My experience with this company and especially, Kevin Jackson was exceptional. He called before he arrived and arrived on time. From the moment he stepped into our home he was a professional. He pointed out things I was not aware of and made recommendations . He was friendly, polite, and attentive.
He was clearly focused on making me happy. It could have been a messy job but Kevin made a point of leaving our house cleaner than when he arrived. He also went the extra mile by fixing a small problem that we didn't know we had. I would highly recommend this company and especially Kevin. He was simply outstanding .

Brent did a great job in installing the Tesla EV charger in our garage. Scheduled the service on Monday and got the service the following day. Brent arrived on time, went above and beyond with the installation, attention to detail was excellent and just exceptional customer service. Highly recommended!

Cody with W3 did a great job of explaining everything and provided a detailed quote for a new electrical breaker panel and surge protector. Very professional.

Johnathan at W3 was great, fast, respectful and kind. They dont use AI bots they have real people to talk to.

Rylan was my tech and I was more than satisfied with the service I received. Before he got started, I had several questions which he very patiently answered. He installed a light fixture above my front entry door which involved getting up into my attic and installing wiring to the site. After installing the fixture, several adjustments had to be made to the angle of the lamps which he was very careful to do until I was satisfied. Also, he cleaned up after himself so that things looked as good as they did before he arrived. Thank you, Rylan, for being so courteous and helpful. This is the 3rd project W3 Electric has done for me and I have been happy with their work every time.

W3 did a fantastic job. Told us where are problems where. How we need to fix them., now we are setting up a date to get everything moved and set back up the right way.
You can do it anyway you want, but we are getting it fixed right now…thanks W3 for the professional services you are providing…

Enrique did a good job installing ring doorbell and garage motion sensor and also got us setup on my phone apps. Would definitely recommend him!

London came out to my home to review generator options with me. He was great at answering all my questions and explaining the process of what to expect.

London came by for are winter tune up. He did a thorough job checking our electric system, replaced batteries and tested smoke detector/carbon dioxide sensors. We then discussed potential electrical upgrades and he provided a few quotes. Five star service.

Anthony with W3 did a great job helping to get a commercial sign wired to the building. Great communication and work.

Jonathan showed up on time, communicated clearly, and was very helpful with the troubleshooting and work we needed done. Will certainly use Jonathan and W3 Electric again.

Our vintage home in McKinney needed many new and improved electrical outlets and switches installed. We are repeat customers of W3 Electric and got an appointment scheduled right away. We really liked the electrician, Cole. He was super competent. I also like that all W3 workers wear shoe covers while in the house. Cole walked us through the detailed bid and because we have a service agreement with W3, we decided to get all the outlets/switches completed. Cole powered through our long list of installations (indoor and outdoor). This company consistently does great work. Well done!

I’ll start with the positive. The electrician who came over was a very polite guy and explained things thoroughly. Based on the other reviews, I’ll assume the quality of electrical work is high too.

However, I have to give a low rating for the W3 electrician being misleading.

I called W3 to figure out why several outlets in my house weren’t working. The electrician told me he could repair my GFCI for $650 to get the outlets working, however he suggested instead a $10,000 project to replace my breaker box to get the system to meet 2023 national code and to avoid several potential hazards based off some 10 point safety checklist that includes some bogus categories including water shock. He did not make this suggestion as a “nice to have” upgrade but urged me that I really needed to replace the breaker box immediately.

I called a different electrician for a second opinion who told me my meter was good, grounding was good, panel was good, and that the house had copper wiring. W3 told me all these items were hazard issues, and W3 claimed a hazard due to my system “containing aluminum components” - in reality, my house has copper wiring throughout but aluminum feeders to the meters, and the 2nd electrician explained that aluminum feeders are fine as long as the wiring is copper. Finally, the other company charged me $250 for the GFCI repair compared to the $650 for this same GFCI repair that W3 quoted.

If I’m going to try to offer any defense of W3, my house is 44 years old, the breaker box looks old, and I’m sure the system doesn’t meet whatever 2023 code is. That said, I still believe there’s no justification to speak in the dire terms they did when code changes can be marginal and a separate licensed electrician offered a vastly different evaluation (the embellishment about aluminum components solidified my feeling that W3 attempted to deceive for sake of making a sale). Another defense of W3 is the electrician did encourage me to get a 2nd opinion…maybe his input is a matter of believing that it’s necessary to upgrade to the most modern system available…but I think it takes a sucker who can’t calibrate risk to fall for that advice

Enrique P & apprentice installed a new subpanel and Tesla Wall Connector in my garage. The team was professional, on time, and did clean, high-quality work—wiring was neat, everything passed inspection easily, and they left the place spotless. Charging is fast and reliable now. Highly recommend!

Enrique was great - very nice, explained all of my options in detail and installed a ceiling fan outdoor and new outlets in the garage. All in a good and efficient time. Very happy with his work.
