Very disappointed about not getting estimate after waiting two weeks for an appointment. Representative arrived rang door bell once place card at door and left quickly. Never called before arrival or contact me via phone. So disappointing

I had to make sure I leave a review because this company came to get the job done when I had water damage . At first I was not so happy because when they were done I wasn't asked if everything was good they just completed it and tha was it. A few months later we started having similar issues and I was sure something was not done right. I called a few times and nothing was done. Mr.Ron my project manager contacted me today and sent someone out here quickly to check my issue out and let me make things clear their job was completed correctly the issue was clogged pipes which was causing the leak. Carlos the AC person that came had great customer service and actually replaced one pipe to avoid future similar issues, because he had to cut it to check it. I would recommend this company to anyone and will definitely hire them for future damages if needed. Thank you for your great customer service and professional work, you deserve more than 5 stars.

Ricky came out today to steam clean my carpet and rug. He was a total professional, demonstrating courtesy and attention to detail! I will definitely use Allied Elements and ask for Ricky next time I need my carpets cleaned.

They did a great job cleaning the carpet despite the fact that it was pretty beat! The technician took pictures and sent them to me so I could see before and after pictures. This was great for me because I am not in the same city as my house, which is rented out.

I recently had my hardwood floors installed, and I'm thrilled with the outcome. The installation teams' attention to detail and craftsmanship are truly impressive. i highly recommend them!

They did a good job with the water damage repairs. However, the reason I am writing a bad review is that when they had my gym equipment moved out of a room, the wood floor was dented up. They said they would compensate or have it repaired. They would answer text and give me vague “we will get back to you” emails but nothing was done. We kept up this email exchange for 4 FOUR years and they never did anything. The repair would have cost thousands but I would have taken the $250 they offered me. They were supposed to help me get my house repaired but due to their inactions, I now get to look at my scratched floor every day.

Russell and his crew arrive on time and do a fantastic job of cleaning carpets even carpets that have had cats and dogs on them. They make the carpets smell clean and are spot free! They have cleaned many carpets for several of my clients-- buyers and sellers! Everyone loves their results!

Absolutely Wonderful! This review has been a long time coming. My story: I called Allied Elements and was greeted on the phone by the owner of the company (how great is that for customer service!) I told him where I lived and we set up a time to go see the carpet that needed a cleaning. He was punctual, gave me a great estimate and said he would return later that same day to do the job. Later, he came with his companion, they did the work (Amazing work!) and that's it. That easy. Unfortunately I no longer live in Denton, but If I ever move back, I am calling these fellows for any services they can offer! I tell all my friends about them. They rock! :)

I had an issue with a water leak from my upstairs laundry room. I got a couple estimates ranging from $600 (putting a bandaid on the problem) vs $12k. My insurance sent a third-party to take a look, which happened to be Speciality Contractors. Tom came by and gave us the most detailed estimate and a plan that sounded the most reasonable. I was a little hesitant to go with them, mostly because I found it weird that the reviews on here mostly talked about carpet cleaning. I just finished signing paperwork on the completion of the repair and I am happy to say I am very satisfied with the job they did. Carol, Tom, Brian and all the other contractors we came across were all friendly and professional. Brian, the project manager was always quick to send me updates and communicate with me. If I ever need any home repairs done, I now know who to go to.
If I had to mention an area of improvement, I'd like suggest shoe coverings. I understand the contractors that are doing work need to wear shoes, but during the process several people came by to do estimates or look at specific things. I always appreciate when shoe coverings are worn. -
They make my carpet look new every time. I’ve been a loyal customer for over four years and that’s getting my carpet cleaned almost every 3-4 months. Russel even got red nail polish off! Their pricing is great too. They are the best!
Highly recommend. -
Same experience as another review had mentioned. Had an appt today for 10 AM with supposedly a David or Noel to do an in person estimate. I was at the home and literally saw on the camera that someone arrived and drove out the driveway within 2 minutes of arriving. Not even sure if they rang the doorbell. Crazy! Guess they don’t want business. I called the number they provided and it rang and rang, no answer. Super unprofessional.

I would HIGHLY recommend this company! They cleaned my carpets yesterday and now my carpets look awesome. The employees were very professional and I was completely comfortable with them in my home. Good work Allied Elements!
If you need your carpets cleaned, give them a call. They also clean tile, grout and air ducts. I am going to have them clean my kitchen and dining room tile and grout later this year! -
I waited a few months to post this, so I would not rage type. This company was hired to update a bathroom for my parents and put in new vinyl flooring throughout the house , since my dad is now handicapped. Please PROCEED WITH CAUTION if you choose this company. They use sub contractors that do not know the first thing about craftsmanship, and the ones that think they are craftsman are ABSOLUTELY not. I cannot possibly list everything that went wrong with this remodel, as it is almost not believable. My mom ended up paying them to get rid of them because she had already hired another contractor to come and finish what they couldn't do. Jesse, the "Project Manager" is also very lacking in his managing skills. PLEASE BE VERY AWARE.

