

The electrician, Tarus Ivory listened to my needs and was very courteous. He took time to analyze my electrical issues. He also pointed out several issues that are hazardous and would need immediate attention. I appreciate Mr Ivory’s concern for my safety. I highly recommend him.

Installed an EV charger incorrectly and damaged electrical panel. Electrician was not licensed. The whole panel was recommended to be changed due to the damage caused by incorrectly installing the EV charger. The Company sent a different electrician who confirmed they made the mistake. The owner will not respond or call to resolve this matter.

We hired PowerEdge to install a Tesla wall charger in our garage in December 2024. We paid extra to include a permit and asked for city inspection. Everything seemed fine at first, but now five months later, the charger has stopped working and began displaying a "hot wire" warning, making it unusable.

Since then, we have made multiple attempts to contact PowerEdge by phone, email, and through their website over the course of several weeks. Unfortunately, we have not received any response. Their website advertises a 1-year service warranty, and we are still within that window, but we have been completely ignored.

It is incredibly frustrating to be left without support for a service we paid $930 for in full, especially when it involves electrical work that could pose a safety risk. We were hoping to resolve this directly, but given the lack of response, we felt it was important to share our experience and warn others.

We hope PowerEdge chooses to honor the warranty and respond, but until then, we cannot recommend them based on our experience.

UPDATE 6/18/25:

We were finally able to get PowerEdge to come out, but could only do so by scheduling a new service request appointment on their website as someone else.

They were able to confirm it wasn't an electrical issue with the installation, but instead, we had to lower the amp setting to charge the car at 40 amps. We're still not entirely sure why our car never overheated for 5 months after installation, but now it can only handle 40amps, which is fine with us.

We're changing our rating to 3 stars because we still had a very poor experience as it relates to communication. Although no electrical issue was identified, it's still unacceptable to be ignored for weeks on end. We never received a return call after leaving many messages and never a response to our many email follow-ups. The only way we were able to get PowerEdge to come look into the issue was to schedule a new service appointment using their website.

I had Daniel from Power Edge and he was the best. He was quick, knowledgeable, very friendly and was able to solve the problem under a half hour. I would definitely use Power Edge and specifically Daniel again for any electrical needs!

Daniel with PowerEdge, was great. He arrived on time, very professional, explained everything with great detail, made sure I understood everything he was doing and the reason for it. I will certainly keep their number for future needs!

Daniel is an expert with EV charger installations. He not only completed the job perfectly within 1 hour but also waited for five minutes while my EV was being charged to make sure it was working properly. He also showed me how to handle the charger with a high level of professionalism and politeness. I highly recommend Daniel from PowerEdge for electrical work at your homes!

Daniel came out to the house this week and helped us remove some electrical things that were left over from previous home owners. He was exactly on time, quick and friendly. Will use them again.