NOEL AND JESSE APPRECIATION POST
Noel and Jesse are amazing and helped us through all our horrible house leak issues. We had a leak problem that no one could figure out the source of the issue and Noel and Jesse were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and helped us through everything including trying to figure out the source of the issue so it wouldn't happen again and the entire rebuild process. We had a REALLY terrible experience with the mitigation company and our insurance company that came out before Specialty so I'm so thankful for them to come in after and be honest and empathic about our house situation unlike the other company. Our house looks great now and I highly recommend them. -
We had an awesome experience with Specialty Contractors for our kitchen remodel and flooring install. David, the estimator, made the whole process easy from the start—he really listened to what we wanted and helped us find the best options without pushing anything we didn’t need. Once the work started, Jesse, the project manager, kept everything on track and was super easy to communicate with. His crew was professional, showed up on time, and made sure to clean up at the end of each day, which we really appreciated.
Now that everything’s done, we absolutely love how it turned out. The kitchen feels more open and modern, and the new floors completely changed the look of our home. You can tell they care about their work because the attention to detail is top-notch. If you’re looking for a reliable contractor who actually listens and follows through, Specialty Contractors is the way to go. We’d 100% recommend them! -
We worked with Specialty Contractors on a USAA insurance claim and couldn’t be happier. Estimator Noel Sullivan coordinated smoothly with our adjuster and outlined a scope that fit our policy. Project Manager Freddy Rodriguez kept everything on schedule, shared photo updates, and ensured inspections passed without delay. The repairs look fantastic, and the whole process was much easier than we expected.

Freddie Was Our Project Manager – Poor Quality, Zero Accountability
We hired this company for a full remodel after a slab leak, and it turned out to be a disaster. Freddie was our project manager and did nothing to supervise the work. We have a door camera and confirmed he never came by to inspect the flooring, electrical, plumbing, or paint. We had to demand that the unlicensed plumber seal and shim the toilet. We are having to pay someone else to fix all this.
What we’re left with:
• Flooring with gaps and uneven installation (see photo)
• Unlevel stove (confirmed with a level tool – see photo)
• Shorted-out ceiling fan
• A visible hole in the ceiling
• Broken blinds never replaced
• Sloppy recessed lighting install in our ceiling (photo included)
Freddie, Derrick, Jessie, and David gaslit us when we brought up issues and constantly passed blame. There was no follow-up, no final walkthrough, no supervision — just a revolving door of subs doing rushed, uninspected work.
The only subcontractor who did a decent job was the painting crew (HDZ). But the rest of the work? Sloppy, careless, and inexcusable.
We paid through USAA, and as a veteran, I’m disgusted by how this company treats military families. They should not be on any insurance-approved contractor list — especially not with USAA.
If you’re a homeowner or veteran dealing with a slab leak or insurance claim, please take this as a warning. I would never hire this company again. -
Trust worthy, competent, fair. Specialty Contractors was 1 of 2 general contractors that we used for a floor to ceiling, interior and exterior remodel of our home over a 6 month period. I am very satisfied with the outcome and the value I received from them as a general contractor and the sub contractors they selected for our project. Specialty was responsible for the ceilings, walls (dry wall and stained judges panel restoration), cabinet restoration, major electrical upgrades, and all the outside facia, soffit and wall panel replacements. At the end I added to their task installing leaf guards on the gutters as it was best for them to coordinate this task with the planned exterior work. A long review as I want to share not only my satisfaction but also some insight into why it worked out so well.
As a general contractor, the subcontractors they use are going to determine the quality of the outcome. All of them did fine work and were very responsive to clearing all items on my punch list to my satisfaction. The majority of the work (drywall, ceiling, painting, staining, cabinet restoration, carpentry. light fixture replacements) required craftsman with significant skill to pass my acceptance and was carried out by a firm called HDZ. I have to add a thanks to them in this review as they did a great job on all their work items treating our home as they would theirs.
I came in contact with Specialty through USAA's associated referal service, which in my mind speaks highly for them. The insurance work background also meant that the approach they take to the work estimate is very detailed delivering a Statement-Of-Work that provides 100% transparency to exactly what work will be done and how much each work item costs. The estimator (Noel) was a true professional in every way - expert knowledge, he fully grasped the approach we wanted to take and the outcome we were seeking, and very customer oriented. He was a key reason we went with Specialty and why the experience was smooth from start and finish. The estimator wrote out a detailed SOW of the full project which we later broke down into an initial contract and 9 separate change orders so that I could gain confidence as we progressed with the work of the Specialty and their subcontractors. I had a clear understanding before we started as to the cost of every future item and how any changes might impact that cost.
I also have to do a call out to the lady responsible for managging all the invoice tasks and payments. Another true professional who managed all the project cost changes as we processed the 9 change orders and was always responsive to every request.
Many thanks to the team at Specialty and their sub contractors for a project well done and treating our home as you would treat yours. -
Our house in Plano had a plumbing leak insurance claim that ended up involving the entire interior. Specialty did an excellent job of helping us navigate the insurance claim & all its complications. In addition, we took the opportunity for some long desired upgrades. We were/are very pleased with the outcome. We could not have accomplished everything without their expertise. We definitely we would recommend their services to others.
